About book #1
Centuries before he was a badass vampire with a rock-star wardrobe and Big Easy charm, Ren was Renauldo D’Antoni, a composer on the verge of great success until he was betrayed. No one could ever know that, but tonight, the shy strawberry blonde with the big eyes and obviously borrowed outfit actually seemed to recognize his long-lost composition. Now, she wants to know about the composition, and Ren wants to know her…intimately. But what starts as attraction–and distraction–just might lead to the biggest discovery of their lives…

I’m a young adult and this really helps me because I finished Twilight Series and I read Morganvilles, Trueblood and I’m reading all the books you have recommended so thanks!
Thank you!!!! I was just like you after Twilight (I can’t believe how wrapped up got with a teenage romance) and luckily found The Black Dagger Brotherhood which I’m reading now. I was so worried about where to go next and am thrilled that I found your wedsite to guide me. We seem to have the same tastes. Thank you!!!!
Hey Beverly! I hope you like these, too!! 🙂
This series was excellent! Read Bourbon street vampires first and then move on to the Young brothers. They kind of go together since the Impalers show up in the young brother books toward the end. Hope she writes more soon!!! I would definitely read more of her books.
Hey Kristen! That’s exactly how I read ’em. These first, then the brothers. Awesome books!
Questions: Where does Truth or Demon fall into the reading order? #5 in the Bourbon Street series.
Kathy Love really needs a better website. It’s so confusing to follow the book order.
Thanks
Hi Julie! It’s her latest one in that series (listed as #5) I’ve added it 🙂
I actually read the Young Brothers first bc they came out first and then had to wait for these Bourbon Street ones. So even though the Impalers show up in the Young Brothers near the end I dont think they have met their girls yet so if the Bourbon series was to be read before they would have their girls in the Young Brothers. Anyhow I do have one bone to pick about the Bourbon series since I just happened to read them so closely together I found a huge mistake between book 3 and 4 which I cant believe anyone didnt find it before book 4 was published. *********** SPOILER DONT READ UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO ****************
At the end of book 3 Jo is going to have a girl that they are going to name Kara. In book 4 she’s still pregnant and rushing to the hospital. When they have the baby its a boy that they name Barrett. So I wonder maybe this is a second child but no it’s not it’s the one that is not Maksims and there is no mention of a Kara or that opps the doctors made a mistake thinking it was a girl in book 3. Kinda bugs me bc the part of book 3 was the fact that Jo was haunted by Kara and when Jo finally came to terms with being pregnant she felt like she was having a girl and at the end her hunch was right.
