in Latest Book Releases

<— Okay is today the best book day in the world, or what? The new releases and even the bargains are blowing my mind!! I don’t know which to one-click and start reading first.

Well no… WE ALL know what I’m reading today, because MADDOX BROTHERS that’s why. LOL! That’s just a given. ;) The Maddox brothers rock my world, especially one particular bad-ass brooding book boyfriend. Travis is my forever book-boyfriend. But I’m always curious if there’s another Maddox brother that can affect me as much as he did. Thank goodness he has so many brothers. More fun for me. For us!! :D

But! There are plenty on this list that have me excited. Like these: Throb (LOL! No not just the title. She makes a contract with a billionaire but falls for his brother…), The Traveling Man (the premise of this one sort of reminds me of a Bonnie Dee “feel”, so I’m curious to see if it affects my like her books do. He’s in a traveling circus and she falls for him…), Surrender (she’s a stripper and falls for one of the bouncers. The blurb gave me a “sounds SO good” feel), Forbidden (Well…. he’s a priest, you see… eek), Fear Me (He’s HER BULLY!!!), Lucas (she requests protection from the resident bad-ass, in exchange for part of her land… and marriage), Alaskan Dawn (the cover didn’t say much to me, but the blurb sure did!! She’s the surrogate for her twin’s baby…) Cartel (OMG that blurb too!! Her drug lord father messes up and SHE has to pay the price…) – actually there are a few MOB reads below that look amazing!!! And of course, a few more (I made sure to highlight ‘em with my comments). :D

P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere).

P.P.S. Get Maryse’s Book Blog updates delivered by email (you’ll get one daily email that will have each post from that day consolidated on it).

Melanie loves this one! “Just finished book two in this series and it was INCREDIBLE. If you’re in the mood for a mob/mafia series you have to read this one. I am dying for book 3, releases in March.” and Lauren agrees: “I read book 1 the day it came out & went CRAZY waiting on book 2….now I’m going crazy for book 3. I’ve gotta stop doing this to myself!”

Yeah, reading dilemma solved. I’m going to do like Bev suggested and leave Burned on my tbr until it’s close to the next release date.

It might kill me to not start on the next Maddox brother today, but after two CR reads, I need PNR. Either Bound by Flames or Viper Games first. Then Beautiful Redemption and Ace’s Wild.

I’m not starting anything until tonight. What is everyone else reading?

Laura January 27, 2015 at 12:19 PM

Fabi I’m on escaping destiny oh I love them! There a lot to chose on the list today! I’m with u I’m waiting for a while to read burned plus hoping the price will come down £9.99!! Really a McDonald’s is cheaper than that and it’s a full meal with draft coke!

Kim January 27, 2015 at 12:22 PM

Does the Kristen Ashley Mountain Men series need to be read in order?

Kim January 27, 2015 at 12:22 PM

Does Kristen Ashley’s Mountain Men series need to be read in order?

Jean January 27, 2015 at 12:24 PM

Holy Hannah! That cover of Throb…..just wow!!!!! And I loved Vi Keeland’s Fighter series! 1-click!!! Too many books to choose from this week! And something about Falling for Jillian has peaked my interest….but I notice it’s #3 in a series. Is it standalone or do I have to read the first 2 books? Anyone?

Maryse January 27, 2015 at 12:25 PM

Kim! Not the first two… they are completely separate from each other.

And they can all essentially be read as standalones as they cover new couple in each one, but after #2, I would start reading them in order as they all make cameos etc… :D

Fabi January 27, 2015 at 12:30 PM

Laura, oops, I meant to get to that one next. Oh well, it’s Viper Games for me. Too many new installments came out around the same time.

Jean January 27, 2015 at 12:38 PM

By the way Maryse, I am loving The Girl on the Train….. 65% and still clueless! Lol! Can’t wait to see how it ends!

