Jessica Hawkins JUST RELEASED THIS NEW ONE TODAY!!! Yours to Bare <— THAT COVER. It’s beautiful, and sexy and mysterious… I’m betting emotionally angsty stuff! It’s super-bargain priced today. Blurb says provocative and I can already feel that.
I went to his apartment and let him take my picture. Just once, to see how it would feel. I’m not his to look at, to inspire, to touch, but when he watches me through his lens, it gives me a high I don’t want to come down from…
My journal is the one place I can be myself–as long as I can tie it up and put it away when I’m finished. But when Finn undoes the bow, he pulls strings that could unravel each of us.
Lindy Zart has a new book coming (“Bullies Like Me”) out on December 28th!!!! This sounds AWESOME (here’s the gorgeous cover and intense-sounding blurb) and I love this author!!! It’s not up for preorder on Amazon yet, but I’m keeping my eye out. Hopefully it releases even earlier. She’s bullied ruthlessly, and then she tries to upend the “ruler’s reign”. Eeeeep! And then there’s him…
I want to protect her from whatever brought her here, but more than that, I want to protect her from me.

Summoned to Evelyn’s Upper East Side apartment, Monique listens as Evelyn unfurls her story: from making her way to Los Angeles in the 1950s to her decision to leave show business in the late 80s, and, of course, the seven husbands along the way. As Evelyn’s life unfolds—revealing a ruthless ambition, an unexpected friendship, and a great forbidden love—Monique begins to feel a very a real connection to the actress. But as Evelyn’s story catches up with the present, it becomes clear that her life intersects with Monique’s own in tragic and irreversible ways.

Lily White has a new book coming out called “Four Crows”! She posted the gorgeous book cover and blurb. In fact this one doesn’t seem “dark” like her past books… more like a mystery-romance, on the edge of a psych-thriller, maybe, (about a Marine that comes home from war and his wife and son are missing). It’s coming out January 2017!!
Born into a world that no child should endure, Magpie “Maggie” Crow is doted on by her loving father and over protective brothers. As much as she loves them, she fears them, especially when she learns secrets they’ve kept hidden…

Melanie Harlow has an upcoming book, and it’s already up for pre-order!! If You Were Mine is coming out in February 2017. She hired him as her date so she wouldn’t be at the singles table… and then they were snowed in together!!!
“One night turns into a snowed-in weekend away, and even the blizzard of the century can’t cool the fire between us. I can’t get enough—of his smile, of his body, of the way he makes me feel.
We’re nothing alike…”
Harry Potter series was featured in an article that has many debating its merits! I haven’t read these (or watched all of the movies yet), but I found this article interesting… (you can also see some discussion in the comments section right here on my Facebook page).
Just to give you an idea of how much of a fan I am, here are some of my reviews:
- Book Review – Rush by Emma Scott – 4.5 stars
- Book Review – How to Save a Life by Emma Scott - 4.5 stars
- Book Review – Full Tilt by Emma Scott - 5 stars
- Book Review – All In (Full Tilt Book 2) by Emma Scott - 4.5 stars
It’s an amazing, incredibly introspective interview, that I think every fan (or soon-to-be-fan) must read. Here’s just a snippet, to give you an idea:
Emma Scott: “I try to strive for authenticity in my work. I don’t like over-the-top drama; I don’t like it when characters make implausible decisions (though I’m sure I’m guilty of that to some degree). I like flawed characters, I like exploring difficult, real life situations but through the prism of a love story. The idea of how and who and why human beings fall in love with each other, and what that love does to their life choices, or how it affects them really interests me. I’m a firm believer in the idea that everyone deserves love, and that all love stories, no matter how short, are important. Even if the person has been abused, is disabled, a lonely introvert, an outcast, a felon, or at the end of his life, I want to explore what falling in love does to those people, and how, no matter how tough the situation, love always wins.”
