Since the Tuesday release list is just SO huge… even too huge to put anything on it other than the Tuesday releases, many of these earlier releases sometimes fall by the wayside. But they look so good and shouldn’t be penalized just ’cause they came out a few days before, or a few days after “the official Tuesday release day” right?
P.S. I’m currently working on reading the books from my 2015 reading challenge and was in the mood for a comedy (which of course is on there!). I’m currently reading The Rosie Project: A Novel (Don Tillman Book 1) (and it’s keeping me happy. SO MUCH fun!!!)
Okay so… here are 5 more brand spankin’ new releases, with covers, authors and/or blurbs that made me waggle my eyebrows. 😉
- Fighter by Tijan <— Tijan rocks the reader-world!!! And this is her latest release. 😀 Awwwww… he’s got a reason for needing to win, and it makes my heart swell! “…she’s back to chasing after a bail jumper. When she realizes the jumper is her ex-boyfriend, Jax, Dale gets dragged into helping him evade her brothers so he can win an underground fighting competition…“
- Consumed: A Devil Chaser’s MC Romance by L. Wilder <— yep. THAT cover. 😉 And Lauren is excited! “Consumed (A Devil Chaser’s MC romance) by L. Wilder is live!! Been looking forward to Bobby & Courtney’s story for soooooo long!!” Okay lemme check out this synopsis… “Courtney is a curvy, feisty bombshell who has watched her friends be swept off their feet by the alpha men of the Devil Chasers’ Motorcycle Club. She thinks she has met her match when she falls for one of the MC bad boys, but a vindictive act against the Devil Chasers will change her forever.“
- Consume Me (Ravage MC#3) by Ryan Michele <— how could I not waggle my eyebrows at this cover. “Prospect Andrew “Tug” Tugger wants two things. One, to become a member of the Ravage Motorcycle Club, and two, Blaze, the sexy brunette whose eyes set him on fire. Only one of those things is under his control, and he is done waiting.“
- #TripleX by Christine Zolendz and Angelisa Stone <— this one appears to be making waves, too! Renee says: “This book had me peeing in my pants it was so funny.” and Rachel agrees: “It is the funniest book you will ever read.” HEY!! I could use some funny right now. 😀 YAY ME!!!
- Dominic: The Prince (Ties of Steel Book 2) by MJ Fields <— HE just moved from Italy to NJ… “Delaney Johnson is starting over after a break-up and graduating college. She has landed the job of her dreams in NYC. Arrangements had been made to stay with her best friend, Nikki Bassett, and her fiancé’, Abe O’Donnell. Feeling that her luck has suddenly changed, she stops to play a few slots, just for fun. She finds herself winning big, and gains an admirer. One hot night of uninhibited sex with a stranger takes her places she never knew she could go.“
- When We Collide by A.L. Jackson <— Plus a bonus super-sale tried-and-true book that SO many LOVE (and I love this author, too!!) Jessica LOVED it: She said: “Maryse, one book that I’ve read recently and really really loved was When We Collide by A.L. Jackson. That book had me physically and emotionally shaken up. I loved every minute of it.”
Ok, I’m going to try #TripleX first. Sounds funny 🙂
I like funny!! 😛
J.J. McAvoy’s book 2 in her Ruthless People series comes out Tues. Book 1 was incredible….lots of great reviews. Mob romance/arranged marriage between an Italian Mafia Princess & an Irish mob boss.
The Rosie Project was one of my favorite books I read last year! I have a child with autism, so the humor is totally relatable! I hope you enjoy!
Ooh! I read When We Collide when it had the other cover, and it was good! Then again, I love how emotion evoking all of A.L. Jackson’s books are. 😉 And Christine Zolendz…loved her Mad World series so I’m sure TripleX will be worth the read too!
I should have gone with funny after The Mason List. I started Escaping Destiny (finally!) since book 4 comes out on Tuesday, and I forgot how p!ssed off Ryder makes me! He’s a hot piece of sexy Fae-meat, but I’m about ready to castrate those Fae-balls of his with some twine. Slowly. Give new meaning to the phrase blue balls. Oh, I’m sorry…was that inappropriate? 😛
Just Let Me Love You (Judge Me Not #3) by S.R. Grey released early on Amazon and B&N. The trilogy is complete, and this was by far my favorite. There’s a heartfelt HEA that had me both smiling and grabbing the tissues.
*just grins at the fae-meat and fae-balls comment*
All I want for Christmas Anthology had Fighter in it, for those who got it. Loved it, but it was a short story. I hope she writes more with those two, because it was almost a teaser of a really great series.
Currently re-reading Iced in prep for Tuesday. 🙂
I didn’r re-read Iced for Tuesday’s release of Burned, because I thought she was switching back to Mac and Barrons story… I do have a few holes in my memory, but hope they’ll fill in while I read. It would be nice if there were 4-5 pages of, “what’s happened so far”…. is that too much to ask of authors when they write a series??