Tessa January 27, 2015 at 12:52 PM

Just finished Second Debt and woah. The debt was brutal, but the ending was unexpected. I didn’t think it would happen, honestly. Especially this early. It answered more questions from book one and two than I expected too. *sighs* Three more books to go before there isn’t a CH.

Cartel… that looks good! So does Throb. However, today, it’ll be Bound by Flames. I don’t know if I love it because of Vlad or the two together. Either way… Sexy vampire time!

Tasha J January 27, 2015 at 1:01 PM

So many good looking ones! Cartel and Throb look pretty tempting, but will have to wait as I’m hooked on The Darkest Minds as per K.A Linde’s rec from your post yesterday. 43% in and so far love it! I had quite the hangover from Thicker Than Blood a cpl weeks ago, just felt kind of empty afterwards, and even though I read a cpl good ones since, they didn’t really suck me in. So thanks for that, love your lists!

Jessica M January 27, 2015 at 1:17 PM

Wings Over Poppies released too and it’s sooo good! It’s a second chance romance. He’s a veteran and she’s an artist. He disappears but she never stops looking for him. It’s awesome.

Amy January 27, 2015 at 1:29 PM

MARYSE!! You weren’t kidding when you said today was the best book day in the world! :D I’m gonna have to come back to this list when I have time to be, ahem, discerning…otherwise I’m gonna end up one-clicking at least 30 of the above books. Not joking. And I *think* y’all know me well enough by now to know that I really will one-click that many.

Oh! Something else to be excited about today – and maybe it will make our Northeast polish-loving friends feel a little warmer (brrrrrrr you guys!) ’cause, ya know, Hawaii and all that:

Amy January 27, 2015 at 1:35 PM

Tessa, you’re killing me. Do you not know what that does to me when you react that way to a book??

That sounds *good* Jessica…I have a soft spot for vets. ;) Thanks for that one!

Okay, first Maryse and now Jean…I’m moving Girl on the Train up on my (somewhat existent and forever shifting) list.

donna tanner January 27, 2015 at 1:55 PM

I had heard that Corps Security first book was a DNF for some one here, well I finish it and it was ridiculous. I hope the next one in the series is better. Girl on the Train was fantastic!! Going to start Second chance in Paris

Michelle January 27, 2015 at 2:05 PM

Whew this list is going to break the bank this week! Quite a few pnr I have to get and there are a bunch on the contemporary list too. I really need to read the Indebted series too with all the great feedback.

Edie Claire #62 on the list was a surprise for me a while back. I loved Long Time Coming (it’s free) and right now she has a box set out with three romantic suspense novels for .99

Maryse January 27, 2015 at 2:08 PM

Okay I just added TWO more that sound awesome. “Fear Me” (he’s her bully!!! And it sounds CRAZY!) and Wings Over Poppies (thanks Jessica!)

Maryse January 27, 2015 at 2:09 PM

THEY ARE GORGEOUS AMY!!! The red one, the purple, the orange and the pink right next to the orange I WANT!! :D

S.R. Grey January 27, 2015 at 2:11 PM

Just Let Me Love You (Judge Me Not #3) is out now (on Amazon, B&N, and ITunes). Plus, Amazon hasn’t bumped up the price for I Stand Before You (Judge Me Not #1) yet, so if you hurry you can still get it for 99 cents.

K January 27, 2015 at 2:30 PM

Is theEchoes of Scotland Street coming 2/3/2015 different from the one that came out in October last year? Just curious :) . Thanks!

Tessa January 27, 2015 at 2:58 PM

Fear Me, Bully book? Alright, that right there is my weakness. I’m gong to have to get it.

Amy, I wasn’t even close to expressing how the book turns my head, heart and stomach into knots. I could talk about the anticipation of the first debt, and the horror. Worse, in this book, the second debt, which it gets progressively worse. Reading the second debt was due, my stomach knotting wondering what it is. Then, the horror of knowing, the sadness as it happens…

But I won’t talk about that. :-P

bev January 27, 2015 at 3:08 PM

Amy, I like the Lava Flow, Suzy Shops, and Geko. The geko just looks different and fun and very spring/summer.

