I just had a fun interview with two fun & fantastic authors! I chatted with both Kristen Ashley, author of uber-alpha, sexy bad boys like Tack from Motorcycle Man in her “Dream Man Series” and Natasha Anders, author of heartbreaking husbands like “Sandro” from The Unwanted Wife in her “Unwanted Series”.
We discussed angsty romance and those “heroes we hated before we loved.” LOL!! 😀 My favorite genre. These authors are known for their “alpha-jerks” (those that made us delightfully furious at first, but were so easy to love once we got through that hard exterior), so you can imagine how enlightening it was to get their perspective on this particular topic. 😉 What a blast!!
Check out the Kindle Love Stories blog post to listen to the interview.
PLUS! We’re having TWO giveaways today. One right here on my blog, for a $100 Amazon gift card, and another one for a Kindle Fire over at “Kindle Love Stories” (here is where you can enter the Kindle Love Stories contest for a chance to win the Kindle Fire HDX)
How to enter here for a chance to win the $100 gift card?
Just leave a comment below about your favorite book/book-hero that you “hated before you loved” and I will randomly select one commenter on Wednesday May 7th 2014 to win the $100 gift card!!
P.S. Open to anyone that can accept a gift card from Amazon! I’ll email the winner, and the winner has 48 hrs to respond (or I’ll choose another). 😀
I absolutely hated Sandro from The Unwanted Wife at first, but grew to love him in the end!
I couldn’t stand Tate from “Bully” but in the end I loved him.
Idk, Caleb from Captive in the Dark (Dark Duet) was pretty terrible. And, I hate to say this but I hated Bastian from Surviving Raine @ first but grew to love him. But, Dom from Monster has to be #1 on my list of hate @ 1st sight. I didn’t think I would EVER like him.
Tony from Consequences.
well, I hated trevor from Beautiful Disaster, he was a mess! but at the same time, I loved him!
[email protected]
Tony Rawlings. Ugh, did that character elicit hate/love feelings!
I hated Kade in the Kathleen Turner series but now am soooo torn between him and Blane. Cannot wait for book #5!!!!
I am just now re-reading Easy by Tammara Webber to get ready for the Breakable release tomorrow. I didn’t realize how much Lucas was a d**k at the beginning of this book. I know that I end up loving him, but he really wasn’t very nice.
I didn’t like Barrens at first but soon learned how much I love him! Fav book guy ever! (apart from Travis) 😉
Caleb from captive
I hated Caleb from Captive in the Dark!! Of course I also loved him!! haha
Jett in the Surrender Your Love series at first – by the beginning of the second book I was hooked!!!
OMG!!! It HAS to be Soren from the Original Sinners series. I hated, hated, hated that beast, and, whaddayakow… By the end of that series I would probably have married him. Go figure. He’s the baddest of the bad for me.
Caleb from Captive in the Dark.
I hated Caleb from The Opportunist but I started to love him with Thief!
Jared from Bully. Your heart hurt for him but at the same time you wanted to see him hurt for how he was treating Tatum.
Twitch from Raw…had me so mad at him thru most of the book and then bawling at the end ;( Redeemed himself in the end…
Caleb from Captive in the Dark, totally!
I really didn’t like Tate from Kristen Ashley’s Sweet Dreams at first. I was so mad when he made those comments about Lauren, but I forgave him and grew to love him. I have others that I never was able to forgive, Caleb from Captive was that way for me. I couldn’t get past what all he did.
Oh boy has to be Caleb from Captive in the dark. I wasn’t sure if I would get to the pint of even accepting him. I also kind of hated Tate from a Sweet Dreams and ended being a favorite.
Tony from Consequences/Truth/Convicted is a definite but Zsadist from the Black dagger Brotherhood series and Vincent from Sempre/Sempre Redemption need votes too! I definitely didn’t like any of these guys when I first “met” them!
Come to think of it Duece from Undeniable pissed me off plenty in the beginning and continued to for quite a while!!
I didn’t care for Cameron from Crow’s Row at first! Had to read more of the book before he got better.
Tony from Consequences!
