Happy Friday my friends!! The book-bargain finds, and reader recommendations are ready! All sorts of brand spankin’ new releases on today’s list. 😀
A few of the ones that made my one-click finger antsy? That’s easy! That one over there to the left Light Shadows (’cause I loved the first two in the series – all SORTS of emotional angst), The Playing With Fire Complete Series (Navy Seals bundled and on super-sale just for us, and this series had great reviews!), Juicy (she falls for a homeless man?), Little Doll (that title and that book cover and that blurb have me saying EEEEEP!!! She’s in the hands of a notorious cartel family…).
Plus! There are a BUNCH on super-sale right now that I absolutely LOVED, so I added links to my reviews next to ’em. And! Many that our fellow readers LOVED so I added their own comments.
Oh!!! And you must take a look at the pre-orders below. All *squee-worthy* looking. Colleen Hoover, Debra Anastasia, Melanie Harlow, Amy Harmon, Courtney Cole… the list is AH-MAZING!
P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere).
P.P.S. Also, while these bargain finds and new releases “look” great (and/or have awesome reviews and recommendations), unless I have my own personal review link next to it, I likely haven’t read it myself… I just found it and wanted to share it in case it’s awesome. So if you read it, let me know if it’s awesome. LOL!
NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.
Todays latest reader recommendations and bargain ebook finds:
- Light Shadows (The Dark Light Series Book 3) by S.L. Jennings <— LOOK WHAT’S LIVE!!!! I liked #1 (actually loved the 2nd half – here’s my review of Dark Light) and LOVED LOVED LOVED #2 (The Dark Prince), so I can’t wait to find out what happens. *squeeeeeeeee!!!!* Actually we are ALL very excited!
Tessa: Light Shadows by SL Jennings is now available.
Amy: Light Shadows is out?!?!?!?!? SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Tessa!!! Seriously, the second book was probably the most angsty PNR I have ever read…and if there was a PNR that was more angsty then I can’t think of it right now. That second book gave me tummy and heart pains!
Michelle S: ONE CLICK … Light Shadows…. loved this series. But I have to say, it’s one of those that I loved while I was reading it, and then I can’t remember anything months later. A true 5 star PNR for me
- Remember When Trilogy (The Remember Trilogy) by T. Torrest <— Oh I remember this one!!! Good stuff, and the whole trilogy has been bundled at an AWESOME price today. I need to read book #3! Here are my reviews for #1 (Remember When) & #2 (Remember When 2).

- The Playing With Fire Complete Series: Books 1 – 4 by Tara Sivec <— Stephanie found us this SUPER DEAL!! And I MEAN SUPER DEAL. “Four Navy SEALS risk their lives to save the women who have gotten under their skin and worked their way into their hearts. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, but now you don’t have to!“
- Forever Light (Forever Love Series) by Megan Smith <— JUST RELEASED!! “Macy Thomas, a college sweetheart, is trying to hold on to the boy who store her heart. She’s stuck on the sidelines watching as he throws his life away. The guilt is forever pulling him into the darkness threatening to take her with it.“
- A Reason To Kill (Reason #2) by C.P. Smith <— JUST RELEASED!!
- Wolfsgate by Cat Porter <— He was shipwrecked! “My wife saved me, brought me home. I didn’t even know I had a wife—can I trust her? I know I want her. Desperately. We are two of a kind—the manipulated, the tossed off, the rejected.” I think it’s a historical but it sure sounds intriguing!

Scott, Christine Bell, Rebecca Shea, Andrea Smith, Magan Vernon, Kristie Cook, Nevaeh Lee, Michelle Lynn, Alessandra Thomas, Selena Laurence, Heidi Joy Tretheway, Elizabeth Briggs, Meghan March, Taylor Michaels, K.B. He’s trusted the mortal men on his elite special operations team to protect his secret, until an explosion lands Wulf in a place more dangerous to him than a battlefield: a medevac helicopter.” Oh oh. Does a pretty Doctor question his “humanity”? 😉
- RUIN – Part Three (The RUIN Series, Book 3) by Deborah Bladon <— Janet LOVES this series and is excited to get started on this latest release! “On next to Deborah Bladon’s third book in the Ruin series, which has just come out, and needs a mention – this series is a must-read!” Here is the Ruin Series Reading Order.
