ALL GOOD NEWS here!!!! YAY!!!
Take a look at the latest updates:
Debra Anastasia just had a new book release today!! For All The Evers and it sounds like the most exquisite love story (time travel? Contemporary modern… and back in wartimes?)!!! GAH… that blurb!!!! Okay, so… she’s a housekeeper raising her little brother, and he’s a soldier fighting a war before she was ever even born. But they LOVE each other desperately… “Fate has etched paths for Thomas and Fallen that even time cannot touch. A Purple Heart proclaims Thomas’ valor and bravery. And his death. But Fallen dares to dream of the impossible. She wants Thomas to stay. Just stay...” This book is VERY PERSONAL to the author and she tells us:
“It’s to honor a man in my family that gave his life for his country on the last day of World War 2. He was almost home– almost done with the fighting after six years of service.
I realized that my readers are so generous with their hearts that this man who had just a few people left to remember him could maybe find a place in my trusted readers’ memories as well. You are my most heartfelt gift to my uncle. I used his name in this fiction time travel romance so that maybe there would be positive energy sent his way over seventy years after his death.”
“The handwritten words on my new cover are actually from a letter that my uncle sent home in WW2.”
C. S. Pacat has a new release GOING LIVE IN JUST A COUPLE OF WEEKS!!! The Summer Palace: A Captive Prince Short Story (Captive Prince Short Stories Book 2) is a short story in the now complete trilogy (except for extra short stories… LOL!!)! And I KNOW some of my best book-buds LOVED this fantasy M/M series like CRAZY. They’re gonna be excited!!! P.S. Here’s C. S. Pacat’s The Captive Prince Trilogy reading order. P.S. Did you guys know there was a mother short story released in this trilogy just a couple of months ago? I added IT to the reading order, too.
CD Reiss just updated the cover on one of her hit books, “Shuttergirl: (A Standalone Second Chance Romance)” (plus it’s super-bargain priced today to celebrate the new look!). When asked if the paperback would also reflect the new cover, she answered:
“nah. not right now. this was a spur of the moment decision”
Whitney G graces us with some fun facts right on her Facebook page (<— all of the great info and funny stuff, here) about her latest hit book, Naughty Boss: A Novella, but I thought I’d highlight my favorite parts! She says:
1. The original title was “Jingle-bell Cock” and it was going to be a holiday novella. (We all have Nicole London to thank for making me go in a different direction LOL <3 )
2. It was really quick and fun for me to write. I wanted to give myself a chance to laugh and be silly with my writing since a few other books I’m currently writing are a bit more angsty and emotional. <3
3. I wrote the blurb before the book. (Wait, okay…I actually write *all* my blurbs before I write the book. It’s a habit + my version of outlining. <3 )
Big huge breaking news!!! I’ve been waiting to share this for ages! I’m writing the screenplay of The Sky Is Everywhere for Warner Brothers!
Staci Hart just posted about her latest upcoming release AND a giveaway. She notes that it’s *A contemporary romance inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion* and it’s called “A Thousand Letters”. She warns: “This one’s #NOTACOMEDY, so stock up on the whiskey.” It sounds like an ANGSTY second chance romance, and she didn’t go with him… once. And he didn’t respond to any of her letters and contact attempts. But now he’s back.
…Maybe if he’d come home under better circumstances, he could speak to me without anger in his voice. Maybe if I’d said yes all those years ago, he’d look at me without the weight of rejection in his eyes. Maybe if things were different, we would have had a chance.
One regretted decision sent him away. One painful journey bought him back to me. I only wish I could keep him…
“I have to keep my notes open the whole time I’m writing All the Little Lights, like I did when I wrote Walking Disaster and had to keep Beautiful Disaster open on the left side of the screen. It’s been five years since I’ve written something so complicated, but I love it. Also, it’s taking me forever. I started this almost two years ago, and I’m only 40k words in. It usually takes me 3 months to write a full-length novel.
I told you. Masterpiece. #AlltheLittleLights“
P.S. You can see all of her upcoming projects listed on her website here.
Alessandra Torre just put one of my FAVORITE books on super-sale today! *squeeee*!! This is a must read. I read it back in 2013 (it was one of my stars of that year!!) and I LOVE Alessandra Torre’s crazy stories (and love stories). I couldn’t put this one down. I gave it 4.5 stars, and still think about it! Here’s my review.
PS: News on print versions of ALL these books is coming VERY soon! And you’ll see the release of SOMMERSGATE HOUSE, LACYBOURNE MANOR and PENMORT CASTLE in audio on January 24, 2017!
AND she says (on her webpage):
To be honest, I had intended to stop this series with Lucky Stars. But then I met Lachlan and Emma. And so, as I do (often!), I decided there’s going to need to be just…one…more.
And anyway, I gotta spend more time with Angus and Cassandra because they’re the bomb!
Now, this hasn’t been scheduled to be written yet and I don’t know if it’ll be a full book. But I do know that I intend to write it.
AND!!! She also reminds us of a freebie Christmas story (“Merry and Bright”) that can be read on Wattpad! She says:
“I know tons of you saw this last year (and then in between times) but thought I’d toss it out there for those who didn’t and who need a little Elvira during this Festive Season.
This was my Christmas present to you all last year.
And it’s a gift that keeps on giving!
Merry and Bright!

AND!!!! If you missed this fun little “Q&A” series Kristen Ashley featured on her Facebook page, I thought I’d compile them all here for you. Nothing better than answered questions by our favorite authors in the world.
- Question 1 of 3 (about her writing process…)
- Question 2 of 3 (will she be continuing the Rock Chick series?)
- Question 3 of 3 (will Susie get a story of her own?)
Rachel Blaufeld wrote a fun article on USA Today’s “Happy Ever After” blog, bringing us some Christmas book cheer! She says: “…I have something naughty, something nice and a little present for you…” Featured in her article is Jewel E Ann’s latest, Scarlet Stone, The One I Want for Christmas and Beth Ehemann’s A Cranberry Inn Christmas
T. Torrest also just revealed a gorgeous cover of her upcoming book “Con Man”. Hahaha!! I love the title ’cause it’s actually pretty darn clever. He’s an IMAGE CONSULTANT (that kind of “con” man ), and his latest client has him in a spin… (a bit from the blurb)
…The thing is, Luke doesn’t date his clients. Ever. But fighting his desire for Ainsley is proving more difficult than he ever imagined. Especially since the cocky and arrogant “confidence man” has just completely lost his cool…