In keeping with the spirit of this post, I’d have to say Sandro from The Unwanted Wife. He broke my heart, as well, but he certainly won it back.
drew from underestimated.OMG! he was a creeper. And then the impossible happened,I fell in love with him.
Ooh! I hated, HATED Tate Jackson…and then he apologized to Laurie and backed that up…then I loved him!
I have to say Caleb from The Dark Duet, it’s a hard read but I couldn’t help falling in love with him in the end.
This is likely an obvious answer. But I despised Christian Grey and learned soon to love love love him!
Caleb from Thief’s.
That’s a tough question. I can’t really think of anybody other than Christian Grey. Sometimes I loved him, and sometimes I despised him.
I would have to vote for Sandro as well. He was an absolute jerk in the beginning! But eventually we all fall in love with them..lol.
tate from sweetdreams
Great interview!!! I have to say Tony Rawlings <– JERK x 10000 but I still love him hehe 😉
Daemon from the Lux series. So mean to Kat at the beginning.
Mine is “On The Island” – I first read the premise and was completely turned off…after viewing all of the reviews, I thought I’d give it a shot…it took a bit, but I def fell in love with it <3
Hello Maryse ~
I have been hiding in the trees/shadows following your website for 2 years and not coming out. Now, you have this give-a-way that I cannot resist – like honey to a bee – or maybe better – bad boy / good (sort of) girl attraction. My favorite/hate book boyfriend has to be Deuce from Madeline Sheehan – “Undeniable”. What a douche canoe he is (was?)~~ I wanted to give up reading the book, since it took me to places in my mind that seriously made my stomach hurt. Then, Frankie was also in the picture and the things that happen with him were ‘Off The Chart’ – seriously. But, at the end of the day or er, book, Deuce came through and the books that followed (yes, I read them because I HAD to know how Eve was doing) made me love him. So this is my submission and I guess introduction to your world – albeit a little shy and late 🙂
Welcome to the group, jrpiggy! Better late than never. 😀
Tate from sweet dreams
Nathan from Breach by KI Lynn
Definitely Caleb from Captive but Bryce from a Husband’s Regret was way more if a jerk than Sandro and I loved him by the end…
Sebastian from “Surviving Raine”, I hated him and then..<3 <3
Tate from Sweet Dreams
One of my favorite hate then love hero has to be Tatum Jackson from Kristen Ashley’s book Sweet Dreams. When she overheard him call her a “sorry ass, old fat, suburban b&$@!h”. I wanted to reach through the book and rip his face off!!!!
Knight ..from Knight….Now I LOVE it!
Tony from concenquences
Thought long and hard on this and it would have to be Bastian from
“Surviving Raine”. He was the biggest jerk, had no redeeming qualities, actually he was a jerk the whole book, but there was just this small vulnerable part of him that just took my breath away !
Trey Coleman from Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright. He was huge A-hole at first, loved him by midway through.
Sebastian from Surviving Raine!!
I had a few of these types of guys and reading through your list, I think I just added to it. Since you’re interviewing KA, I’d have to say that Knight is in my top 1%(thinking there might be more than one in this small %-lol). Also, I’m reading A Husband’s Regret right now and liking it-at 75% and just finished KA’s Golden Dynasty story which was such a great surprise in its unique genre. Thank you for the GREAT giveaway:)!!
Knight by Kristen Ashley.., or any book by Kristen Ashley
Caleb from Captive in the Dark!
I have several guys on my kindle that I couldn’t stand early on, but I have to say that Drew from Underestimated took the cake. The mental and physical abuse was terrible, but he actually redeemed himself in the end.
I hated Anthony Rawlings from the Consequences series. I love him now!!
Tony from Consequences…..grrrrr. I have never even slightly hated any of the heroes from Kristen Ashley’s books. I say….the more alpha the better!! Great giveaway!
Warner from Shatter Me.
First one that came to mind was Tate from Sweet Dreams!
It’s got to be Caleb from captive in the dark
Probably Tate in Kristen’s book. Love him now though!!
I hated to love Q in “Tears of Tess”!
Mine is Tony from Consequences series. Kudos to Aletha Romig for making me go from absolutely despising a character to be rooting for him in three books!