Michelle, I liked when he asks her how would she like him to kill people, a way that won’t upset her, lol.
This and the dystopian list are making want to one click.

Maryse January 27, 2015 at 3:10 PM

Thank you K! *whoops* I took it out. :)

Patty January 27, 2015 at 3:14 PM

Preorders….echoes on Scotland street by samantha young has already been out..did you mean a different one in the series.

Patty January 27, 2015 at 3:15 PM

I know I was waiting for a sequel in the series.

Jean January 27, 2015 at 3:22 PM

Wings Over Poppies sounds great! I am such a sucker for Vets!

Michelle January 27, 2015 at 3:31 PM

Ha Bev I liked that too. I just read the part where she’s not handling any ‘snakes’. Oh and I love her whole family especially her grandmother. Really great start to a series.

Jean January 27, 2015 at 3:32 PM

So after just 1-clicked Wings Over Poppies and noticing it was the 2nd book to a series, I checked out the 1st book, Hope Over Fear, looks great and awesome reviews and only $.99……. just sayin’ in case you didn’t 1-click enough already today!

Michelle January 27, 2015 at 3:45 PM

Another one I saw that looks good is Past Heaven by Laura Ward.

Hope Over Fear has been on my tbr for a while. I need to read it especially since that second book does look good.

Amy January 27, 2015 at 4:31 PM

“I am such a sucker for Vets!”

Really Jean? You’re a “sucker” for vets?? BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Woo-hoo, thanks for the fodder! LOL!!

Amy January 27, 2015 at 4:41 PM

Aw crud, Tessa…now you’ve really made it move up on my list! That series is gonna be fun. *My* kind of fun. ;)

Okay Jean, now that I’m done laughing at you (only ’cause I luffs ya *muah*), thank you for the heads up on Hope Over Fear. :)

I know, Maryse and Bev…those colors are beautiful, right? I even want that funky Pineapple color with the glitter for my toenails!

Cheryl January 27, 2015 at 5:06 PM

Amy, love those colors- I like the blue-looks kinda metallic.

Moving Girl on the Train up on my tbr list too!!

Throb and Determined to Love look good, although DTL looks like it is book#2 in a trilogy. Probably will wait until it is complete before starting it.

Also want to one-click Take me With You, since I have Take Me for Granted on my tbr list. ;)

Niki January 27, 2015 at 5:18 PM

So many great ones to one-click!!!! I t think Fear me, Beautiful Redemption,The Traveling Man, and Throb are on the top of my list!!!

Michelle January 27, 2015 at 5:24 PM

Oh I just swooned a little Bev. The carnations! A total alpha male with a romantic sweet side…Andrews is so good at those complex characters. Rogan is reminiscent of Curran from Kate Daniels and I can’t get too much of that!

I’m liking some of those OPI colors Amy especially the mai tai and pineapple one.

Niki January 27, 2015 at 5:24 PM

Thanks Maryse for the great list!!!

Does anyone know if you have to read the Cat and Bones series before reading The Night Prince series??? I love paranormal but I have not been able to get into Halfway to the grave…just started and stopped a bunch of times!!

Jean January 27, 2015 at 5:33 PM

Ha Amy! I should have known better with you slinking around!

bev January 27, 2015 at 6:08 PM

Michelle, that was a great scene. I think I was a little surprised by it, which was fun. I just love a slow burn and stories that really take the time to build the relationship.

Amy January 27, 2015 at 6:57 PM

Cheryl and Michelle, those colors make you want Spring to get here a little quicker, huh? ;)

S.R. Grey, I didn’t want to potentially spoil anything by reading the blurbs for books 2 and 3 of Judge Me Not (I’m pretty sure I already have book 1…I think), but are the same characters in each book or is each book a different couple?

Amy January 27, 2015 at 6:59 PM

*snicker* That’s me Jean…slinking around and smacking sacs! :P

bev January 27, 2015 at 7:23 PM

I’m not as big a tea as coffee drinker, but am liking it mmore. Any way I thought this was a cute list for tea/book lovers.

