Amy: The Ground Rules…now THAT is all kinds of messedupedness just waitin’ to happen. Perfect!! :D

DianeM: You guys should try The Ground Rules!! … it was SO good! Finished at 2am, could not put it down or sleep. It totally felt like Indescent Proposal (remember with Robert Redford?!) Gah! So good, I haven’t stayed up all night to read since last year lol… it’s 100% unapologetic swinging and both couples have kids AND it’s gonna be a trilogy FYI (cliffhanger wasn’t bad, felt complete)

Kandace: Maryse – I’m feeling really shouty right now. I picked up The Ground Rules by Roya Carmen from your list this week and I freakin’ loved everything about it. I think this is the authors debut book and it was sooooo good. The Ground Rules is a sensual story about a normal couple (Gage and Mirella) who one day cross paths with the alluring and enchanting Weston and Bridget. And oh boy…. their world is about to change because of this chance meeting (it’s sooooo good, did I already say that? LOL!!). The rules seem simple enough, but as emotions and bonds form, slowly the rules become muddled. We slowly start to see the cracks in their plan. This story is very erotic, sensual and forbidden. I found myself rooting for a certain couple. Their chemistry was off the chart HOT. I was a little nervous going into this book. I picked it up in a whim and read it straight through in one sitting. I can’t wait for the next book. I’m totally obsessed. Now I’m stalking poor Roya for the next book.

Sally: Okayyyy that’s ALL I want to know. Going to go in blind , it’s the only way I roll (have to finish what I’m reading first)…

Amy: Diane, that’s good to know about Ground Rules! How’s the angst level in it? Once again, my moral book compass just went *pblttt*!!!

Diane: It was high angst for me Amy, had a bit of an Arsen feel but the husband is the tattoo covered bad boy

Jean June 19, 2015 at 1:25 PM

The next Rocker book!!! I’ve been waiting for Liam and Gabriella’s story for a long time! How did I not know this was coming out?

Ah Ground Rules is making me twitchy especially after reading Kandace’s comment/shout recommendation and I’m trying to finish third book of Fallen Crest…….

Paula June 19, 2015 at 1:29 PM

1 clicked so many from Tuesday’s and today’s list. Just started The Vixen and the Vet as I think someone on here recommended it? Loved Beat – better than Throb. Really like the sound of 1000 kisses to sanity as that looks like it could be amusing, oh and 1 clicked the ground rules…

Amy June 19, 2015 at 2:28 PM

How have I missed Impulse and A Life Worth Fighting before?? One sounds crazy naughty and possibly angsty while the other sounds heartbreaking…PERFECT!!!! :D

Amy June 19, 2015 at 2:31 PM

Jean, let me know if/when you read Fallen Fourth Down…I’ll read it if you will, m’kay? I’m probably being a *bawk bawk* for no reason. ;) And Ground Rules is a definite upcoming read for me!

Jean June 19, 2015 at 2:40 PM

Amy I don’t know that I will jump right into FFD…..I kinda need a break from the YA genre and that’s why Ground Rules is screaming for me!!!!!

Kandace June 19, 2015 at 2:44 PM

Jean – You’ll love The Ground Rules! I am thinking of reading the one about the pregnant girl and medic.

Marit June 19, 2015 at 2:44 PM

I’m done with Forever Checking (third book in trilogy) by Jennifer Jamelli now!!! ;) I LOVED it. I can’t get the characters out of my head. I’m so insecure about the new Christian Grey book. Have anyone of you read it? I’m starting BLUE by HJ Bellus tonight;) It looks awesome!:)

Jean June 19, 2015 at 2:49 PM

Thanks Kandace! I think that’s my next read! I downloaded the one about the medic and pregnant girl when Maryse first posted it. Keep me updated on how you like it! I definitely need a change of pace!

Lauren June 19, 2015 at 2:58 PM

Reed’s Reckoning is sooooooo good!!!!!

Deborah June 19, 2015 at 4:16 PM

Tessa June 19, 2015 at 6:25 PM

Finally done with the Blood and Roses series. I see why it’s the end, but not. No cliff hanger. Though, I have to read a side book now called Rebel eventually. Still, I liked it and got my money’s worth. Four days reading it! That’s pure awesome.