- Bulletproof (A Songbird Novel Book 2) by Melissa Pearl <— JUST RELEASED!! ACTOR ALERT! “In her mind, she’s bulletproof. But she has one weakness – men. She can’t seem to live without them, yet is unable to find her perfect match. After yet another break up, Morgan promises her sister and best friend that she’ll write off men for the rest of the year…but then she meets Sean Jaxon.“
- Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia <— Nancy found us a TREAT!!! One of our favorites is on SUPER SALE right now (here’s my review)… and there’s a pre-order for book #3 (going live tomorrow)! Nancy says: “I absolutely loved Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia … but just saw the 3rd book Saving Poughkeepsie is coming out 11/22/14 & can be pre-ordered & so I will” (see the pre-order below). Lauren says: “I swear, I think Beckett is my favorite of the three “brothers”.” and Lisa S says: “I loved book 1, too. This is one of my favorite book boyfriends who was homeless (other books with homeless heroes are Juicy, Jane’s Melody, and Crash)“
- Juicy by Pepper Pace <— So I’m looking up Lisa S’s recommendations of other homeless heroes. Look at this one! I’ve never heard of it before but wow, it sounds up our alley! “Juicy Robinson was the color of sweet black licorice, of a charcoal briquette soaked in lighter fluid and no one was going to make her feel like she wasn’t the sexiest thing around—not the white people that her mother had taught her to distrust and certainly not the homeless white man that has been watching her from the alley…“
- Gone Girl: A Novel by Gillian Flynn <— Stephanie found us some books to movies deals! She says: “These Novels, now Major Motion Pictures, are on SALE… Each for a Limited Time Only!!!”
- If I Stay (If I Stay, Book 1) by Gayle Forman <— and this one! (GREAT READ! Here’s my review)
- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green <— AND THIS ONE! But I’m toooooo chicken to read it. 😉
- Little Doll (Bittersweet Duet Book 1) by Melissa Jane <— Stephanie found us a duo and warns not for the faint of heart. YAY US! She says: “This 2-Part, Dark, Gritty Tale of Survival is NOT for the Faint Hearted…★ BITTERSWEET DUET SERIES by Melissa Jane ★ Laila has no idea of the evil that shadows her every move. Now in the hands of a notorious cartel family, she quickly learns that trust and betrayal are a deadly mix.”
- Crimson Desert: Bittersweet Duet, Book Two by Melissa Jane <— And this one!!!
- The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred <— And so many of my fellow readers have just discovered the wonder that is The Sweet Gum Tree!!! I read this one a few years ago and LOVED it (my review of The Sweet Gum Tree). And it’s on super-sale right now. Just look at these reactions!
Amy: my tantrum during SGT wasn’t from being mad…it was a crying tantrum. *sigh* I seriously loved that book.
MichelleS: I nearly finished Sweet Gum Tree last night. It’s definitely one of those one-sitting-devour-it books. I’ll finish tonight. Just love it. And for anyone that hasn’t read the historical by K Ranney called Tapestry – it has the same feelings as SGT. Young, innocent love from afar. Determined, spirited woman/girl. Obstacles, obstacles, obstacles getting in the way. That same lump in your throat. And I think it’s bargain priced right now too. I used to say it was Painted Faces meets Pride & Prejudice… well, add a big dollop of Sweet Gum Tree to that description.