Omg I hated Anthony from consequences but I loved him in a very hateful way. He was one of the characters that I couldn’t quite describe on an emotional level because he infuriated me so much. But I loved him for it! ohh and then there’s Caleb from captives and seduced in the dark boy I had so many mixed feelings towards him especially during the begging but he ended up clawing his way back in to my heart.
For me it would have to be Jared from Bully by the Amazing Penelope Douglas. I loathed him when I started the book, everything about him.
But I have to say I fell in love with him by the end of the book.
Has to be Mr. Tony Rawlings!
Bastian from Surviving Raine!
When I read At Peace(The Burg #2) from KA, I couldn’t stand Joe at first, and even considered dumping the book at 30%….
Now, At Peace stands as my most read book with Joe as a book Husband 😉
Caleb in the Dark Duet series. Ended up loving that guy.
Caleb of the Dark Duet series. I loathed him with a passion that absolutely consumed me. Then, miracle of miracles, I loved him. I remember waking my husband up in the middle of the night (when I finished Book 2) and told him I was suffering from a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome.
I absolutely hated Cam from Samantha Young’s “Down London Road” for a good chunk of the novel. He was so judgey and an overall jerk but I did end up totally loving him. Can’t resist a hot jerk for too long 😉
OK, ….I must be different because I loved Calab right from the start.
But my number #1 that I absolutely HATED was Styxx, but he is now one of my favorites 🙂
Tate! He was such a jerk 🙂
Deuce from Undeniable.
Without a doubt, Tony from Consequences!!!
I kind of thought Hawk was a dick in the beginning of Mystery man with his days of the week women he kept on deck. But by the end he won me over,
Sebastian from Surviving Raine by Shay Savage. It took a while for me to quit thing he was a disaster to thinking he was the rescue. Loved it!
I have to go with Tate from Sweet Dreams. I was so pissed at him in the beginning, but absolutely loved him much of the rest of the book.
I hated Q from Tears of Tess, but now I love him!
Gabe from Maya Bank’s ‘Rush’ – definitely!
Caleb from captive
I hated twitch from the book Raw for the first half but ended up loving him by the end of the book.
A couple of KA men ruffled my feathers but ended up in my heart. Tate, Knight, Joe. I realized that I love her books because I love to hate on her men and then absolutely fall in love with them. I am totally on the same ride as her female characters!
My pick is Joe from K.A.
For me, it would definitely be Sebastian Stark from Surviving Raine.
My favorite has to be Joe Callahan,”Cal” from Kristen Ashley’s At Peace. You went from thinking he was rude, emotionally disconnected and entitled, to falling completely in love with him. It was the first book I read from her and now I’m hooked. Reading The Will now.
Caleb from Captive in the Dark.
Lol,I am gonna have to say Caleb in Captive too….at least we all agree. Thanks!
Jesse Ward from This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas
Caleb from captive in the dark. But oh how I came to love him!
Without a doubt, Jesse Ward from This Man!!!!!!
I hated Tony from the Consequences series by Aleatha Romig. Book 1 had me hating Tony, and then loving him, just to end up hating him again. In Book 2 I continued to hate him, until I began to love him again. Book 3 didn’t have me as much on a roller coaster, I think I was still very much Team Tony throughout Book 3.
Soren from the Original Sinners books!! I actually stopped reading them after the first one because I was frustrated but then went back and loved them and love him!!
Tate, tony, Sebastian, Jared….hated/loved them all!!!!
Mine is Tony from Aleatha Romig’s Consequences series. I hated him in books one and two and SWORE he could never redeem himself. Damn if he didn’t do just that in book 3. I am not officially team Tony and cannot wait for the fourth book this month.
Odley enough I JUST read Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley and I freaking LOVED it! But dammit I hated Hawk in certain parts of the book and I thought the worst! But Kristen is an amazing writer and made me love him! I’m so glad…at the urgency of another author that I finally read this book! It appears now I’m going to have more alphas I hate to love thanks to the very talented Kristen!
