This news list is LONG today but SO worth it. TONS of great news came my way over the last few days, and I’ve rounded ’em up right here. Keep checking back as I will keep adding to it throughout the day. VERY EXCITING stuff!!! Like…
Kim Jones just released her latest biker book! Devil’s Love is now live and can be read as a standalone, and features a heroine that has been raised by the club since she was a little girl, and she now has her eyes on one of the members… and the author says:
“Three years ago you met them.
Now you get their story.”
“…my assistant accidentally mailed it.
Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye.
When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear of him. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me.
But I didn’t…”
Jessica Park just revealed her gorgeous cover of her upcoming book, 180 Seconds about a girl who’s been a foster all of her young life and knows not to depend on anyone or let anyone close, except…
…One unsuspecting afternoon, Allison is roped into a social experiment just off campus. Suddenly, she finds herself in front of a crowd, forced to interact with a complete stranger for 180 seconds. Neither she, nor Esben Baylor, the dreamy social media star seated opposite her, is prepared for the outcome…
Katy Evans just put Ladies Man on super-bargain sale right now!!! So many in our crew LOVED it! AND it CAN be read as a standalone!!
Robyn: Just finished Ladies Man! Oh Boy, am I in love with that book. It had me squeeing on every page. It was an angsty and filled with everything you could want in a romantic book! I need more books like this
Anne: Finished Ladies Man and loved it!! They connected on every level before starting a physical one and thats why it was so good! It was beautifully written. You can actually feel what they were feeling and thats what I look for in a book. I can honestly say this is my favorite book from Katy. Sorry Remy lol!
Colleen Hoover has TWO BIG AWESOME NEWSES. <— *snort* Well… what? It’s not just one news. It’s TWO news. Newses. 😛 Okay my corniness is out (I just had to), and now onto the news. In all of her awesome hilariousness, you should read this post about her latest release, It Ends with Us: A Novel – one of my FAVORITE books of the year and of all time – my review – (but she basically says):
“…I’ve been super excited to announce a new project I’ve been working on with director Triston P. Pullen. We are creating a play based on the bestselling novel! It will premiere next summer in Sulphur Springs, Tx, on a slightly smaller stage than Broadway….
Colleen Hoover also announces that her free read that she wrote on Wattpad, “Too Late” (that so many LOVED but said it was SO different for her… and on the “dark” side – VERY mature!!!). In fact Pia says: “I simply love this story. It is so intense and if I have to compare it to another book it must by Ricochet by Keri Lake. Not the same storyline but just as intense and angsty. Asa, the heroin, is just so bad – I mean really really bad in a bad way. I cannot say it often enough – read it read it read it ” BUT!!! It will no longer be available on Wattpad, however it WILL soon be available on Amazon. AND she now has signed print copies available for purchase here (which I will ABSOLUTELY be ordering a copy of!!!!). She also says it’s the longest book she’s ever written. You can read the whole announcement here, but I though I’d post a quick tidbit:
“*Too Late is currently only available as a free book on Wattpad and in my author Facebook group, Colleen Hoover’s CoHorts. It will be temporarily removed starting tonight from these sites as it takes a nomadic journey across different platforms over the next year.
*It will be available as a signed paperback this week as a preorder on my website and will be available later this month for free in Kindle Unlimited. While it is in KU, it will not be available on any other platform. But depending on reader feedback over the next few months, I will then possibly move it to other platforms.
*The book has been slightly edited, but will essentially be the same story that was uploaded as it was written to Wattpad. Just with less errors.
….
My novels are all very different from one another, but they do all have a similar appeal and feel. TOO LATE does not fit that same appeal and feel, so for this reason, I will not be publishing it under Colleen Hoover. It will be under my initials, C. Hoover…”
ECHO ALERT! I just checked and the ECHO is still on SALE!! I LOVE MY ECHO. “She” reads to me when I’m doing housework or cooking! Regular ebooks (not only audiobooks – and she reads good!!! LOL!) I received her for my birthday (my sister and mom took advantage of the big Prime Day sale back in July) but today? They are even cheaper! HOLY. MOLY. ➔ P.S. The Certified Refurbished Amazon Fire TV Stick (Previous Generation – 1st) is on sale too! And I have this and I LOVE it!