Amy: SGT has some angst but for me it was more from just not knowing how everything was going to work out. It was, however, a very, very emotional read punctuated with heartwrenching situations that were simply out of the characters’ control. It wasn’t really an issue of non-communication or ridiculous misunderstandings but more of just Nick and Alix making the best decisions they could given what info they had at certain times. Their choices made my heart hurt for them (and me!), but I could see *why* they did what they did. I’m pretty sure y’all are familiar enough with how I gauge angst and emotion by now, so you will understand what it means when when I say it was not the most angsty I have read but is definitely up there as far as one of the most *emotional* books I have read. I *think* Maryse has reviewed it (correct me if I am wrong anyone?) so you could check that out, too. Which is something I should do as well, right? 😉
Maryse: Yep! I have. 😀
- Untouched (The Untouched Trilogy Book 1) by Lilly Wilde <— Christel loves this one. “it is one of my favorites this year…”
- Blind Rage: Team Red, Book 4 by T. Hammond <— Maria recommends this series! “I recommend the Team Red series from T. Hammond. Very unique, funny and sexy story. The fifth book Blind Rage (this one is a novella though) was just released. The first book in the series Blind Seduction is available for free right now. Totally in love with this series, can’t wait for the last book release date May 2015.”
- Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand <— Bev recommends this one! “The most amazing book is on sale. Unbreakable by Laura Hillenbrand. It is an amazing story that is beautiful and so heartbreaking. Some parts are very difficult to read but it will stay with you.”
- A Place to Call Home by Deborah Smith <— and Bev loves this one! “Deborah Smith. Read it years before Sweet Gum Tree. You’ll notice similarity but each has its own style. I think. Been so long but APTCH always stayed with me. Have been meaning to maybe re read.”
- Debt Inheritance (Indebted Book 1) by Pepper Winters <— Back on the list ’cause both Tessa and Antonella love it! Tessa says: “Anyone who isn’t scared of CH, read Debt Inheritance. Seriously. Just go read!” and Antonella agrees: “I’ll second Tessa’s comments above read Debt Inheritance by Pepper Winters, it’s brilliant if you aren’t afraid of a little darkness. Book two – First Debt – also came out last week and it is better than the first. The way she weaves the story line has you captivated even if it is a little wrong.”
- His Secretary: Undone (A Billionaire Romance) by Melanie Marchande <— Shell found us a couple that she recommends! Like this one! She says: “‘His secretary Undone’ by Melanie Marchand is on sale and its a fun read with a sexy boss which I finished in one sitting and i enjoyed it a lot, it really made me laugh out loud.”
- This Is Falling (The Falling Series, Book 1) by Ginger Scott <— Shell also recommends this one. “‘This is Falling’ by Ginger Scott is also on sale price which is a wonderful book with great storyline and believable characters. I loved it a lot.”
- Saving Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia – expected release date is TOMORROW!! November 22nd 2014
- Maybe Not: A Novella by Colleen Hoover – releasing November 24th 2014!! Hey that’s Monday! 😀
- The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon – expected release date November 27th 2014
- Forever With Me (With Me In Seattle Book 8) by Kristen Proby – expected release date December 2nd 2014
- Slammed (Slammed Series Book 1) by Skyla Madi – expected release date December 2nd 2014
- Take Me With You by K.A. Linde <— expected release date January 27th 2015
- VERUM (The Nocte Trilogy Book 2) by Courtney Cole – expected release date February 2nd 2015
- Floored (Frenched Book 3) by Melanie Harlow – expected release date February 5th 2015
- Thoughtful (A Thoughtless Novel) by S.C. Stephens – expected release date February 24th 2015
- Beautiful Secret (The Beautiful Series) by Christina Lauren – expected release date April 14th 2015
‘His secretary Undone’ by Melanie Marchand is on sale and its a fun read with a sexy boss which I finished in one sitting and i enjoyed it a lot, it really made me laugh out loud.
‘This is Falling’ by Ginger Scott is also on sale price which is a wonderful book with great storyline and believable characters. I loved it a lot.
His Secretary is a fun and sexy read. I read it in one sitting too. I’m an office romance junkie.
Light Shadows. I feel like I waited 2 years for this book!
I love the office romance books too!! 😀
I know Linh… me too. FINALLY we have it. That last part of book #2 had me in an uproar. LOL!
What’s great is no one noticed what I said at first. (I’m twisted enough to enjoy that.). There is a just the good parts 2 already out. I kind of want to read if I stay, but am chicken. (I refuse to see or read fault in our stars. Just no!). Little doll, maybe…
Read “If I Stay” Tessa!!!!
