Stacia Kane’s “Downside Ghosts” captured and held me through the entire series so far. Witches with innate magical powers assist in controlling ghosts that now run rampant on earth, protecting humans from their wrath. Chess Putnam, a highly and naturally skilled witch (struggling with her own personal demons) runs into trouble however, when she assists both the “Church” she works for, and the battling underground gangs that run her city. Caught in the middle, she experiences more danger, and fear than ever before, all the while developing unconventional friendships, a potential romance, and heartache that will leave you aching for more.

And Even MORE New Paranormal Book Releases (for 2010)
Click here for my most current List of Paranormal Book Releases
I keep finding ’em…and they keep coming. We will NEVER be bored again. I don’t think I’ve uttered “I’m bored” since I picked up the Twilight series and read through anything “paranormal romance” I could find.
So here are the latest one’s I’ve found (and I’ve added them to my MAIN & permanent “Paranomal Book Releases Page” for your viewing pleasure 😉 ) – click here for the complete list.
My Newest E-Book Reader! The iPad! It’s Shiny!
Apple iPad Tablet (64GB, Wifi + 3G)
My sweet sweet husband…the techie. Just dying for an excuse to buy the latest and greatest. Each time we’d stop in an electronics store, there’d always be the obligatory iPad touching, and his trying to convince me of how badly we needed one – that somehow, it MUST have something that would make our lives easier, right?
So this weekend (while yet again, on another business trip), he asked me what I wanted for my birthday (and my answer is usually, oh I dunno…books, or anything to do with books), I shrugged and said hrmmm…how about an iPad? Now I wasn’t really expecting one, but I had heard good things (especially for ebook reading), so why not? What do I want for my birthday – sure – let’s go with that! Why not blow his mind a little since usually my requests are sorta lame and uninspired. LOL! I should have known my suggestion was actually the “okay – go get one” that he had been waiting for.
Paranormal Book Releases For Next Week – 07/27/10 – 07/29/10
Wooohooo these all look awesome but there’s one on here that I’ve been waiting for (and it’s at the top of this list – Eternal Kiss of Darkness (Night Huntress World, Book 2). Mencheres!!! YAY (he’s an ancient ummm…I think Egyptian? vampire with TONS of amazing powers – he’s like the holy grail of vampires – oh wait…eeeek!!! Was that bad to say that?) I think I’ll have to watch for lightning strikes all day now…
Anyway here’s the list. If you know of more let me know and I’ll update. I dunno…the list looks a little short, so I think I’ll do some double checking and I’ll probably add to this list throughout the day.
