in Latest Book Releases

<— Oh YESSSSS, it’s guess who’s book!! ;) But!! Don’t even glance at the synopsis, if you haven’t read fantastic book #1. I can’t wait to get to this one. PLUS! There are a few that really stand out for me in this list. “TBR-list shifters”, if you will. ;)

Like: Blood Shadows (paranormal bargain find, BUT the recommendation for it blew me away so I am on it!!! BDB feel? Yep. MINE!!) and Finding It (’cause I LOVED book #1 and need a bit of that extra funny *oomph* and fun and my bff Sherry is loving the subsequent releases) and Nikolai ’cause I crushed hard on him while simultaneously swooning over his brother, Dorian. ;) I love when I love book-brothers the same. Crossing the Line (Battered Hearts) by Kele Moon!!! (Bring on the MMA fighters!!!) Oh!! And A is for Alpha Male, ’cause who hasn’t daydreamed of looking for (and maybe even finding) a real-life Kristen Ashley alpha male, right? Hehe. Yeah. That one is HIGH on my TBR list. Like… almost… next?

And there are so many more where those came from, below. Lots of blurbs that had me reacting, and I made sure to note ‘em.

P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere). :)

BARGAINS (NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order).

  • SPARK (Spark Series, #1) by Brooke Cumberland
  • BURN (Spark Series, #2) by Brooke Cumberland <— Aimee found us this deal!
  • Blood Shadows (Blackthorn Book 1) by Lindsay J. Pryor <— paranormal/vampire but OMG when I received THIS recommendation from author Ilsa Madden-Mills, it made me want to start it now!! “Maryse, I don’t normally post about books I really dig, but holy hell, I stumbled across a vampire book by a British author Lindsay J. Pryor. It’s layered and deep and riveting and sexy all rolled into one. It reminded me a little of the Ward books, although…and this is hard for me…I think they are better. Yes, I said it. Don’t get me wrong, Ward is my all-time fav paranormal romance writer, but Lindsay managed to combine the dark with MORE sexy…and less of the other characters. It’s all about her hero and heroine. Anyway, I don’t know Lindsay personally nor am I friends with her on FB, but you can bet I’m stalking her like a mad woman.” <—- Eeeeeep!!!!! This sounds like my kind of book. I AM ON IT, Ilsa!
  • A Touch of Heaven by Samantha Chase <— Stephanie found us this deal, saying: “This one has great reviews!” Ahhh yes! Home renovation reality TV show. Sounds like fun! ;)

  • Finding It (Losing It) by Cora Carmack <— SUPER SALE on this recent release!! So…Try is amazing. I hardly ever use this word for books since I read 200ish per year they have to absolutely blow me away for me to do this. This book did that and more. Ella Frank created some hot yet complex characters that had me swooning and begging and hoping. And her writing…not a single word wasted. Just wonderful all the way around.

Maryse November 12, 2013 at 12:50 PM

Thank you Lynetta, for that update. It DOES look great!!

Try is high up on my TBR- I have to say I loved A is for Alpha Male, Haley and her mom made me laugh so hard and all the KA references had me completely fan-girling!

P.S. I’m still waiting on Kele Moon’s 3rd MMA book (Crossing the Line) to go live on Amazon. It has been released today, but on the Loose ID webpage (it’s her publisher). You can buy it direct from them: http://www.loose-id.com/battered-hearts-3-crossing-the-line.html (they have all the ebook formats) but they are (will be) uploading it to the big book stores very soon. Kele mentioned that she’d put up the links as soon as they go live, so I’ll update here as soon as it does.

Maryse Addicted to You is freaking AMAZEBALLS!!! Just like the title suggests, I was addicted to this book and the rest of the series!! Didn’t eat lunch and skipped dinner to read them!! GAHHHH!!! Just thinking about them gives me all these feels LOL! :D

Amy November 12, 2013 at 6:19 PM

Amazing how .99 here and 2.99 there adds up to 44.63 in 10 minutes of one-clicking. Money well spent though!

Niki November 12, 2013 at 6:33 PM

Just read Lovely Vicious by Sara Wolf. It left me with a big book hangover!! Does have a cliffhanger but so worth it!!

Carrie November 12, 2013 at 10:03 PM

I have to limit myself by buying a 25$ amazon card every month or I may go bankrupt with all the heat 99¢ deals lol.

Louise Pion November 13, 2013 at 7:55 AM

Which one are you going to read next Maryse? Because it is so hard to choose!

Georgia November 13, 2013 at 10:03 AM

Oohhh…with all those choices who needs sleep? Thanks for all the recommendations!! My finger is callaused from all the one clicks.

marissa November 13, 2013 at 10:35 AM

A for Alpha was Awesome!!! It was funny and I adored the characters. You must read it if you LOVE KA!

Jackie November 13, 2013 at 12:17 PM

I read Addicted To You this week and immediately bought the next in the series. It’s still very angsty, the dynamics between the characters really make your heart twist. And without giving away too much, I don’t think I initially would have thought I would have as much sympathy for Lily’s addiction as I did. I would definitely recommend this one.

Rachel November 13, 2013 at 8:56 PM

Maryse, definitely add Finding It to your tbr list! It is totally different from Losing It, and it was deliciously angsty, although the h, Kelsey, did have issues that seemed minor in comparison to the H, Jackson. I think you’d love it!

Dee November 17, 2013 at 4:27 PM

I always read your bog…love it! I had just finished a dark read set (Metal Urge & Metal Heart) great books but left me in that dark funk. The dark snuck up on me when I was into the story–hate when that happens. So I checked out your list and picked up “Try” OMG. I cannot put it down and it certainly is pulling me out of that book funk. My first M/M and I am loving it! I will be looking for more. This is right up there with my rock stars :)

Georgia November 27, 2013 at 6:32 AM

Starting on the third book of Juliana Stones – Barker triplets. Collision. .. Can’t wait. It is such a good series. Lots of angst and quite steamy, but also deals quite well with life’s decisions and their consequences. The first books of this author that I’ve read and I’m hooked. Apparently she also has a new series called -”Bad boys of Crystal Lake”. The name alone has me intrigued. Enjoy!