Oh yeah I’m with you on Fault in Our Stars…
I grabbed Playing with Fire and Light Shadows. I have one clicked so many this week I don’t which way to turn. I don’t know if I feel like I need something light, PNR, angsty or dark! I just want to head home and start reading the weekend away.
Rofl, okay, I will. Just never Fault of our Stars. That’s like reading Beaches or some such. Gah. (Or Bright Side. That book was good, but dang! My tablet was soaked from tears.) Or Sweet Valley High 40 and 41 which gave me appendicitis from crying so hard! (Seriously, my stomach started hurting after crying so hard, and two days later, I was in surgery. Weird coincidence.)
I just saw that Bound by Flames by Jeanine Frost will be out January 27th. *Squeeee!* I admit it! I liked Vlad even more than Bones. I like Bones a lot, but Vlad… *sighs*
Vlad IS RIGHT!!! LOVE HIM!
Okay, how often do I get to mention something that is book related AND nail polish related?? I am soooo getting this one when it is available!!!
https://www.yahoo.com/beauty/50-shades-of-grey-nail-polish-is-coming-103058270488.html
I’m finishing up with Dex and Perry (my lord but I am going to miss them!!) and then I am starting Light Shadows. Sorry in advance if I told anyone that I would read one of their recs next, but this one takes precedence over all others right now. You know how it goes. 😉 Peace offering…name any subject and I’ll get you a martini or cocktail for it…then I’ll drink it with ya!!
Hard As Rock <——– Oh, no freaking way!! LOL!!!!!! 😛
Tessa you have to read If I Stay… you won’t be sorry! 😉 I agree on Fault in Our Stars.
Gone Girl is a wild ride and Unbroken is a great true story!
One-clicked Remember When series and thinking about Bulletproof and His Secretary Undone. Still have to finish Captivated. RL has been interfering with my reading time! 😉
I have got ‘Fault In My Stars’ in paperback but I am too chicken to read as well, I got it as a present.
Maryse while browsing on Amazon I came across this book called ‘ Bad Romeo’ by Leisa Rayven which is coming out on 23 Dec, it’s a intense hate to love, dysfunctional but can’t stay away second chance romance with a sexy, moody, brooding, tortured bad boy hero. I have pre-ordered my copy and I can’t wait to read it.
Oh Shell, I saw Bad Romeo too and pre-ordered also! Looks good!
Agree with everyone about Fault in My Stars….. haven’t read it either. And I’m probably the last person to read Gone Girl so I 1-clicked that sale! His Secretary Undone keeps popping up for me too….If anyone reads it, let me know if it’s good!
Amy, how about a Martini to warm me up! It’s 28 degrees where I am….brrrrrrr….
Amy – I saw those nail polishes and loved them! I’ll be looking for them too.
Doing a buddy read of Resistance with Michelle to start my weekend reading. What is everyone else reading?
Sugar Rush by Belle Aurora went live today. This is book 3 in the friend-zoned series, Max’s story. If you haven’t read these books I would highly recommend them to anybody who loves a good laugh and sexy alphas. I have five starred every book in the series so far.
Love those greys, Amy!!!
I’m looking it up right now, Shell! 😀
Bev, is Resistance book 1 or continuation of a series?
Thank you Beverly!! I’m going to post the series in just a few! Great find. 😉
Jean, I think Amy’s too busy doing her nails right now…
Cheryl, let us know if you like your new one-clicks.
Fabi, I think it is just a stand a lone novel but I never checked.
I’m not very far at all yet and it feels a little jerky so far. And I think I’m too hard on the heroines cause she is slightly annoying me, lol. Sigh. Maybe being a grump at the end of a long day/week, :-\.
I’m barely over 10% , which means Michelle is probably at 90. Maybe it gets better.
Hey now!! I don’t just work on my nails, I do other stuff like read and…uh…make cocktails…and…uh…one click…and…uh…oh *pbltt*!!!
Here ya go, Jean:
https://drink.betterrecipes.com/warm-apple-cider-martini.html
How’s that for being busy doing my nails, huh?? See, I can do two things at once! 😉
Did you hear? Did. You. Hear?!?!?