S.R. Grey January 27, 2015 at 8:33 PM

Amy, yes, the Judge Me Not trilogy (which is now complete) follows one couple, Chase and Kay, on their journey to find forgiveness for their pasts through love.

Maryse January 27, 2015 at 8:37 PM

OMG Amy and Jean! Smacking sacs!!! Baaaaaahahhahahaha!

MichelleS January 28, 2015 at 8:46 AM

Bev – you said, ” I just love a slow burn and stories that really take the time to build the relationship”… well, have I got a book for you! And Michelle. And maybe Fabi, if she’s in the right mood for it. I was searching for my next good fantasy find… and this is it. Loving it so much. It’s called Radiance, Wraith Kings Book 1. Just released. Fantastic writing. She’s a human, royalty. He’s not human, and royalty. Arranged marriage. Sounds corny, I know, but somehow this author has a fresh, original, wonderful point of view and writing style. She thinks he’s hideous. He thinks she’s hideous. Funny and sweet and unbelievably good. I laughed out loud at the wedding feast! Can’t stop thinking about this book. Yay me! Burned who???? heeeheehee

Fabi January 28, 2015 at 9:04 AM

MichelleS I just put it on my wish list. :-) . I don’t think I’ve ever passed up one of your rrecommendations. :-)

I’m reading Viper Games right now. I love this urban fantasy series. And, of course, Feehan is a master story teller giving us gut twisting action perfectly blended with heart stopping romance.

Jessica M January 28, 2015 at 9:12 AM

I bought Radiance on Joana Wylde’s rec I’m going to move it up on my tbr!

Amy January 28, 2015 at 10:15 AM

Thanks S.R.! :D It’s been a bit since I’ve read a series that is all about one couple, at least that I can remember right now.

Yep Maryse, and it all started because of Barrons and V’Lane…Barrons can have his back now that he’s redeemed himself but V’Lane not so much. His is still getting smacked. :P

Michelle January 28, 2015 at 11:39 AM

Thanks Michelle! Highly recommend the Beauty Series… Loved it!

Janet January 28, 2015 at 2:45 PM

Thank goodness for ‘Beautiful Redemption’! I’ve read a lot of mediocre stories recently, only worthy of skimming. I couldn’t put this down – love this Maddox brother!

bev January 28, 2015 at 3:30 PM

MichelleS!!! Are you reading Grace Draven!?! Cause guess who I am reading? But I’m reading Master of Crows. Started last night and have only read a tiny bit. It’s been so long since I’ve read any fantasy. I grabbed a month or so ago when I saw buzz around it on a couple blogs. Oh, and to me you do not have to defend the MOC trope.

Amy January 28, 2015 at 5:11 PM

Michelle, more one-clicks?? Not that I’m complaining or anything. ;)

I just have to say this…Barrons is a d!ck but he sure is a likable d!ck. I said LIKE-able not lickable. Although…yeah, we can say he is that, too. :P Even though I ended up liking Ryder’s d!ckness in the Fae chronicles and loved who he became in Seducing Destiny, if Barrons ended up any different than how he is now then it would just *not* be as fun in the scenes with him. Holy hotness, that man during THAT part of Dreamfever… *sigh*

Michelle January 28, 2015 at 5:24 PM

Wait a minute, this is how you know you buy too many books…I have Master of Crows with all this Grace Draven talk and didn’t even realize! I think I might be reaching Amy level with my HUGE TBR list…and then look, I post more sales. I didn’t click on one in that list…yeah that counts as restraint…

I finished Sterling MichelleS. It fell off a little for me with the Adam business but I really liked it and will start Twist tonight. It looks like they get better as far as the reviews show and I’m really intrigued with the story. I might do a dual read and check out Master of Crows too.

Cheryl January 28, 2015 at 5:37 PM

“Likeable dick” bwahahahahaha!!!!