JoAnne: Wait, WHAT? It can read ebooks?! Seriously?
Heather: I am asking the same thing!
Maryse: Yes it can!!! Well, those purchased from Amazon in your Kindle library. And her voice and intonation is actually really good!! She has expression (not so weirdly robotic). …I just asked her “Alexa, read Girl Underwater” and she said… reading from Kindle… and she picked RIGHT UP where I left off, this morning.
JoAnne: Jaw dropped. I spend a lot of money on Audible books and adding Whispersync to my Kindle books!
Maryse: She’ll play your audiobooks too.
Robin: I agree! Alexa is awesome. Possessed at times, but awesome 😀
Maryse: LOL!!! Yeah… when she starts answering the TV in the middle of the night ’cause you forgot to turn it off… EEEEP! LOL!
Renee: Oh my I just asked Alexis to read a book from my kindle and she did. So awesome. Now I can exercise or clean and still be able to read a book. Love it.
Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition <— WHAT WHAT WHAT!!??? Yes okay, NOT officially book news, but my Facebook feed was SWARMING with author and reader excitement when a VERY limited number of classic Nintendos were released yesterday (or was it Friday). *sigh* Either way, only a precious few were able to get one (long lines everywhere), and even Amazon sold out immediately. That said… Amazon assures us that will be receiving more. 😀 So if you’ve been wanting one, there’s still a chance! “Please note, we have very limited quantities of this item, however we will be receiving additional quantities over the coming weeks. We will announce when additional inventory becomes available.”
Patricia: fingers crossed that i can nab myself one 😉 mommy deserves a gift from santa too! lol
Rhiannon: I had one in my cart, went to pay, and it was no longer available. It took 10 seconds! They had a limited number at 5pm EST on Friday and it sold out by 5:05pm. After the site crashed 12 times!
Maryse: I read that so many were SUPER FAST with the order process (when still “in stock”) and STILL missed their chance once they tried to finalize payment. GAH!!!
Leisa Rayven just announced TWO BIG NEWS DETAILS!!! First, her upcoming SERIES BUNDLE – Starcrossed, the Complete Series: Bad Romeo; Broken Juliet; Wicked Heart (The Starcrossed Series) will be releasing just in time for Christmas!! AND!! Her upcoming Christmas book Bad Romeo Christmas: A Starcrossed Anthology will be LIVE in just a few days!! She says:
“If you haven’t yet jumped onboard the Starcrossed bandwagon, you can get ALL 3 E-BOOKS in this special Christmas bundle for far less than if you buy them all individually. Woohoo! You can even gift it to that friend you’ve been trying to get to read the series for AGES, then you can buddy-read BAD ROMEO CHRISTMAS. Even better!”
Lauren Blakely proudly announces her latest cover reveal of her upcoming steamy romance release, The Hot One!!! Yep. I must say that I do agree with that title. Tee hee!!
“At first glance, stripping naked at my ex-girlfriend’s place of work might not seem like the brightest way to win her back…”
USA Today featured some of our favorite recent Indie book releases in a “swoon worthy passages” article (basically… some of the most highlighted passages in these books)!! We know I’m a HIGHLIGHT fanatic, so I can totally relate to this post! 😉 Featured: Written in the Scars, A Love Letter to Whiskey (my review), Punk 57, The Air He Breathes, Black Swan Affair (my review).