Ugly Love is gonna be a movie!!! And the guy…Nick Bateman…holy hotness on a freaking sex stick!!! He is *actually* pretty dang close to how I pictured Miles. *twirling around* WHEEEEE!!!!
Uhhhhh…I think I used tooooo much peppermint mocha Kahlua tonight…
*shrugging* WHEEEEEE!!!!!
Ugh ugh ugh !!! <— *hizzy fit tantrum*
I want Maybe Someday to be a movie. *whaaaa*
I have not read Ugly Love so not talking about that one. But do you ever wish certain books would not get optioned for movies or tv, especially in the romance genre? Sometimes I think the dialogue, scenes, and casting are better played in my head.
Saying this some adaptations are insanely good. I just find those to usually be in other genres.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a romance adapted for the theatre. If I have I didn’t know it. I’ve seen several sci fis and urban fantasy ones and loved them all.
I’m reading Light Shadows. It took me a while to remember who was who and what all happened. I still don’t remember much of the first two books, but it’s slowly coming back to me. There’s action and drama right away, so that’s good. I just wish the author took a few pages to do a quick synopsis of “what happened up to this point”. So far so good, though. Giveing me my PNR fix. Still need that paranormal element in my library regularly.
And Nick, his brother…. I didn’t read his novella, and now I wish I had.
That’s nice Fabi. It is always wonderful when they come together just right. Ones like HP, GOT, and Bridget Jones I’ve loved. And of course the BBC has done amazing ones.
MichelleS, you *really* should read Nikolai. I already liked him, but his novella made me adore him even more and made my heart just hurt for the guy.
As for movie adaptations, I don’t really watch those too often just ’cause I don’t want to be disappointed. The Ruins was a really good book but the movie sucked. I have loved the Hunger Games movies so far though, and the little changes they made for the movie haven’t bothered me at all.
I will most likely watch Forever, Interrupted when it comes out though, and *hopefully* it will do the book justice!
Oh!! More Colleen Hoover news! Apparently she is teaming up with Tarryn Fisher to write a book called Never Never. I’m afreaking out!!!
Tarryn Fisher knots my guts up and screws with my head, and Colleen Hoover breaks my heart (but then heals it ;)), so I can only imagine what their book will do to me…and I’m gonna love every second of it!!!!! 😀
Amy, he is yummy. We’ll see if the movie does the book justice.
https://colleenhoover.com/2014/11/21/ugly-love-nick-bateman-everything/
Amy, loved the nail polish colors too!
Just finished Captivated, and while it was good, I’m left wondering what it really was about. I guess it was more of the housekeeping end of a relationship. Communicating and strengthening the bond between Eva and Gideon outside of their intense sexual relationship. So many people coming at them with vendettas!
Maryse, that said I’m not sure what I will read next. I one-clicked the Remember When series, but not sure if I am going to start that or one of my TBR (which I should) or I’ve ben interested in The Record series, and now that it is complete I may start that!! Decisions, decisions…
Amy, I miss Dex and Perry too. What a great series!! *sigh*
I will say the one comment I read comparing Remember When to The Opportunist has me intrigued and a little scared- Opportunist was crazy angsty!!
After current read think I’m going to read His Roads Home by Anna Richland. Has anyone read this? I saw a positive review and it takes place around Thanksgiving. Plus novella length.
I guess the hero was seriously wounded overseas. She helps him drive his car home for the holiday. Love a road trip
Cheryl, someone compared Remember When to The Opportunist??? I loved the angst in that! I’ve had RW on my Kindle app forever so I guess this is a sign that I need to start it, huh? 😉
Bev, you love road trip books…have you read The Edge of Never or Infinity Plus One? I loved those two!
Oh, and just FYI but Infinity Plus One is more PG-13ish whereas The Edge of Never is definitely R. 😉
Hey guys so I’m on mercy Thompson book6 powering on through I so love them!!!! But at the start I got the table of contents and the last said it was mercys letter to Adam now I’m not liking that it’s making me nervous all the way through thinking something really bad is going to happen letters are a no go I don’t like it am I going to do the whole ‘noooooooo’ at the end of this book? Please say no!!
