Reader Question – The book where the drunk girl gets turned down by the hot guy…

in Reader Questions

We had great success with today’s first reader question/guess the book post, so I’ve found us another!

Actually, this one does sound familiar, but the description provided (“party girl/hot guy turns her down” theme) has actually shown up in a few books, so I’m having a hard-time pinning down the actual one that matches this description.

Steph is looking for this one:

“… the description was something about a girl who parties a lot because she isn’t happy with her life.. family issues.. etc etc.. and one night she is out partying drinks too much meets a hot guy throws up then tries to hook with said guy.. he turns her down because she’s a mess… Do you have any idea what book this is???”

Does anyone have an idea?

Kind of sounds like Tasting Never

Never say Never Trilogy: Book One. Book Two, Finding Never, and Book Three, Keeping Never, are both available now! A fourth book follow up, Never Can Tell, releases June 25th.

“Never Ross wants to be loved.
It’s that simple, but it’s not that easy.”

Never is a girl with a broken soul who doesn’t date nice guys and can’t seem to go to bed at night without crying herself to sleep. She doesn’t need any complications in her life, especially not when they’re attached to a man that could be her emotional twin.

Ty McCabe can’t stand Never the first time he meets her. He’s aware that the feeling’s mutual and the two don’t think they’ll ever see each other again, but when fate takes a hand and puts them both in the wrong place at the wrong time, Ty and Never form a tentative friendship that opens the door on their dark sides and shows them what it’s like to live in the light.

“Sometimes, the only way to go forward, is to take a few, careful steps back.”

leanne that was my first thought also up until the throwing up part. I really did love the Never Series though :)

I mean… even in Beautiful Disaster, he turned her down sorta ’cause they were too drunk.

and I think even the latest one I read “Beautiful Broken Rules” there might have been a scene like that… Hrmmmmm….

I was thinking of All of You (InterMix) by Christtina Lee, but again, no throwing up…

There was a scene similar to the one described in Finding It by Cora Carmack? Loved that book:)

Wow, this is a hard one. I’ve scrolled thru 100′s of Nook, Kindle, iBooks….& can’t figure it out. Most of the books I own start that way. Boy won’t sleep with drunk girl. BTW, where were those guys when I was in college?
