I’m so surprised you haven’t read any of the Anne Rice’s books. They are such classics
and are incredibly well written. They were what got me started in my interest in vampire books. Some of the them are so vividly & descriptively written you can see them & feel them as you read them. Even more than J.R. Ward’s books they are the very best I have read!

Hi Teresa! One of my close friends adores the series, and was very enthusiastic when she recommended it to me. I fully intend to get to them.

I was just wondering what series you would recommend that is closest to Lyndsay Sands series. I love hers and would like to start another on like it.
Thank you in advance.

LOVE LOVE LOVE BDB! :) :)
It’s hot and romantic. The series is everything I woman could want in a book!
Yes, there are some other good ones, but I’m still stuck on this is my favorite series!

Wondering why Wrath isn’t ever anyone’s favorite brother? Including me! Wondering what it is about him? Any thoughts?

Maryse November 26, 2011 at 10:50 PM

I adore Wrath.. He’s my #2 and was my # 1 pretty much till Z’s book. Maybe it’s cause he seems untouchable. The king. Who’s your fav, Leslie?

Have you read the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. It is by far my favorite series. You get the depths of emotion the same as with the vampire academy books but with more of a grown up twist. Im also really into the Psy/changling series and the guild hunter series, both by Nalini Singh at this moment. Also Larissa Ione’s Lords of Deliverance series is a must.

Just wondering if you have read the Blood Brothers Trilogy by Nora Roberts. It is the best series I have read so far other than Maggie Shayne’s Immortal Witches. I was utterly devastated when it ended and think that I will definitely read it again :)

Hi Maryse,

Im definately going to recommend the Mercy Thompson series by Patrica Briggs. She also has a spin off called Alpha and Omega.
Its absolutely BRILLIANT.
Also try Cassandra Palmer series by Karen Chance with a spin off Dorina Basarab.
And lastly the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.

All kick-ass heroines, love triangles, funny as hell books.