ALSO featured on USA Today was THIS article (written by Rachel Blaufeld) about two very recent releases featuring broken characters (Blow: A Virtuous Paradox Novel and Black and White Flowers (The Real SEAL Series Book 1). Rachel says:
“So when I see a story with a broken character, I can’t help but want to dive into the pages and put him/her back together. These are some of my most favorite reads. The ones where I want to cry or scream or yell for someone to figure it all out.”
Debra Anastasia reveals the cover (and some wonderful personal details) for her upcoming book, For All The Evers (which is now up for preorder). The synopsis is so heartwarming and beautiful. And there’s a reason for that. She says:
“Coming on December 18th is a book that I’ve been working on for two years. It’s to honor a man in my family that gave his life for his country on the last day of World War 2. He was almost home– almost done with the fighting after six years of service.
I realized that my readers are so generous with their hearts that this man who had just a few people left to remember him could maybe find a place in my trusted readers’ memories as well. You are my most heartfelt gift to my uncle. I used his name in this fiction time travel romance so that maybe there would be positive energy sent his way over seventy years after his death.”
“The handwritten words on my new cover are actually from a letter that my uncle sent home in WW2.”
Cherrie Lynn, one of my favorite authors from my early indie/new-adult days has a new book coming out!! FIGHTER ALERT!! Raw Deal (Larson Brothers) and OH WOW this one sounds intense!!! He killed her brother in a cage match, but then he shows up to the funeral…
“When Mike shows up at the funeral, he’s nothing like Savannah expected. Gone is the fierce, brutal beast she’s seen in the cage. In his place is a beautiful man torn with guilt, seeking forgiveness, and willing to do anything to ease her pain.
Her family doesn’t approve, but her heart doesn’t stand a chance…”
Jana Aston‘s AUDIOBOOK for “Wrong” is now LIVE!!! She says:
“FINALLY!!! WRONG AUDIO!!! I think it should “Whispersync“ or whatever that is so that you can buy it cheap if you own the ebook. Not sure how long that will take though.”
BOOK BARGAIN FINDS:
- Only Trick by Jewel E. Ann <— SO MANY LOVED THIS ONE and it’s super bargain priced today!! Okay yeah, I just one-clicked this one ’cause Celeste and I have VERY similar book tastes, and if she’s nuts for it, chances are, I will be, too! 😀
Celeste: I read Only Trick by Jewel E. Ann the other day – I couldn’t put it down. I liked the first half better than the second – the sexual tension was off the charts, and it’s difficult to maintain that, of course, once a couple’s ‘together’, but really, you have to read this one!
- Vérité (Love At Center Court Book 1) by Rachel Blaufeld <— HER PROFESSOR BROKE HER HEART… and then he helped put her back together again. And!! It’s SUPER BARGAIN PRICED today!!!
Barely hanging on by a thread and using the most absurd coping skills, I was determined to hide behind my past indiscretions. That was, until I met Tiberius Jones. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d learn the truth about love from a six-foot-five basketball player.
- Box Set: Rescue Me Saga, Books 1-3 by Kallypso Masters <— MILITARY/BDSM ALERT! super-bargain sale this weekend! Author says: “Who needs an escape from it all today? Here’s some good news! My Box Set: Rescue Me Saga, Books 1-3 is on sale through Veterans Day weekend… This set includes the introduction to the saga, Masters at Arms, and 3 FULL-LENGTH novels–each with a HEA.”

- The Dark Protectors Box Set: Books 1-4 by Rebecca Zanetti <— First 4 books bundled at an awesome price!
- My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga <— SOUNDS HEARTWRENCHING (SUICIDE PACT?) and it’s super-bargain priced today! bev is excited! “My Heart and Other Black Holes…..yes!! Have had my eye on this one for a long time.”
Sixteen-year-old physics nerd Aysel is obsessed with plotting her own death. With a mother who can barely look at her without wincing, classmates who whisper behind her back, and a father whose violent crime rocked her small town, Aysel is ready to turn her potential energy into nothingness.
