You guys. Paula needs us. Her question is short and sweet and has just enough VERY PARTICULAR detail to spark our memories, I just know it!

She asks:

Hi, I don’t know if this is supposed to be here, but I’m looking for a book:

It was about a girl who was a DJ and a vigilante, and a man who was a police officer and ugly (the thought he was undesirable). I think that the girl’s name was Violet but I don’t remember much details.

Thanks!! I love your blog and I read you everyday

Yay Paula!!! Thank you so much for your sweet comment, and I’m so glad you’re here with us. I KNOW we can find this book for you.

So… does anyone have a guess?

Robyn: This sounds like one of my favorite books! Is it Brutal (Detroit After Dark) series by K S Adkins? The girls name is Venessa, she is a DJ and a vigilante and gets involved with a cop!

Paula: Yes! Yes! Thank you so much Robyn!!! I really loved it :)

Maryse: YAY!!!! Another one solved!! Thank you Robyn!!! :D

HEllo! Just throwing a thought out there…if I am in a 3D movie theater …does that mean I can really touch Mark Wahlburg and Charlie Hunnam…..just saying….
