Ohhh those pesky famous-hero and their evil image-loving agents breaking us “normal girls” hearts! ROAR! But sooooo fun to read. 😉 Except, while this sounds familiar (a recurring theme in these kinds of books), I don’t think I’ve read this one and now I’m curious, too.
Suzie asks:
The book i was asking about revolved around the hero’s fame and there was a scene when the heroine was so excited to go with him to an event and she was all glammed up but in the end the hero told her she couldn’t go 🙁 i think because of his agent or something. In the end the *spoiler* … and then poof cliffhanger!
This is driving me nuts, i can recall so many scenes but i can’t remember what the book is! :'( i hope the scene sounds familiar to you.i would be eternally grateful if you can help me 🙂
Anyone know?
Reader Suggestions:
- The Redhead Revealed by Alice Clayton
- Love Unscripted:The Love Series, Book 1 by Tina Reber
- Eversea (Eversea #1) by Natasha Boyd
- Discovering Us (True Love Trilogy) by Harper Bentley
- Translation of Love by Alice Montalvo-Tribue
Maybe one of the redhead books? Or Love Unscripted?
I couldn’t remember if this might be love unscripted. It’s been a few years since I read it and I know that it got real angsty in both books when it came to his agent…
And redhead book #2… I was thinking that, too. I remember she ended up in the lobby or something (and hung out with his co-actors) but I couldn’t remember if it’s ’cause she wasn’t allowed in, or if it’s ’cause she was mad. I know the red-carpet thing was an issue.
I think it can be Eversea
Did the heroine own a restaurant/hotel? Had she been left at the altar by her past boyfriend. She’s small town and somehow gets a text or email not meant for her from the famous actor or his fake girlfriend?
Ooooh nevermind! There is definitly a scene in Discoverying Us by Harper Bently, where the agent doesnt let the hero take his girl to an red carpet event. It ends in a cliffhanger. Really good book, next book expected sometime between feb 2014 or early march. FYI he’s a professional baseball player. And the book starts from early puppy love towards a mor formal relationship. But then……..cliffhanger!
Discovering us by Harper Bentley?
Discovering Us?
I think it’s Discovering Us by Harper Bentley. It was really good but a nasty cliffhanger. It is part one of a trilogy.
Yep so many of you are agreeing on that one, so I bet that’s it!
I remember reading this a while back..does anyone know if the sequel came out??

I think it might be from the Perfect Game series. Maybe book 2? Jack made a commercial with the model who was also their neighbor and IIRC he called at the last minute and said that his agent wanted him to take the model to some awards show.
