Oooooh this one sounds right up my alley, and kind of sounds like “Ten Tiny Breaths” which I LOVED, but I’m pretty sure it’s not that one (’cause she’s running from her uncle).
Melissa wants to know:
I was wondering if you could help me find a book.
It is about a young woman who is running from an abusive father. She sets herself up in her own apartment, which is in horrible shape. She has a couple run ins with the H. It is kind of like insta love. She spends a lot of time pushing him away. He is very persistent. The father ends up finding her at the end.
This book has a sequel I would like to read but can’t remember the name of the book or author. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Eeeeep!! Anyone have an idea?
NG: Is it ‘The Hurricane’ by R. J. Prescott?
Lauren: That’s what I was thinking too. The Hurricane does have a sequel that came out a couple of months ago.
Ashley: I shared this with another book group because I wanted to know the answer because the books sounds interesting, and they suggested The Hurricane by RJ Prescott. That it? They said The Aftermath (The Hurricane) is the sequel. ETA: looks like some others think the same thing. I’m going to have to read this book.
Jennifer: Hi Maryse. I think it might be Fear of Falling: a Fearless novel by S.L. Jennings. The 2nd book I’d Afraid to Fly: a Fearless novel
Renate: Hi! its Fear of Falling by J.L. Jennings