Hate would be to strong a word but I wasn’t too fond of Tate from Sweet Dreams when I first met him. I think I gasped when we over hear him talking to Crystal that first day. Like Laurie it took me bit to let it go. By the end of the book he was one of my favorite heroes.
I didn’t think it was possible to love this guy after EVERYTHING he did, but Tony Rawlings made me love him! I didn’t want to do it, really didn’t want to do it!
I’m going to have to go with our very own Neighbor From Hell, Trevor from Perfection. He somehow manages to make being a chauvinistic a**hat charming. There is just something about a man that can make you laugh.
Jared in Bully. I normally either love the alpha all the way through (even if he infuriates me, or hate him all the way through (like Tony Rawlings). Jared is one of those rare exceptions. He was such a jerk, but when he realizes how bad he’s been, *sighs* 😀
I actually did not like Jesse from This Man in the beginning, but was absolutely in love with him by the 3rd book. He made me so mad by the way he treated Ava, but once you figured him out and finally found out why he was the way he was it was more understandable and you could not be mad at him. Thanks for the GA!!
Sculpt from With You by Nashoda Rose. I LOVED to HATE this character turning my hate into love was a tough order but Nashoda eventually pulled it off, personally I dint think she had a snowball’s chance in a steamy read location…but I do love❤️Sculpt!
Tony Rawlings from the Consequences series!
Has to be Jared from Bully
Sean Ferro from The Arrangement Series!
So many to chose from!!! Such a tough decision. Christian Grey from Fifty Shades would be my obvi answer..As well as Lahn from The Golden Dynasty. The first parts of those 2 books had me planning what would have been my “revenge” if i was the heroine, but soon had me swooning! I absolutely couldn’t STAND Cole from the Everneath series, but towards the end, he pulled me in. I cried so hard when he broke his “surface heart” knowing what would happen. =`[
Probably Søren from the Original Sinners Series (Tiffany Reisz): hard to love in The Siren, but so perfect as the following books tell us the rest of his story…
Barons from the Fever series. Tate from Sweet Dreams. Lahn from Golden Dynasty. Jarred in Bully, still not sure that turned to love though. Cal from At Peace in that scene… You know the one, standing at his car with that other woman!
Trent from Kim Harrison’s Hollows series.
Vlad from the Night Huntress / Night Prince by Jeaniene Frost.
Royce westmore comes to mind from a kingdom of dreams by Judith mcnaught. But Tate from sweet dreams was also an as;?$&)?. That book, I loved it. My motivation to run and swim and lose weight.
I gotta hand it to Vlad Tepish on Jeneniene Frosts series for Vlad. Vlad was so much a jerk in the first book not at all like the Cat and Bones series. Even in the second book he started off rocky and then like wow I love this guy. Waiting to see how this one plays out in January of 2015.
Hawk from Mystery Man (and Gwen at first) – that was just a messed up situation.
From the best KA book, and that’s saying something, Dax Lan. Terrible horrible, very bad … Oh wait … strong, smart, sexy, caring man like no other. Sigh.
Wow…so many to hate then love 😉 I am going to say Knight from Knight. I didn’t like him at first, then I loved him, but there is still a little something about him that didn’t totally fill my “Happy Ever After” glow so I am going to say Knight because after all this time that certain something is still bothering me and I keep hoping in some future book Ms. Awesome Ashley will fix it 😉
keatyn monroe but now I love her
I’ll have to say Tate from sweet dreams.
CaLeb from the Captive series.
I have to go with Sebastian from Surviving Raine.
Lahn from Golden Dynasty, oh I hated him, then I loved him. That was my favorite book in the series. BUT Soren from Original Sinners series I hated longer and while he has been redeemed in the series I still don’t love him, yet…
Caleb Drake from Thief by Tarryn Fisher. I thought he was mean and selfish but then in thee end I realized he is just scared.
Reading over some of the above comments, my TBR list just grew:)
But that’s ok, I love to read a good book. I am trying not to pick from someone already not picked. My pick is Horse from Reapers Property.
I wondered how I was going to like Lahn from the Golden Dynasty because he just took whatever he wanted. I loved the book, as I knew I would. It’s by KA. 🙂
I’m torn between 2 great stories that left me thinking for days. First is Calvin Parish from Hero and Sculpt from Tear Asunder series.
