MichelleS November 10, 2014 at 7:56 PM

Love, in Spanish – mui bueno!!! yay!!! That guy was HAWT – all soccer-player-foreign- older man- smoldering!!!

Sinners on Tour – my first rock-n-roll series – super steamy – will keep that mind –

Beyond series – I just called this Dystopian Porn in another thread! ha! but I love it!!

yay – you’re back…….. :-)

MichelleS November 10, 2014 at 8:08 PM

Also – Love, in Spanish gets my vote for BEST COVER of 2014. That guy is making my temperature go up a couple of degrees, at least. I’d have picked it for the cover alone. I think it’s better than Lover Avenged – GASP! I know, I know! That’s been my number one for years!!! Okay – useless rant over….

Cheryl November 10, 2014 at 8:28 PM

Love in Spanish. I will read anything Karina Halle writes!!!

I agree Michelle- yummy!! ;)

After the Rain sounds good too, but $7.99?! Ouch!!

bev November 10, 2014 at 8:36 PM

Lol, so I’m thinking I need to move Love, in English up in my tbr.
That is a very nice cover.

You guys have got to check out Command me by Geneva Lee…the next book, Conquer Me comes out tomorrow!!! It’s kind of a forbidden romance! He’s a dirty talking Prince! The first book is free right now on Amazon!

Amy November 10, 2014 at 10:15 PM

Dex or Mateo??? Maybe both at the same time. Mmmmmm…

Oh, drag your minds out of the gutter…I was talking about *reading* them! Sheesh. :P

Cheryl, Renee Carlino is worth paying that price. ;)

Lauren November 10, 2014 at 10:50 PM

Really want to read Kid’s story. He was a favorite of mine in the Captive in the Dark series.

Maryse November 10, 2014 at 11:04 PM

LOL Amy!!!!!! My mind went RIGHT there. Sorry. ;)

Maryse November 10, 2014 at 11:04 PM

I did like Kid too, Lauren. My heart ached for them…

Maryse November 10, 2014 at 11:04 PM

How forbidden Kelli? I like that!

Maryse November 10, 2014 at 11:06 PM

Mateo is gorgeous, bev & MichelleS. Agreed! :D

Kelli November 10, 2014 at 11:18 PM

Maryse, his family doesn’t approve of her because she’s not royalty. I would say it’s a New Adult/erotica if that makes sense! Lol Soooo good!

Amy November 11, 2014 at 2:13 AM

Forbiddeny, a dirty-talking prince, erotica, and it’s free??? Oh, I am one-clicking that one. :D

Fabi November 11, 2014 at 9:19 AM

Kellie just rang my bell. hahaha I’m getting that one as well as Love, in Spanish

Fabi November 11, 2014 at 9:21 AM

Kelli sorry about the misspell. Auto correct thought it knew your name better than you did. My sister in law does her name just like you do. :-)

Lee Hock November 11, 2014 at 9:48 AM

Maryse, I took a detour from my norm of reading romance/erotica, and read The Art of Hearing Heartbeats by Jan-Phillip Sendker. It’s 3.99 on amazon right now. What a beautiful love story, I started reading it and did nothing else for 20 hours straight. It’s about a daughter searching for clues in her father’a disappearance. The story takes place in Burma, where she uncovers some incredible secrets. 5+ stars, I highly recommend it!

Jean November 11, 2014 at 12:00 PM

Kelli, I agree Command was great! Thanks for the heads-up on Conquer Me!

Bev, I haven’t read Love In English yet either…. Glad to see I’m not the only one! Moving it up on my list now!!!

Kelli November 11, 2014 at 3:16 PM

Haha Fabi! Happens all the time! :)

Cheryl November 11, 2014 at 5:43 PM

Amy, so thinking that when I read it- Renee Carlino is worth the high price, (or I should say her books *snicker*), and wow the image of Dex and Mateo *snort*

Amy November 11, 2014 at 7:20 PM

LOL Cheryl!!! I so set that one up, didn’t I?? *giggle*

Nikole November 11, 2014 at 10:19 PM

Love, in Spanish……..AMAZING! I devoured it in 2.5 hours!! Now off to start Nine Minutes!!

MichelleS November 12, 2014 at 8:37 AM

For any of ya’ll who still have Love, in English on your TBR list – READ IT. You wont’ be disappointed. I am hit and miss with Karina Halle. I love some of her work and others just miss the mark. But she is always a great writer and writes really strong characters. This is one of her best. I am thinking THE best. They are such an odd couple, but it works. And I am a sucker for a European soccer player. Some romance novels just stick with me. This was one. I plan to read the follow up tonight (only 150 pages – that’s disappointing).

MichelleS November 12, 2014 at 8:41 AM

OOH – I see Wild and Free up there as a pre-order – by Kristen Ashley. I love this series (her PNR series, the Three Series). I have been a bit let down by her latest releases, so I have big hopes for this one. I am hoping her PNR mojo is still strong. And the Irish brogue is nice too. Yummy.

Jean November 12, 2014 at 9:00 AM

31% into Love in English! Loving it! Why oh why did I wait so long to read this book?!?!?

Fabi November 12, 2014 at 9:06 AM

There’s a free novella follow up to the Vain series. You can get it directly from the author.

I went really crazy 1 clicking yesterday. As if I needed more books in my tbr list. :-( I keep telling myself I won’t buy unless it’s an expected sequel or fantastic sale but there seem to be a lot of books meeting that criteria lately. Then there’s always the one that catches my eye while I’m buying something else. And the ones that I get to satisfy a particular mood.

This is so weird. I’ve never bought more books than I could read before. I’m starting to feel like I need an intervention or magic powers to inhale these books. Lol

Fabi November 12, 2014 at 9:07 AM

Glad you’re reading it now Jean. Awesome story.

Amy November 12, 2014 at 2:27 PM

Jean, right?!? Not long after I finished it my OPI Brazil collection was delivered, and even though LIE was set in Spain (I *do* know a little bit about geography, thankyouverymuch!) I couldn’t help but feel like that collection was just made for LIE. Check out these swatches (and I still say OPI Scores a Goal should be renamed Mateo Scores a Goal!):

Fabi, the number of unread books on my Kindle app was getting ridiculous so I started just getting the samples instead of actually buying the books. I know, something must be off in the world for that to be happening. ;)

Jean November 12, 2014 at 2:34 PM

Haha Amy! Great collection! Yeah, I am filled with anxiety and have stomach pains over this one. I’m at 40% and trying to discreetly read at my desk because I HAVE to know what’s going to happen! How the heck is this going to end??!?!? It better end good or I will be heartbroken!
