Hi Laurell I am a huge fan of both the Anita Blake series and Meredith Gentry. I just finished the last book for Meredith Gentry and I am wondering if there is going to be anymore books in this series? If so when will the next one be published? I can’t wait!! You are AWESOME!!

Hi Patricia! I hear there will be one, but she has been working mostly on Anita these days. I will keep an eye out and hopefully will have some good news soon.

I am a HUGE fan of both the Anita Blake and the Merry Gentry series. I just finished Divine Misdemeanors and I hate getting to the last published book in a series and not knowing when the next book will come out. I love, love these series and would seriously be very sad if they ended. I would love it if I could be notified of the next release dates of both these series. Thank you so much and thanks to Laurell K. Hamilton for some truly enjoyable reads. Misty

Hi Megan! Yes it looks like there will be. In fact, Laurell just recently posted this on her Facebook, this month:
“I’ve never had non-lead characters so loud in my head before. Merry’s men – Doyle, Rhys, and even more obscure characters are talking to me more than ever before.Could it be not writing for so long has opened me up to more view points?”
I’m a huge fan of both your series’. Can’t wait to read “Hit List”. But I was wanting to know what is next for Merry ? When does her next book come out? Can’t wait to read it. I look forward to your books when they come out.
I’m about to read book 7 of Merry’s story. I don’t want these to end. Can’t wait for the next Anita novel to come out.

I accidentally read the books out of order, so I read them all again and her novels still have the same effect on me! I cant wait till number 9 and more of Anita! I heard a rumor that they might try to make Anita Blake a movie? Oh I sure do hope so!

For all of us waiting with bated breath…I started listening to the books on CD with Kim Alexis reading Anita’s travels and Laural Merlington reading the Merry series. I am really enjoying my return to the Courts and suggest others follow my lead. It makes the waiting easier. This is my first experience with Audio and am so glad I have discovered this medium.. Doyle s accent is divine as are all the men in the Unseelie Court.

Audible has them in file format so you don’t néed the CDs. Just finished reading (listening) to the last one and like everyone else I’m waiting for more. I know there are a few more books to get out of the series!
I believe shes working on a Merry book right now. I follow her on facebook I know shes writing something and its not Anita. I soo hope its another Merry book!

I love Luarell she is my favorite author. Anita is fantastic and Merry is amamzing. She writes wonderful female empowerment books. I can wait for the new Merry do we have any idea when it will be?
If you’ve never read any of Anne Bishop’s Black Jewels series – WOW!! That’s what started me down the whole dark and shadowy paradise of these writers!