Another Rocker book and it’s THE rocker book I’ve been waiting for. Yet… next month. Oooh, next month will be rockstar month. Beat, Rocker who… and Insider!

Cheryl June 19, 2015 at 7:08 PM

Still Reading Curveball and it has not been what I expected. So far it is not your typical sports romance because for the moment his being a baseball player isn’t playing into the story; so far. Definitely enjoying the story and curious where it is going. ;)

Gonna be a big baby and wait until The Ground Rules trilogy is complete before starting it.

Sherry D :) June 19, 2015 at 8:10 PM

A Life Worth Fighting….Oh My!!
I had tears just reading the blurb :(

Jodi June 19, 2015 at 8:25 PM

seriously wanted to throw my iPad when I finished King!! My husband had to take it and walk away slowly with it…lol

Tessa June 19, 2015 at 10:28 PM

Okay, I forgot who mentioned The Warded Man (It having similarities to Unholy Ghost Trilogy). Whomever, thank you. I’m reading it and liking it. *grins*

Fabi June 19, 2015 at 10:52 PM

* squeeeee* Tessa! You’re reading The Warded Man. *double sqeeee* It’s one of my all time favorite epic fantasy series. Oh god, don’t tell me if you hate it. No, wait, tell me anyways. Lol

Tessa June 19, 2015 at 10:59 PM

So far, not much has happened. The writing’s good, but I’m only on page 32. Got it from the library last week and figured this would be my next read. I’ll tell you when I’ve read a bit more. It’s one of those, so far so good types. *grins*

Fabi June 19, 2015 at 11:10 PM

Yeah, its epic fantasy so it builds up slow(er). Plus the MC is really young at the beginning but he grows up as the series continues.

Tessa June 19, 2015 at 11:39 PM

I figured as much, considering he’s 11 and doesn’t like playing Kissy. lol I love epic fantasies. The exception is Wheel of Time. The author writes too many useless words.

Laura June 20, 2015 at 3:21 AM

Just finished beat after a wonderful time at the baby a&e with a suspected broken arm which turned out to be ….nothing!really?!
So I noticed you guys doing favourite lists so mines is…..
Madeleine Sheehan undeniable series
Jr ward -BDB!!
Tarryn fisher – love me with lies series
Kim Harrison – Rachel Morgan series
RL Mathewson – NFH
Kresley cole – IAD
And it’s a toss up between Kirsten Ashley’s rock chicks, fantasyland, the burg and yeah everything else she wrote lol
I’m sure there is loads more but I just can’t think of them like hunger games, game of thrones, terry pratchetts discworld there’s just to many to write!!

Steph June 20, 2015 at 9:21 AM

I bought Ground Rules yesterday afternoon, wrote a review this morning. So so so good. I really fell in love with the characters. All of them. I kinda wished they would just all end up together, one big happy family. lol~

Cheryl June 20, 2015 at 12:17 PM

Is there any word on when the other 2 books following Ground Rules will be released?

Amy June 20, 2015 at 1:22 PM

I *really* want to read ground rules but the fact that there are still two more books coming is what’s holding me back. :? Hopefully someone will be able to answer your question Cheryl ’cause I’d like to know too!

I am with Sherry though on A Life Worth Fighting…definitely an *oomph* blurb! I’m thinking that one is next for me…

Fabi June 20, 2015 at 2:24 PM

Has anyone read Bang by E.K. Blair? It sounds unapologetically dark and twisted. It’s on sale for $0.99

Diane M June 20, 2015 at 5:02 PM

Lol Steph! That is interesting….. I’m telling you guys!!! Very slight cliffy, i was good with the way it ended actually, felt very complete and it was so good it was totally worth it, such an all consuming wild ride. The sex was insanely hot. The next book is in the next 6 months it seems, and i have to say, i wouldn’t have slept for days if it was all out, i almost needed the break

Convinced???!!

bev June 20, 2015 at 6:45 PM

Then I entered to win some swag from RT that the that blog was giving away. Usually I don’t enter these cause know might win stuff I won’t use, you know? But thought what the heck. Package just came.