Tony from the Consequences series… I Hated him bad… Then love came
Caleb from Thief
I hated Tony from the Consequences series by Aleatha Romig. I think everyone did!! I grew to love him by the end of the series.
My TBR list is growing with these comments. So many bad boys I’ve missed. Most of KAs men. I would say Tack.
It took me several books before I liked Barons from the Fever series. Jarred in Bully was so awful it took most of the book before I could like him. I also NEVER thought I would like Dirty from Undeniable, but by the time he got his own book, I grew to care about him.
Tony Rawlings from the Consequences series!
Definitely Caleb from Captive in the Dark! I was scared to death of him, but totally fell for him!
I absolutely HATED Damon from the Lux series!!! But then I found myself dreaming of him often and fell madly in love!
this is from any of those books but even though I knew it was not his fault and horrible things happened to him that caused him to be that way,but I hated Zhadist from JR Wards series till almost to the end of Lover Awakened and I really really hated Qhuinn for the hell he put John thru but finally somewhat got over that, somehow JR always seems to have someone that I really hate for 2 or 3 books and then he finally redeems himself but its hard to wait sometimes for when you know you can forgive him
I initially hated Anthony (Tony) Rawlings from Consequences…but not for long!
Jared from Bully/Until You
I am a huge K.A. fan and she does such a great job of creating heroes that you don’t really like at the beginning of the story but absolutely love as the story moves on… Tate, Knight, Joe, Hawk, Lahn (the list just goes on and on)
I would have to say Bastian from Surviving Raine and Caleb from Captive in the Dark.
Just read Willing Victim by Cara McKenna and I kinda hated Flynn at first. He rejected the heroine at first *gasp* how rude. But her heroes always get me in the end. She writes the best blue-collar-real-tough guys. Wish she’d do some male POVs
Dex from EIT! I thought he was an ass at first but now I LOVE him! Best book boyfriend of all time! 🙂
Caleb from Captive In The Dark
Definitely Zhadist!! Hated him then OMG loved and wanted to snuggle with him!!!
Q from Tears of Tess
Trent from Kim Harrisons Hollows series!
A hero I hated before I loved…
CAM CABALLERO from Rachel Vincent’s Blood Bound.
I couldn’t stand his guts, but he won me over.
Dax Lahn from Golden Dynasty by KA.
Hated then loved Rush from The Rosemary Beach Series 🙂
KA is my ‘go-to” author. I have ALL of her books and LOVE them all equally! But, Hawk from KA’s book Mystery man would have to be my man that I hated, before I fell head over heels in love wit him!
There have been none I really hate, but many I really think are too arrorgent.
There have been several but the one that is fresh in my mind is Alaric Canon from The Plan. His character got me really fired up. He was such an arrogant, egotistical jerk. I actually shrieked while I was reading the part where Emma is being told she would be replacing his last assistant. After that I don’t know if I was more pissed or excited but I loved every minute of it. I especially liked that Canon’s character didn’t change. At the end he was still the same pompous jerk but once he fell for Emma he was no longer cruel. I think it added to her attraction towards him. It fueled their chemistry. I loved Alaraic Canon and hated him with the same intensity.
Your killing us Maryse LOL, there is several ……Sebastian from Surviving Raine by Shay Savage., Caleb from Capitve in the Dark; one fresh in my mind because I just finished reading it, Holden from Beautiful Ink by Nicole Reed (although a part of me still hates him but….. something he does might outweigh all his bad…. maybe I am still thinking on it LOL)
Jesse Ward in the This Man trilogy. Hated him, then LOVED him. Thanks for the amazing giveaway!!
Caleb from Dark Duet or Bastian from Surviving Raine.
Tony Rawlings/ Consequences
Caleb from Captive in the dark
Drew from Underestimated
Tate Jackson – weight comments ALWAYS cross the line, but he did enough to redeem himself and let us get past it. (thank goodness!)
I will agree with the lady’s and say Caleb from Captive in the Dark
There is moments where I would have trown the book to the wall! But since it was on the e-reader…. hehe
Thank you for the give away and love your site. Reading many of your recommendation.