Laura your back. So glad you are loving Mercy. You got through that one book. So hard to read. Then in the bedroom when she stays coyote, just hard. There would be tar & feathers if I gave away an ending on here.
Amy thanks for the recs! Infinity looks soo good. Read EoN but not the sequel. Loved it.
Bev – that scene, where she stays in coyote form and Adam grabs her from under the bed after what’s his name tells him that she crawled on her belly past him…. I’ll never forget it. Big ole’ lump in my throat. That was devastating. Second favorite Mercy scene – the courthouse when the Grey Lord (or whatever) comes in on horseback and then the fey go into hiding after that!!! And from Alpha & Omega when Charles takes her in that room full of wolves and she’s an Omega so they all feel her fear???? God, I just love these books!!!!
Surely there’s something else very Mercy like??
RW is compared to The Opportunist? I never heard that and I’ve had it forever too. Hmmm…,
Oh and great spinoff from EoN and EoA….. Song of the Fireflies….LOVED that book!!!!
Oh yeah when I was reading it i was like no not mercy that won’t happen to her and it did I think it was perfect though that it didn’t go into detail on it cause she is such a strong character I don’t think you need detail to know how bad that would have been for her, when it’s Ben that points it out to Adam my heart breaks for him to!!! But this book I’m like that letter maybe it’s just like a this is what’s happening Adam meet me here but she can’t tell us at the time or ruin the plot I’m hoping it’s not a letter explains why she’s left him cause she can’t leave him!!!
Just finished book #1 of Remember When trilogy. So far, not seeing the comparison to The Opportunist, but hear there’s serious CH at the end of this book, so we’ll see…
Trust the books, Laura. They are really good, and nothing is without reason.
I am still so jealous of you, Laura, for being able to read those for the first time! The way the book handles certain things is awesome, and rather true. I adore how scared Mercy is of Charles, though. It gives a good contrast when you get to reading the Alpha Omega series, and seeing how Anna looks at him.
I’m tempted to re-read the whole series now!
Tessa, Yes how romantic Charles story is was surprising. I really have to catch up on that series.
Laura, would love a Ben & a Bran story.
MichelleS for not being a overly descriptive writer Briggs has written some scenes that I can Imagine so clearly. Like the first book when Mercy goes home and the wolves are hunting and what’s her name comes after her.
One of these days I’m going to have to revisit the Mercy Thompson stories. I think I read one or two but they were out of order and I never followed up on the series.
All your talk about Mercy and the Alpha and Omega series makes me want to reread too!
Skip to the Good Part has a second book coming out in December and is currently on pre-order on amazon.com,if you like the first one,you probably will the second one and it is also only 99 cents
I read the first Mercy book!! I found myself skimming at the end so then I decided to try the first Kate Daniels book and see which I liked better and now I can’t stop!! They are really good and I can’t read them fast enough:)
Bought Sugar rush today( I love this series!!) Also Roomies by Lindy Zart sounds really good and funny so one_clicked that!!
Saw this one on sale today and thought it looked interesting so clicked it: Until the End of the World by Sarah Lyons Fleming.
Yey Niki I knew the Kate Daniels series wouldn’t be a miss for ya! It’s one of the only pnr series that I can count on one hand where each book gets better and better everytime. Just you wait – the newest book was so good I slowed down reading to savor it 😛 Oh and I love Lindy Zart – just read Take Care Sara and thought it was fantastic.
Michelle that does look interesting. I’ve thought about re re reading the first Mercy book just to remember how it started. Maryse just posted she was enjoying Frenched & I have had that one for awhile. So thinking I may take a Sunday trip to France this afternoon.
I finished His Road Home and really liked it but thought I would love it.
Half way done with Dare to Love. It is a really fast read. Has the insta love. It was free and I was excited because of the set up for the hero’s family. His father had two of them but it isn’t going into the depth I wanted. Brings up real hurts and concerns but then they get glossed over.
Finished Remember When series. Sweet, somewhat angsty read.