Michelle S January 28, 2015 at 5:39 PM

I haven’t read Master of Crows, but, yes, it’s the same author. I read reviews that said this new one was even better, so I went straight for it. It’s a new series, so I am not missing anything. She’s a great writer and this is exactly what I like in a fantasy series. I just really like the h/H and the lore… and I really am laughing out loud at some parts. Potato. That’s all I’m saying….

I will check out that Feehan series, because I loved her Carpathians once-upon-a-time.

Lisa M January 28, 2015 at 7:32 PM

Finished Beautiful Redemption!!! Jamie McGuire did it again freaking fantastic book!! It’s release just so coincided with me being sick in bed!!! So what better way to rest then to read!!! Love those Maddox boys!! Which one of the twins will be next??? What about Shepley I wonder if he will get a book??? Also read the Indebted series by Pepper Winters all 3 books I was sick in bed for 2 days!! I’m fast reader too!!!! Such an interesting story how do these authors come up their material??? So creative!!! When is the Pepper’s next book in the series coming out???

Maryse January 28, 2015 at 8:07 PM

Amy January 28, 2015 at 9:10 PM

*snicker* :P

Fabi January 28, 2015 at 11:33 PM

*snicker* *snort* Amy my stomach hurts from laughing so much at your sac smacks and likeable d!cks.

Good thing Viper Game skipped right from buildup to boiling so I’m quickly heading into steam now. :-)
I’m thinking you could probably read this as a stand alone. You might miss a few of the references to the older characters but it’s really all explained right here in this book. This series is a book per character. They’re all hot, but this one may be a runaway train from the get go.

Antonella January 29, 2015 at 4:42 AM

Lisa M, On a Facebook post today Pepper said she hopes to release 3rd Debt end of March/April.

MichelleS January 29, 2015 at 8:07 AM

I finished Wraith Kings, Book 1…. devoured it. Am now in that yucky position where I am awaiting book two. Why did I start a new series??? At least it wasn’t a cliffhanger. Just classic fantasy ending – wrapped up, but then a lead in for the next installment. Loved it. 4.5 stars, because it was a wee bit too short and there were those few “a few months later” scenes that I would have loved to just see filled with more story because I loved the people and the story. So that’s just me wanting MORE!! Recommend it for fantasy lovers.

I downloaded the sample for Cartel. I think that might be my next read. Get away from the Fae and the wraiths and get back to men that are just as wicked, but 100% human! Not sure yet. I’m sure I’ll dquirrel by the time I am ready to sit down and read tonight. What’s everyone else reading?

Lisa M January 29, 2015 at 11:05 AM

Thanks Antonella, I will be keeping my eye out for that one. Have you read the series yet? Just finished Throb!!! Hot hot hot!!!! My hubby says I’m getting addicted to reading again!! Oops I was so busy with company and the holidays I was off track!! Now I’m backed to being obsessed. You would think after reading a book you need to reflect!! Oh I do and then what should I read next kicks in!! Too many late nights!!!

Michelle January 29, 2015 at 11:33 AM

MichelleS I finished Twist all in one sitting last night! I could not stop and boy did I LOVE the ‘twist’. I really adore him! This part: “(Insert hottie’s name), are you alone?” His voice was just a whisper, but it unleashed a chaos in my soul. “Not anymore.” Swoony swoon I’m going right to the next book!

samantha January 29, 2015 at 11:34 AM

Woah! Landslide was an excellent book. This is the worst book hangover I’ve had since Beautiful Disaster, Thoughtless, etc. This has one of the best written epilogues I’ve ever read and I needed tissues. The writing was great, plot was real feeling and the MC’s were both relatable. I laughed, cried and at times wanted to scream and slap someone. Perfect mix of romance, suspense, and gave me all the “feels’.

Jean January 29, 2015 at 11:55 AM

Michelle you are killing me. I can’t keep up. Love the Hart series!