I HATED Anthony Rawlings from Consequences by Aleatha Romig! Midway through Truth I was eating out of the palm of his hand!
I couldnt stand Dex from EIT series-then he got all sensitive and awesome and I fell for him even harder than I thought I already had when he was a jerk. :o)
Dain from Lord of Scoundrels.
For me it would have to be Bastian from Surviving Raine.
Hands down Sebastian Stark from Surviving Raine. He started off as such an alcoholic jerk. But turned out to be something more. 🙂
I really hated Logan from Try by Ella Frank, but definately got over that! 🙂
most definitely Tony from Consequences!! No one else comes nearly as close!
Tony from consequences,
Has to be Christian – 50 shades. My all time favorite, or maybe not ALL TIME because I do love all the Alpha’s in Kristen’s books. But the more we got to really know and understand Christian the better it got. Hated to see the end of that story! 🙁
Well, when Tack kicked Tyra out of bed at the very beginning of Motorcycle Man, I thought he was a serious a$$. I very quickly changed my mind though *swoon*.
Tony from consequences was just evil for a lot of the book, oh my gawd, the things he put Claire through. I think I will have to go with him!
Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind. It all started with him, really. 🙂
Apollo Ulfr from KA’s BROKEN DOVE. “Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it and not want it.” So heartbreaking and such a jerk, but a grieving jerk
Tack from Motorcycle Man…when Tyra shows up for her first day at work and he’s sucking face with the MC ho…I wanted her to knee him in the gonads…..
I hated then LOVED Ty from Lady Luck by KA. Although several of her characters fall into this catagory for me! She seems to always be able to pull such emotion from her readers. She is an Amazing author!
Looks like I need a date with this Caleb guy…seems I’m the only who doesn’t know who he is. But if I’m going with a KA alpha, my absolute favorite is Hawk and yeah, I was pretty ticked with him for messing around for so long (him and his days-of-the-week women), but beyond that, he really is pretty stinkin’ perfect and he admitted (several times) that he regretted missing out so that helped ;).
DREW from Underestimated by Jettie Woodruff. He was awful in Underestimated but luscious in Underestimated Too. Love him and his roughness. Yummmmm!
Tack from KA’s series
Warner from the Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi.
Zsadist and Rhage from BDB… I also strongly disliked Christian Grey at first, but my biggest hate/love book relationship was (is!) with Gideon Cross, from Sylvia Day’s Crossfire series… What a d**k he was and what a dream he now is!
Valentine Roth
I hated Rule Archer but grew to love him in the end! Such a good book
Drew from Underestimated is my hate/love hero…
Tack from Motorcycle Man–swoon! Such an A**, but then I loved him! Favorite book!
Hunter from Wanderlust by Skye Warren. One seriously messed up guy.
I would have to say Jaxon from R. J.Lewis Ignite.
Arsen!
It’s a toss up between Drew from Tangled and Matt from Night Owl. Both total jerks to start off until you figured out why they were that way. **Sigh** I love me some damaged men, lol!!
I really hated Jack from the Avoiding Series, until the end then I ended up loving him. I think he did save Lexi in the end. In a round about way. Ha.
Don’t know any like that
Definitely Tony from the Consequences series !
I would have to go with Tack or Hawk, might be a toss up for me! Ugh…sigh…swoon…
I would have to say Jared from Penelope Douglas’ book “Bully”. I felt Tate’s pain all through the book, but by the end I understood Jared and why he did the things he did. I definitely hated Jared in the beginning, but slowly grew to love him. Bullying is driven a lot of times by peer pressure, but the root core is really insecurity. I think we all have a “Bully” in our lives, and they can take any form – male, female, boss, friend.
I wasn’t a big fan of Barrons from the fever series at first. Now every time I read the series I fall a little bit more in love with him.
Tony from Consequences and Barrens
Tate from Sweet Dreams
With the new Rosemary Beach novel out Rush is on my mind. I hated Rush at first.