There’s only one problem: she’s not sure she has the courage to do it alone. But once she discovers a website with a section called Suicide Partners, Aysel’s convinced she’s found her solution—Roman, a teenage boy who’s haunted by a family tragedy, is looking for a partner.

Get Maryse’s Book Blog updates delivered by email (you’ll get one daily email that will have each post from that day consolidated on it).
Planning a road trip to Sulphur Springs to see CoHo’s play next summer if anyone wants to tag along! Hoping to back it up to the retreat!
Eeeeeep!! I hope I can GO!!!
I am there no matter what, Maryse! Let’s do this!! If you’re up for a road trip…Waco is on the way 😀
Anyone who wanted the Nes Classic, they will flood the market for black Friday. Nintendo did the same with the Wii and WiiU.
This is good info Tessa!!! I hope that’s true. Make for a lot of happy Christmas gift receivers.
Perfect time for y’all to read Bad Romeo/Broken Juliet!! Together they read like one loooooong book but it’s totally worth it. And I’m so happy to see My Heart and Other Black Holes is still on sale for those of us who enjoy dark YA stories. 😀
I don’t care that Too Late isn’t free on Wattpad anymore…I’ll gladly pay for anything by CH. 😉
A few deals I found:
Room by Emma Donoghue is 2.99 (didn’t you love that one, Maryse?)
See Me by Nicholas Sparks is 3.99 (normally 9.99)
A History of Glitter and Blood by Hannah Moskowitz is 1.99 (sounds like a Fae book for any PNR lovers out there…normally 13.99!)
Oooh I have Bad Romeo on my TBR! And Room!
I really liked the first half of Too Late, but then it lost me. But I’m not a good person to use as a CoHo judge. I’m typically opposite everyone else.
Sooooo…I start my new job tomorrow. EEEP!! I’m nervous as all he!! but excited, too. The downside is I’ll be driving at least 45 minutes each way (longer if traffic is bad), so I’m going to give audiobooks a try on the drive and see how they work for me. I’ve been resistant before because it’s just weird (for me) to hear a story in someone else’s voice, but maybe that will change with this yucky commute I have in front of me.
All the more reason to snatch up an ECHO, right? Thanks Maryse for posting that deal!!!
But $20 for the set is steep for me if I’m not familiar with the author. May have to do Bad Romeo by itself to start.
Congrats and good luck Amy! Amazon totally needs to come out with Echo for the car!
R…BR and Broken Juliet (I’m so not using the initials for the latter *snort*) are SO freaking good. Angsty and made my heart ACHE!! It can seem a bit drawn out as the second book picks up immediately where the first leaves off, but as long as you know that going in you should be fine. And the back and forth between past and present definitely worked in them.
Thanks for the congrats!! 😀
Congratulations Amy!
So far I have only had success with a non fiction book in audio. I love podcasts though.
I have A History of Glitter and Blood just haven’t gotten to it yet.
Even though I read Too Late on Wattpad, I just ordered a signed copy. One of her best books as a Christmas gift for my self. I will gladly pay 25$ in shipping fee ( to Denmark) 🙂
Thanks bev!!
Let me know if you read Glitter and Blood…I’ve never heard of it, but I’m clicking it because I can’t pass up that deal.
I’m curious and hesitant about that book, Amy. Just take a deep breath and be yourself. Jitters stink but soon it will be normal. I hope you have a great group of people to work with.
Hope you love your new job, Amy.
Maryse that’s a pretty good list again today. But so many teasers that aren’t out yet 🙁 I love the cover of 180 Seconds, and the blurb looks pretty interesting. But not out till April??? Boo hoo.
Congrats Amy!!!
I’ve listened to many audiobooks; one that I think was better b/c I was listening was That Boy. There are 3 books in the series and it’s complete. Not much angst-except book 3.
One-clicked Sweet Cheeks. I’ll get Too Late when it’s on KU later this month and it’s a big tease to get notice of a book when it’s not being released for months- 180 seconds!!!