Michelle January 29, 2015 at 12:04 PM

:( Jean should I not post the sales anymore…I figured this time a lot were free so that was better. I check everyday so it’s easy for me to add them but yeah it’s temptation I know!

Jean January 29, 2015 at 12:11 PM

NO! You should definitely post sales. It is me who has the problem with self control and 1-clicking! I have almost 550 books downloaded right now to be read. I will never catch up and I especially love free! Thank you!!!!

Michelle January 29, 2015 at 12:26 PM

Haha well who doesn’t like free. I’ve got ya beat too with my tbr…I don’t even want to know the current number but it’s scary. I surely will never catch up but I like options…lots of options!

Amy January 29, 2015 at 12:26 PM

Not post sales?? Blasphemy!!!!

Withholding free and sale info is just not right. So don’t do that. Okay? Okay. ;)

Ladies…Therapy by Kathryn Perez is GOOD!!! Some angst, some emotion, some rotten people, some sweetness, some “no freaking way”…okay, a good amount of “no freaking way.” And for .99? Let me know if any of you read it so we can have an empathy party! :D And the Dork of the Day award goes to…

Amy January 29, 2015 at 12:28 PM

Michelle, didn’t you say that your TBR is “Amy level”? *giggle*

Jean January 29, 2015 at 12:34 PM

You guys make me feel better about my TBR! Lol!

I haven’t read Therapy yet, but I have it…. Heehee!

Michelle January 29, 2015 at 12:35 PM

Uh yeah ‘Amy level’ is a descriptor now in use…aka over 1000 *cringe*

I had Therapy on my list because you mentioned it earlier Amy so I got it today. I’m good about adding the books you all recommended/from Maryse’s lists and buying a lot on sale so that should count as some type of restraint…indirect but it counts…yes it does!

Jean January 29, 2015 at 12:37 PM

I do the same thing Michelle! Tons of lists and spreadsheets! And yes, it counts!

Amy January 29, 2015 at 1:02 PM

Uh, pretty soon “Amy level” will be over 2000. :| True story. Swear on a stack of ebooks.

But…BUT…some of those are samples. The majority of my additions lately have been sample-clicks, not one-clicks. So, see Jean and Michelle…any kind of restraint counts!

Fabi January 29, 2015 at 1:09 PM

Michelle as fast as you read, I’m surprised you have a tbr list. Yes, please keep posting the freebies and super sales. I now look forward to your lists too! I get every freebie you post and snap up most super sales – in case I ever run out of things to read – ha! If my tbr reaches Amy levels you will be directly responsible <— in a totally good way.

It seems that while I'm working and reading 300+ page books like I prefer, I only average a couple of books a week. I average 1-clicking a lot more than that!

Michelle S January 29, 2015 at 2:23 PM

Michelle – about “Twist” – if I recall, this is where one seriously hot character is introduced??? OMG – it just gets better and better!!! THAT guy is crazy hot (does his name rhyme with Kogan?). It’s been too long…. does he call her his Raven? or something like that? oh SWOON is right!

Tessa January 29, 2015 at 3:05 PM

I just pretend samples don’t count, though all these awesome freebies are making my tbr grow even when I maxed my eBook fund. My tbr is at 258 but most of those were free or are Kindle Unlimited. My samples are at 131. So, my tbr isn’t insane? (I can pretend!)

Anyone else read Bound by Flames? Did I read right and there will be a book four even though the series ended? I’m confused.

Michelle January 29, 2015 at 3:30 PM

Oh boy over 2000 Amy! That level does not even have a name…you’ll have to christen it.

Fabi, I can accept responsibility then ;) and will keep posting them. I almost always click more than I read in a week so I will never catch up but I do not get anxiety over it at all. Again fast reading just means I have to buy more books so not a good thing completely.

MichelleS, yes he is introduced in book 2 but omiiigoooddd I seriously almost combust with some of the things he says and does (calls her little raven gush)! I’m smitten – he’s exactly the type of alpha character that is perfect in my mind. I’m hooked like losing sleep hooked! I’ll be honest the first book was good not great but the second catapulted my rating. It was the intriguing premise in book 1 that pushed me on and really really glad I kept going. I’m reading this series straight through for sure…who needs sleep!

