Some of our crew prefer the lower angst romance books (and are not necessarily rip-your-heart-out/who-knows-how-it-will-end book-adrenaline junkies like a few of us are. lol Ahem. *blink blink*)

So for those that need a little break from stress, maybe this list will do it for ya! Melinda was inspire by Fabi’s “favorites” list, and so she submitted hers, too. She even once told us: “I don’t like sad books that feel like your stomach is in knots.

Melinda: Maryse, this right down my alley. As well as the rest. Haha Here’s my very quick list:

There’s a few a found quickly. Love these lists.

Oh thank you for sharing this list Melinda and Maryse. Just my style of books ;) I’m not a mass fan of ones that are too angsty – I get too sucked in and too upset. And I haven’t read all of these ones so there’s some I need to check out STAT! Sweet!

I’m trying to think of favs of mine you could add to that list. Maybe Kulti by Mariana Zapata, and also The Wall Of Winnipeg and Me. Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren. See Jane Score, an oldie but still goodie from Rachel Gibson. Sustained by Emma Chase. Truly by Ruthie Knox. J.C. and the Bijoux Jolies by Katy Regnery – I loved that one.

OK, I could probably go on and on, but I’m stopping now. But these are my kinda books. I’d love to hear more suggestions.

*skips away to check out Melinda’s recs*

Thanks Melinda. I have a low tolerance to angst too. Read many of these and loved them but there’s a couple of new ones too. ;)

I’ll be posting your list next, Jan (next Saturday). It seems low-angst recommendations are highly coveted. ;)

OK I’ll add a few more: Hollywood Dirt by Alessandra Torre. One of the better books about a Hollywood star IMO. He meets his match in a lovely Southern gal. (This one is gonna be a movie soon, I think!)

Play by Kylie Scott. Sweet and funny rock star romance. Mal is hilarious and gorgeous.

Wrecking Ball by P. Dangelico. Lovely slow-burn romance.

The Chocolate Touch by Laura Florand. Oh Dominique, I’m in love with you…… I like her other series as well – La Vie en Roses. There is a new book out in that series that’s sitting at the top of my tbr :)

Wrong by Jana Aston. Cute, sweet, funny. A student falls in love with an older guy, her gynaecologist! But it turns out they fit together really well.

First Lady by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. A few years old now, but a great read. The widow of the President goes on a crazy, secret road trip to escape her life, and finds love along the way. I liked this one.