I just found a few major freebies.
Hollywood Husbands by Jackie Collins. (Original price 32.99….right now free!)
Forever & Always – The Ever Series book 1 by Jasinda Wilder (original price 14.29…right now free!)
Some Sort of Happy (Skylar and Sebastian): A Happy Crazy Love Novel (normally 14.99…you guessed it free right now)
Priest: a Love Story by Sierra Simone, regular price 3.99… Right now… Nada!
Manaconda by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot (99 cents normally)
Bait by M. Mabie (13.28 normally)
Eversea by Natasha Boyd (13.99 regular price)
Betrayal – Infidelity Book 1 by Aleatha Romig (9.99 regular price)
Happy Sunday!
Congrats Amy!!! We knew you’d find something quick after you finished your training!
Grey, I hope you’re doing better and I hope you’re nano-rocking-it now. <3
Congrats Amy! It’s always exciting to start a new job!!!!
OK ladies….just want to share *ya’ll know how excited I get about some books*….a definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me!!!!!
LOVED Girl Underwater!!!! To My understanding – this is Ms Claire Kells first novel…and it was a GRANDSLAM!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it! The writing was smooth along with the transition from past to present. Horrifying circumstances…then learning to cope with debilitating ‘triggers’…to finding true love along the way.
Read it…love it…don’t ya wanna?!?!
Congratulations on your new job Amy.
DG, I want to read that one. It’s the same one Maryse was reading.
Fabi – Maryse’s review just went up also. I think I loved it just a little…more than she did. LOL. Best thing about this group is we don’t always love the same ones!
That’s right DG. Our differences (as well as our similarities) make it fun.
Thank you guys so much for the congrats and well wishes!! 😀
So, I should probably get this book stuff off my chest now since I’ll be busy tomorrow (might be long)…
Held…aw man, Maryse! You KNEW how much that one would mess with me, didn’t ya?? I’ve been running through it over and over for days now and STILL can’t wrap my head around it. The only thing which HAS taken my mind off it is The Turning Point. GAH!!! I finished it yesterday, and I have been thinking of it non-stop since then. The writing was pretty tough for me to get used to, and I didn’t know if I would ever adjust enough to it to fully become involved in the character’s lives. But Jan said it was the kind of book that sneaks up on you, and you know what? She was right. She was SO right because I found myself wondering what was going on with the characters whenever I wasn’t reading it, and picking it up again was like catching up with old friends and the happenings in their day-to-day lives. The story was just moving along, almost slowly at some points, and I was beginning to wonder if there was ever going to be any real drama when suddenly…BA-BAM!!! It cracked my heart wide open. And there was no shying away from what the characters were experiencing after that. It was raw and brutal and REAL, and I had no choice but to go through it all with them, painful as it was. There was definitely hope by the end, but I’m going to be bruised from this one for a while. *sigh* Loved it.
Grey…not sure what I missed (is everything okay???) but I second what R said. *big hug* for whatever it is that’s going on with you!!
I’m reading Written in Scars right now. It’s amazing. It has a different formula than our usual.
Oh I like different formulas Kandace. Like… what? :D!!!
I so need a friend in the US so I can get an Echo! I want one soooo much, but can’t seem to find here in Aus. When I clicked on it this morning on Amazon US it said it does not deliver to Aus, damn and burger!
Ok, this is how much of a book wuss I am….I teared up reading the blurb (THE FREAKING BLURB!!) of the Debra Anastasia one. Jeesh, I need to get a grip. That one sounds beautiful and I love the true life connection. Also Trans•fer•ence sounds great too (I have huge crush on the cover).
Anyone who hasn’t read Bad Romeo/Broken Juliet needs to get on it!!! It was awesome, swoony read. Highly recommend!!! (You know it’s got to be good if me and Amy both love it and we have pretty opposite tastes).
