YAY!!!! I KNOW this one!! I read it. Very good, and was a HUGE hit amongst many of our fellow readers. And even if I can answer this one, I’m posting it anyway, in case someone here hasn’t read it yet, and is intrigued, or in case anyone else was trying to remember it. 😀
Hannah asks:
I can’t remember the name of a book I read.
It was about a depressed musician who quit his band after his wife died (suicide?). Now he sits in a diner staring at a chair all day.
A waitress befriends him and the story evolved (*spoilers ahead*)

to where the waitress and the musicians band-mate fall in love and eventually help him move on from his guilt.
The heroine also writes poetry that the three of them convert to songs for the bands new album. It was such a beautiful and touching story and I have been trying so hard to find the book again but no luck.
Can you please help!!
I SURE CAN, Hannah!! The book is called Night Shifts Black (NSB Book 1) (and here is my review).
P.S. Here’s book #2, Tracing Holland (NSB Book 2) <— which concludes the duet! 😀
Kimberly: The description is off of course, since she’s not a waitress in the cafe, just a patron
AS YOU ALL KNOW, I LOVED THESE BOOKS!!!!
Ok this weird…this sounds so familiar to me and I am 100% positive I have never read Night Shifts Black.
Anyone remember other books with H lurking in diner and meeting h???
Maybe Leo by Mia Sheridan……not sure….
Nope, not Leo….Haven’t read that one yet…it’s on my TBR though.
Could I be thinking of The Hurricane?? I think that was diner waitress h (and fighter H).
Thank you so much!!!