I think I might start the Off the Record series now…
Bev we blew it with the buddy read. I’m reading Eversea and it’s MUCH better than The Resistance – we picked wrong 🙁 I have Frenched too but it’s way back on the good ol’ tbr. After I finish Eversea, I seriously might reread Moon Called. It’s been long enough that it will seem newish.
Michelle, I just can’t stop reading them!! They are soo good!! I’m glad you have enjoyed them!! I’m only at the start of book four but am so mad Curran stood her up!!! Grrrrr;)
Michelle I’m still glad we did it. I love checking some of these books off. Happy, so happy to hear that about Eversea! I love the cover too. I believe there is a Christmas novella sequel.
I’ve been heard few others talking about Bad Romeo. I think it’s on net galley right now. It seems everyone is loving it.
I got squirrelly, so I went for MC Club book… it’s the Nordic Lords MC series – and I started with book 3….. now I am going back for one and two. Loved it. Some MC books are just better than others. This was a good one. Mayor’s daughter is in love with the MC bad boy. She gets pregnant. He dies. She comes back years later to start over, and HIS BROTHER, who look so much like him it hurts her to look at him – is there being a giant jack a$$ cause he blames her for his death. LOVED IT. If you need an MC fix.
Michelle & Bev, Eversea #2 is Forever, Jack and there is also a novella, Mistletoe & Hollywood: An Eversea Series Novella & A Desire Resort Series Novella. Both are good.
Wolfsgate looks awesome. Deception and revenge? And it sounds like the heroine and hero team up and kick some booty? I’m in! Plus, I love the cover.
*giggle* Kay said booty. 😛
Michelle, Until the End of the World looks good! Buddy read at some point? That is, if you don’t get to it before I finish Dust to Dust. And Light Shadows. And On the Island. And A Place to Call Home. And A Little Lost. And Ten Below Zero. And Chasing Abby. And Unlit Star. And Eversea. And Remember When. And NOW the Nordic Lords MC series that MichelleS mentioned. 😉
Oh! And possibly Bad Romeo…thanks for that reminder, Kandace! 🙂
Niki, you won’t stay mad at Curran for long 😉
Bev, the cover of Eversea is beautiful especially after learning the meaning behind it. Thank you Cheryl! I added those two to my list. I really want to read the next one now!
Good lord is that all you have to read Amy?! It’s a good list though – loved quite a few of them – Ten Below Zero was especially a favorite for me. I think a buddy read would be perfect for that book though, just post when you get to the bottom of that list 😛
Hey I missed you all over the weekend! Just catching up on your comments……. I love you guys! I went back to my TBR list this weekend and read Jake Undone….. OMG!!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!! It was a nice slow buildup and lots of angst….. AWESOME!!!
Now I’m reading Maybe Not and it’s GREAT! They hate each other…. Heehee! (I know those words make Maryse squee…..haha)! Great read so far!! Warren’s inner thoughts….hysterical!!!! I’ve been on a roll!
Oh and I loved Tack from MM, but seriously wanted to slap Tyra upside her head sometimes…. she was a whiny biatch!!! Lol!
Jean, I’m starting Maybe Not tonight. 🙂 although, it’s a short one so you may be finished by the time I start. Then it will be Dark Light for me unless I try to fit a little Mateo time in beforehand. That one is just squirming in my tbr list.
I am loving Maybe Not…. at 60% and will be done soon… it is short but typical Coleen Hoover amazingness!!!!!
Love in Spanish also awesome! I was lucky to read LIE and LIS one after the other! Great!
Jean, is Warren Ridge’s best friend/roommate in Maybe Someday? I was trying to remember/place who he is. Also, was Bridgett in MS or a new character?
Reading The Record series and loving it. 😉
Cheryl they were both in MS…Ridge’s roommates. The story actually takes place as Ridge is still with Maggie and just meeting Sydney. It is sooooo good!
Oh and Bridgette is the roommate who thought Sidney was deaf and would talk behind her back while she was in the room…..
I started reading it and was laughing out loud like a madwoman within the first few pages!
Honored you used my blurb on this site. “Untouched” is a REALLY good book. I think others will enjoy it as much as I did!