Bait by M. Mabie (that Grey mentioned) was a fabulous love triangle series!!
Amy, about audiobooks…At first, I couldn’t get into them. They couldn’t hold my interest, I’d fall asleep, tune them out etc. I kept trying them (lucky for me my library has good selection) and I FINALLY got used to it. Now I am obsessed with them! I use them like other people do music. While driving, cleaning, cooking, etc. You wouldn’t believe how much extra reading time you can squeeze into a day when you do audiobooks!! Best invention ever!!
So totally pre-ordering For All The Evers….that blurb did me in. And, I one-clicked Only Trick so hard, I think I broke Amazon. God, I love books. I’m obsessed. I have more than I possibly could read in a lifetime, but I MUST. HAVE. THEM. ALL.
LOL Lisa!!! Only Trick is one of the 4 that I feel like reading right now, immediately. I one-clicked that one so hard, too. LOL!
Good Morning, everyone. Just about to have a cup of coffee in the courtyard before work.
Grey, hope this week is a peaceful week for you.
Amy, go kick butt.
Hey everyone! I’ve been sick the past few days and have missed being here and talking to everyone! I haven’t gone through all the posts yet, so I have no idea what I’ve missed the past week yet, but…
Maryse! I just happened to see your post on FB asking what Netflix series to watch. Have you seen Wentworth? It’s an Aussie women’s prison drama similar to Orange is the New Black, but it’s MUCH more dark and gritty. There are FOUR seasons to watch on Netflix!
I’ll also chime in about Bad Romeo/Broken Juliet–I FLOVED them! They were two of my top ten reads of 2015 (cause that’s when I read them).
Grey–so sorry to see what you’ve been going through! **hugs**
Amy–I agree with Leslie on the audiobooks–they’re awesome for no matter what you’re doing! I have to wear my heart pump controller/batteries in a fanny pack and I simply plug my earbuds into my Kindle and slip my Kindle in the space between the fanny pack and my stomach, and I can listen wherever, doing whatever!
If you need any suggestions, I’d be happy to give some. Just tell me a genre (I’ve listed to quite a few UF because sometimes it’s hard to get into (and stay into) the feel of the storyline with the audiobooks with more romance unless you have REALLY good narrator(s).
Maryse–besides Wentworth, if you haven’t watched Orange is the New Black, that’s awesome, and I also love a series called “Bloodline” (Kyle Chandler, who was on the tv version of Friday Night Lights), and Sissy Spacek star in it. It’s a mystery suspense series about a majorly f#cked up family. And there’s always the awesome ‘Breaking Bad’ if you haven’t seen it.
OK, I’ll stop posting now! lol
Oh and I was just looking at Bloodline!!! Okay did you watch that one? ‘Cause how you just described it is exactly what I’m in the mood for.
And I LOVED Breaking Bad.
Maryse, Gilmore Girls. Try it. It is honestly one of my absolute favorites ever. I put episodes on all the time.
I’m surprised I haven’t ran into more fans on here, it’s just so good. Tasha is a fan too.
You guys!!!
I’m watching er… some show. Series. About a virus breaking out in Atlanta. GAHHHH IT’S SO SCARY BUT GOOD!! I’m hooked.
And I’m making a second “Where did they go” author list… as I watch it. 😀
Ok, ONE more post.
Maryse! I found my most favorite one! When I watched it, it was through IMDB, but now they have it on Netflix. It’s one of my most fave series ever! It’s called ‘Offspring’ and it’s an Aussie family drama with some quirky humor sprinkled in. It’s about a female OB/GYN, her lovelife and her crazy family. I’m serious–it’s the best show I’ve watched in a loooong time. It’s made me laugh and cry many times!
Lisa–Do you watch it? (aren’t you in Au??)
Nay I’m going to look up the Australian show later on today. I do love family drama shows.
