Hi Yvette. It is actually a “spin-off’ from a series, and can be read alone, but the actual series is SO good, and you get to know the main character (in this book) and his importance throughout.

After reading your review, this is going on my TBR list. Is Eternal Kiss of Darkness a stand alone, or should it be read as part of the Night Huntress series? I couldn’t quite tell.

Liked Shade, but never crazy about Denise although to her credit she kicked butt in the end. What I liked is all the different character and so looking forward to Ian’s story. Enjoyed series from the start.

I didn’t buy into Spade and Denise’s love…at all.

The whole demon thing was ok, and I loved Ian! But Denise and Spade were not good together (in my opinion!)

She is!! I totally lucked out when my husband found her books at Walmart right after I finished the whole Anita Blake series, and was jonesing for more vamps. I was so new to the whole genre, and this was (and still is) one of my favorite series to date.

She is one of the authors that I can mention to my husband and he immediately remembers the “Cat and her panties” scenes…you’ll see… and laugh like crazy!