I am finishing Murder of Crows. I don’t know how to describe it… maybe, “quiet”? I LOVE that the author tell the whole story through conversations and short scenes. Her amazing writing style plus a very cool alternate world keeps me interested when not that much has happened, relatively speaking.
MichelleS – I didn’t re read Iced either. I am hoping it will be Mac and Barrons which is what I thought it was supposed to be.
Started reading The Sweet Gum Tree last night. I just love these kinds if stories where they meet when they are little!
Think I will re-read Escaping Destiny to get ready for Seducing Destiny that comes out tomorrow, although since I just finished The Mason List I feel like I need something funny/lighthearted.
Amy *Ryder deserves that*
Have reserved Burned at the Library, so will read Iced next while I wait for that to come in.
Even if it is Mac and Barron’s story, it was the only one I haven’t read more than once. I needed the refresher since some major things happened or were mentioned. I forgot a lot of those things. :-\
I just started Consume Me (Ravage MC) by Ryan Michele. I have read all previous 3 books and they definitely satisfy my MC fix. Even better, this one is free with Kindle Unlimited.
Some deals I’m seeing:
Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher is .99
Wicked by Jennifer Armentrout is 1.99
The Redemption by SL Scott is .99
Alienated by Melissa Landers is .99
Burned by Tara Sivec is .99
Indebted by JL Beck is .99
Conjuring Darkness by Melanie James is .99
I’m rereading the entire Fever series and kinda glad because I forgot quite a bit. It’s not taking me as long as I thought either – the first couple books are not as long. It’s nice when you read a series over though and it has the same impact.
Correction to my post. I wrote down the wrong book. I am reading Consumed by L. Wilder and it is free on Kindle Unlimited.
Wicked is only 1.99?? Thanks Michelle! I’ll one-click it but I’m not reading it until more of the series is out. JA’s series make me want to hide out with my iPad and gorge back to back on her books. *giggle*
Cheryl, Ryder is redeeming himself but there is still a big-a$$ faelephant in the room, and I’m a little apprehensive about how he is going to handle it. And I so need to get back into the Fever series! *sigh*
Syn’s favorite line…”F@#king fairy!” *snort* She’s awesome.
Amy I love that line too. 🙂
“Big-a$$ faelephant,” great one Amy. 😉 That one is a BIG problem…
Burned, as far as I know follows both heroines. I skimmed through the excerpt and it picks up, at a certain point, were we left Iced. And at that point is following Dani.
MichelleS there is suppose to be a character guide, which I’m so relieved about, lol.
Now on to important things…Murder of Crows!!! This def going to re read soon.
Things pick up. But yes it is slower but really sets up storylines and opens their world up for the next book. And it has Skippy. I love that opening scene, but your not a wolf. “I’m always a Wolf” poor Simon.
Seeing a lot of good buys today so here’s some more for ya:
Precarious by Bella Jewel is .99
Rowdy by Jay Crownover is 1.99
All Broke Down and All Lined Up by Cora Carmack are .99 each
He’s the Man by M Malone is .99
Uncovered by Emily Snow is .99
Beyond Jealousy by Kit Rocha is .99
No Flowers Required by Cari Quinn is .99
I have Wicked too Amy but am waiting I think as well. I read so many series last year that I’m dying to get the next book and I’m not very patient! Add now the Red Rising trilogy and Never Never in just the past week…I need to stop with the series for a while.
I forgot how adorable Barrons was when he is painting Mac’s nails in book 1 and then that hot scene after fighting Malluce in book 2. Onto book 3…
Oh Murder of Crows! I’m rereading both before 3/3. I think Simon and Meg’s relationship grows and her place in the group. Like Bev said it is a storyline builder of a book.
Bev – the part where they smell blood, but she didn’t cut herself!!! Can’t a girl have a monthly cycle without a bunch of “others” getting all worked up? Poor Simon is right. At this point, everybody is on to him except him and Meg, they are oblivious. And Skippy was just introduced. Where the heck are the ponies?? And the whole back story about how they acquire the cassandra sangue… taking them away from their families…. getting me all worked up! Have to finish so I won’t get behind with Burned tomorrow, because I know you all will be devouring it!!!
MichelleS, I know at that part it was poor Meg. Though it’s funny I saw it as embarrassing but the Others didn’t see it that way. It sounds like you have a wonderful reading week lined up. I think after Burned I’m diving into my re read of Heart of the West. I know I loved it but have forgotten the details. So may keep me from a book hangover or funk if Burned is as good as I hope it to be.
Michelle, I tend to re read certain parts over and over again. So then it is a usually a lovely surprise to re read from page 1. All those little moments like maybe just a look.
Michelle, it’s the same with her Gargoyle series…I’m not starting it until they are all out. I had a hard enough time waiting for each Covenant and Lux book to come out. 😉