Maryse–OMG that is so wild! I noticed that series this morning when I was looking on Netflix for suggestions for you. I feel like I watched every good series during that 6 months I was really sick earlier this year, and I always love to hear about something I haven’t watched yet! I’m going to check it out!
YES DO IT NAY!!!
“Containment” :D!!! Very good! Hooked me right from the start.
Yup Amy. That’s how I felt after reading The Turning Point. Bruised. I couldn’t stop thinking about the characters for days either. Freya North’s writing style is a bit different from what we’re used to, but I think she’s brilliant, because her characters are like people I actually know and care about. Don’t know how she does that! And the characters are pretty much what makes or breaks a book for me. If the characters are ‘meh’, it usually ends up a dnf for me. But Frankie and Scott? Their lives matter to me, crazy as that sounds. (I know, look out for the crazy book lady. Something like a crazy cat lady?)
But what a beautiful book. Just wow.
I ordered Turning Point in hardcover and I can’t wait to start it. I just read Wolfsong and now the words “different writing style” draw me like a moth to a flame.
Maryse and Nay ‘The Queen’ on Netflix has been getting good reviews in Australia. It’s about the early days of the (current) Queen Elizabeth of England’s reign. Not just the usual royals soap opera, but something with a bit of politics and drama as well. Also I guess it must have good production values cos it was apparently very expensive to make. But I haven’t actually watched it yet ….. It’s on my list though. I don’t actually watch TV that much actually – too busy reading!
Yes R!
(Did I just use ‘actually’ twice in one sentence? And three times in two consecutive sentences?) *sighs*
Actually, Jan…
Stop. Now. 😉
Maryse, you have made me want to buy an Echo. Or ask for one for my bday 🙂 I had no idea it could read my books out loud to me!!! What??? Then I don’t have to run to the library to hunt down the audio version of a book when I need to speed read for book club. And I can tell it/her to play pandora for me. I need one!!!
They are DARN fun and constantly useable, marina!!! 😀 I LOVE mine.
And yet you still sound more coherent than me, Jan.
I wonder if Alexa likes Gilmore Girls? You should tell her like, “Oy, with the poodles already”
Oh if bev is excited, I’m 1-clicking! My Heart and Other Black Holes! She hasn’t steered me wrong yet!
Missed all you guys the last few days! Good luck with the new job Amy! Grey hope everything’s okay. I loved BR and Broken Juliet too (thanks to Amy)!
So, I’ve been living with the Larks in NY! An Exaltation of Larks by Suanne Laqueur…..SIMPLY AMAZING! I DON’T WANT IT TO EVER END!
Has Amy come back to tell us about her new job yet? I’m backtracking the comments as we speak. :D!!!! New jobs are exciting and so scary at first.
Oh YAY Jean! I have the ARC. I’m jumping in, soon.
MARYSE! YOU WILL LOVE IT! LOVE IT! DON’T SQUIRREL! I’M SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO READ IT! (Yes, I’m screaming)!
Maryse–Yes, please do check out Offspring! The lead woman who’s the OB/Gyn talks to herself and daydreams about things happening–that’s the funny part–and then there’s lots of drama with her and her family and she’s always looking for someone to date, so that’s the romance! That is seriously my favorite all-time tv drama, I think. And I love that it’s in Australia! I started watching Masterchef Australia last year, and I want to live there!
Ooh, and Bloodline–now, it’s NOT funny. Just pure f#cked up family drama and suspense! I loved both seasons!
Nay, I’m scared of the super-sized spiders and super-killer snakes there, though… LOL!
Guys!!! I been cookin’. 😉 And I posted goofy videos. *snort* 😛

R. Renee mentioned in another post that she wasn’t currently receiving email notifications when there’s a new comment…
So I’m checking… is everyone not getting then email notifications when someone comments?
I know we’re in the process of upgrading our server, so it could be that certain things have been suspended during the move/upgrade?
Let me know and I’ll see what I can find out.