Caleb from Captive in the Dark…hated, then loved. 🙂
Um, Jared from Bully off the top of my head. Caleb from Captive in the Dark but I love him so much now I’ve forgotten that at one point he made my stomach turn.
I’m ashamed to say this, but I could never really hate Tony (Consequences) because I was always hoping he’d redeem himself. I came close a few times though.
Jared from Bully! And a new one, Camden from Bender by Stacy Borel.
Jahleel in Jahleel by S. Ann Cole comes to mind. I kept putting off reading that book because I knew I had to prepare myself for an emotional roller coaster. It did not disappoint. I hated Jahleel in the beginning of the book but he grew on me towards the end. I really felt for the heroine.
Sinjin from the Jolie Wilkins books. Despised him at first and now I can’t get enough!!
I can’t recall off the top of my head any characters that I hated in the beginning and then loved. But I have lots of characters I loved in the beginning and wound up hating in the end.
Wow there are so many! But they’re the best ones. It’s better if they have to convince me, I mean the heroine, of their affections. Lol Alessandro from the unwanted wife was someone who had to work extra hard. He made me cry, bastard 😉
Caleb from the dark duet.
Definitely Twitch from RAW
Anthony Rawlings, no doubt. He was a asshat from page 1 and I fell in love with him after a longgggggggg hate relationship! Love Alethea Romig and the Truth, Consequences and Convicted Series is a MUST READ!!!
Kiera from the Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephans
I’ve been on a Kristen Ashley kick these last couple of weeks, reading a new one and several I had never read in the past. Just read The Will, The Gamble, Mystery Man, Wild Man, and reading Law Man right now. Going to read Sweet Dreams and Lady Luck next. Nobody can write an alpha like Kristen Ashley. Wasn’t sure about Tack at the beginning of Motorcycle Man, but loved him by the end. Wasn’t sure about Knight at the beginning of Knight, but loved him by the end. Kristen Ashley is just simply awesome.
When I first read Consequences, Book 1 of the Consequences Series by Aleatha Romig, I despise Anthony Rawlings and had no idea where this series was going to take me. The Series ended up becoming one of my all time favorite series, and the author, Aleatha Romig, somehow redeemed a character that was irredeemable! I was awed!
Caleb from captive.
Definitely Barrens! Sometimes I’m still confused as to why I like him.
I didnt like Twitch at all in the beginning of Raw. His way of thinking and what he did and was going to do was horrible. Than u fall in love with him and the story. This book DEFINITELY NEEDS A SEQUEL!!!!
Most recent would have to say Jahleel from Jahleel (Love all wrong). 😉 Thanks!
Ugggh I hate/love Tony Rawlings. I have never flipped flopped so much with a character before. Reading behind his eyes has started the hate process all over again.
Hawk
Tony from Consequences stands out for me. Not so sure he was one I ended up liking though. Right now I’m reading Love, In English and I love Mateo but having trouble with the adultery thing so put that one down…not liking him too much right now.
Tate is the most memorable!
I hate/love Tony Rawlings.!!!!!!!!!
I hated Tony Rawlings before I loved him.
I have to say Tony from Consequences. .. wasn’t until the last book that I sort of liked him lol
There are sooooooooo many. I will go with Dax Lahn (Golden Dynasty). I love/hate him so much that I’ve read that book four times. Thanks for posting the question. As I look over the comments, I see many of the books that I have read, but several that I haven’t. Now I have a slew of books to read over the long hot summer.
At first, I was going to say Tony Rawlings from the Consequences series. However, I realized I still didn’t love him in the end. I just didn’t hate him as much. And that says a lot considering how cruel he was in the beginning. So, I have to go with Caleb from Captive in the Dark. I easily did a total 180 with him.
Like many others, Tate from Sweet Dreams. Also Jesse, from this Man trilogy by Jody Ellen Malpas.
Anthony Rawlings from Truth & Convicted Series……!!!! This would be an amazing birthday gift!
Caleb
I hated Solomon in the Lexi Graves series and was team Adam-until I wasn’t!! Love Solomon so much now!!!
I’m currently reading Under Locke by Mariana Zapata. DEX definitely fits this category!
Has to be Caleb from Captive in the Dark!