Tessa I haven’t read it yet (was it good?) but there will be four books last time I checked.

Tessa January 29, 2015 at 3:40 PM

Michelle, it was good! I loved it, though it did let my mind wander at a few parts. A lot happened, and that kept me on my toes, but there were a few slower parts that had to happen. (does that make sense?) Glad to hear it was supposed to be four. The twist really was good, though, and made up for the slower sections. Also, big thank you on those lists. I have been getting so many freebies and one dollar deals due to it.

I’m reading Inevitable now. I’m not sure how I feel about it. So much is going on, and the reaction at times seem real, but then, at times, it doesn’t. It’s emotionally almost there, but not quite. Still have half the book to read still, so we’ll see…

Jean January 29, 2015 at 4:11 PM

Swore I wasn’t going to buy anything, but Samantha’s comment about Landslide had me 1-click immediately!

Cheryl January 29, 2015 at 4:25 PM

One-clicking Therapy. Thanks Michelle. ;)

Cheryl January 29, 2015 at 4:30 PM

Just finished Take me With You. It was book 2 in the Take Me series. Not your “typical” rock-star story-didn’t have a lot of the “on tour” life. More local performances in a college setting. Some angst, but not drawn out.

No idea what I am reading next…

Niki January 29, 2015 at 5:37 PM

Fear Me was really good!! Very intense and I was scared of the “Hero” the whole time…. it does end with a cliffhanger though!

Amy January 29, 2015 at 6:59 PM

Actually Michelle, a TBR list over 2000 does have a name…out-of-control or ridiculous or – probably the most fitting – ASININE!!! Yeah, that’s what we’ll call it. But remember, I’m not there…yet…

Wait, wait, wait…what’s this Landslide that was mentioned?

*scrolls up*

How did I miss that comment?!? Samantha, you used the magic words in your description…thanks!! :D

Samantha January 29, 2015 at 7:02 PM

It was seriously SO good and I’m a little hard to please ;)

Amy January 29, 2015 at 7:04 PM

Fear Me <—– hehe, that's what HE said. Yeah, yeah…that was cheesy, I know. ;)

ANYways…Niki, is it the one by BB Reid? There is another one by Elsie Snave that popped up but it's about angels…

Amy January 29, 2015 at 7:09 PM

Yay Samantha!! *clapping hands*

Not helping my TBR list any…but so what! YAY!!

Cheryl January 29, 2015 at 7:41 PM

Samantha I’m with Amy, you said all the magic words in your comment about Landslide, especially Thoughtless. I just have to decide if I want intense (tissues required book) or something “lighter” right now.

Amy January 29, 2015 at 8:28 PM

The last book in the Until the End of the World series is out!!! Oh yeah, I’m the only one reading it right now… *giggle*

Hey Jean and Cheryl… *fist bump* <—– That's for Landslide. ;)

Oh hush. I'm feeling pretty goofy today. And yes, I'm sober right now. :P

Cheryl January 29, 2015 at 8:33 PM

Jean and Amy, let me know when you start Landslide, I’ll read it with you. For now, I’m going to start Throb. Yeh, I know Amy!! *snort/giggle* And yes, I’m sober too. <:

Tessa January 29, 2015 at 9:20 PM

Niki, you are making me want to read it that much more! I’ve got to read it; I just have to wait. Ugh, this month was expensive.

Niki January 29, 2015 at 9:51 PM

Hehe you guys are funny!! Yes Amy it was the one above by B.B. Reid… I finished it last night and then went back and re read my favorite parts today :) I was scared for the heroine the whole time!! Very good!!

