—> LATEST UPDATE: March 13th 2011
Jen suggested a few awesomely priced e-books (in my freebie post), so that sent me on a paranormal bargain hunt. Not only are these a great deal, but the majority have high ratings, and some are even from best-selling series!
I’ve tried to select books with mostly only good/great reviews and/or full length (although some “short stories might slip in if it’s from a well known author). For those of you who are in the mood to try a new author (some self-published stuff is fantastic), or perhaps the first book in a hugely popular series, there’s a little of everything here.
If you’ve read any of these, let me know what you thought!

That’s all I could find for today…if I’m missing any, let me know and I’ll add them
I can’t believe some of these prices for the Kindle . I just paid 7.99 for Destined for an early grave for my nook 🙁
That’s probably an early intro price, I think I paid 6.99 to 7.99 for that series. I have both kindle and nook on my phone though. I need to order some of these. JR Rain, I’ve read and she’s pretty good!!
Man,,,Im thinking maybe I should have got a kindle..instead of the Nook…lollol
Ok guys! I “freebie-deal-ey” Nook’d you ;). Check the bottom of the main page and there’s an add-on for you guys!
Hi Maryse – Here are three websites that I use to keep up with free and cheap Kindle books:
1) Book on the Knob – booksontheknob.blogspot.com – focuses on Kindle freebies, but also tries to post Nook and Sony deals as well as UK only Kindle deals
2) Daily Cheap Reads – dailycheapreads.com – focuses mainly on cheap and free Kindle deals
3) Kindleboard forum – kindleboards.com – This is a great resource in general for Kindle owners, but in the Book Bazaar section it also includes a monthly Free books thread and a Bargain books thread that any member can post to as they find deals during the month.
I subscribe to the Kindleboards threads and I check the other two at least once or twice a day because sometimes freebies are posted for just a couple of hours. I read so much that my book budget would be completely out of control if I didn’t try to keep my cost per book down and I’ve found some great authors this way since I’m much more willing to try a “new to me” author when the first book is cheap or free. Hope this helps.
Hi Jen! You rock! That’ll help for sure. Tons of stuff out there. I will re-organize them here and keep it paranormal-centric to make it easier for us paranormal addicts.
I got to pick up that new Cat and Bones, but since I have the kindle on my desktop thing I think I am going to go that route!
Also thinking about My Blood Approves – has anyone read this?
I’m gonna start that whole series soon. She’s a self published author who has had great success. She’s on the USA Today best seller list, plus one of her books series just got optionned for a movie (Trylle).