Rebecka January 29, 2015 at 9:54 PM

Maryse The Traveling Man was Fantastic. I young love to adult love over several summers GAH! Cliffy at the end of #1 Book #2 to be released Spring 2012. So if you don’t like hanging on the cliff wait until #2

MichelleS January 30, 2015 at 8:50 AM

Michelle – I totally blame you for derailing my plans to start Cartel last night. After your “swoony-swoon” moment up there, I just HAD TO go and find when he came into the story, then I ended up reading from Chapter 11 to the end of the book!!! I had forgotten about Finn!!! How could I forget Finn?? This is one of those series that has good installments and GREAT installments (like Black Swan and Elemental Mysteries, etc). Stick with it. It’s worth it.

So… the newest Neighbor From Hell, or Cartel? They are polar opposites, so I am not sure what I am in the mood for. Maybe just Fabi’s 5-star Paris read?

Amy January 30, 2015 at 10:31 AM

For those of you who loved the Covenant series right along with me…did you see the cover for The Return???? Seth!! He’ll never be Aiden but I could go for a good-sized dose of Seth. :P It comes out next month and starts the new Titan series (Covenant spinoff). That cover…I’m feeling like a dirty cougar right now. *snort*

Michelle January 30, 2015 at 11:45 AM

Michelle, they are addicting like that. I start reading and think well one more chapter and then I look up and I’m almost done with the book! I totally agree like I said about it getting better with each book. I again finished book 3 almost in one sitting last night and it was the best one yet. I love Finn too…really all the characters are great. A lot of you would like these books if you haven’t already read them – I know Bev, Fabi and Amy would like if not love them like I do.

Dude a Covenant spinoff! I didn’t even hear about this…going to look it up.

Michelle January 30, 2015 at 3:29 PM

Undefeated (Fighter Erotic Romance Book 1) by Scott Hildreth
Crash Into Me (Heart of Stone Book 1) by KM Scott
Command Me (Royals Saga Book 1) by Geneva Lee

~Those with wild and loose clicker fingers ;) stop here!~

Price of a Kiss (Forbidden Men Book 1) by Linda Kage is .99
The Traveling Man (Traveling Series Book 1) is 1.99
Call Me Crazy by Quinn Loftis is .99
The Winter King by CL Wilson is 3.99
Conquer Me (Royals Saga Book 2) by Geneva Lee is .99

Jean January 30, 2015 at 3:37 PM

Thanks Michelle! You really didn’t expect me to stop half way through your list, did you? I loved Undefeated and that whole series!

Read Command Me a while ago so I needed the second book and I just bought The Traveling Man…… It is getting off the chart reviews!

Still waiting for Maryse’s list today…… Ugh!

Tessa January 30, 2015 at 4:23 PM

Thank you Michelle! :-)

Michelle January 30, 2015 at 5:16 PM

One more that I’ve been waiting to go on sale: Ten Tiny Breaths by KA Tucker is 1.99

Jean I needed the second book in the royals saga too. I think the Quinn Loftis book looks good too. I’ve read her pnr stuff and liked it.

MichelleS January 30, 2015 at 6:56 PM

Amy – I have no self control… had to go and check out that cover. I am feeling slightly like a pedophile-cougar-mom right now. Good thing I have a Kindle and no one has to see the covers… or else my hubby and son would be disgusted! (That’s supposed to be Seth? I pictured him a little more like a young Charlie Hunnam… which is pretty much this guy).

I read The Winter King, Michelle… just meh for me. I guess I was hoping for so much more with that author. It was okay…. just okay….

I seriously can’t keep track of all these great recommendations! I think I need to get some folders on my Kindle by genre for my TBR list.

Jean January 31, 2015 at 7:07 AM

Oh Michelle, thank! I’ve had Ten Tiny Breaths on my list for a long time too waiting for a sale! I bought so many books yesterday from Maryse’s list!!!

Amy January 31, 2015 at 9:52 PM

LOL MichelleS!! I’m hoping the guy we are ogling on that cover is over 18 ’cause otherwise we *are* pedophile-cougars right now. Hey, even I have limits to my pervertedness. ;)
