This series keeps coming up as a must read, and while it’s M/M (male romance), y’all know I’ve enjoyed these, too! I’ve realized that if I’m totally into a romance book, I can take on the “part” (feelings and emotion) of the main character, whether they be male or female. I just love the love! 🙂 And this one appears to be quite addictive (and I’m thinking probably angsty at times, too).
Here are a few of the recommendations that I’ve received:
Lindsey: I’ve got a great recommendation! You *must* check out the “Cut and Run” series by Abigail Roux. It’s M/M, and could not be more satisfying and addictive. The boys are both FBI agents with dark pasts–major alpha types. It has the perfect combination of angst, heat and humor. You really can’t not fall for them. And the author really knows how to keep you on the hook. I read all six (full length!) books in a week! I haven’t done that since the EIT series. So good!
Julie: Awesome!! I’ve had these on my list for awhile, can’t wait!
Lindsey: I love them a lot. I don’t usually go in for cop stories, but these are awesome!
Julie: I loved this series, and there are a fee books to keep you going. Have you read warrior’s cross (i think) Lindsey? That was good too.
Debra: Started the Cut & Run series by Abigail Roux last week and have gotten nothing done since. It’s m-m romance and completely addictive! Already on book 3.
Kate: I have really loved this series and this latest book deals with more of the personal issues. It’s great to be at book six already of the same two characters and still them growing and evolving. Well done to Abigail Roux because I loved it!
Jackie: Cut and Run starts off with two guys who really don’t like each other. Their relationship develops gradually over the books. i much prefer the latter books, but you’d need to read the early ones first to appreciate their relationship. it is a very good series.
About book #1:
A series of murders in New York City has stymied the police and FBI alike, and they suspect the culprit is a single killer sending an indecipherable message. But when the two federal agents assigned to the investigation are taken out, the FBI takes a more personal interest in the case.
Special Agent Ty Grady is pulled out of undercover work after his case blows up in his face. He’s cocky, abrasive, and indisputably the best at what he does. But when he’s paired with Special Agent Zane Garrett, it’s hate at first sight. Garrett is the perfect image of an agent: serious, sober, and focused, which makes their partnership a classic cliché: total opposites, good cop-bad cop, the odd couple. They both know immediately that their partnership will pose more of an obstacle than the lack of evidence left by the murderer.
Practically before their special assignment starts, the murderer strikes again – this time at them. Now on the run, trying to track down a man who has focused on killing his pursuers, Grady and Garrett will have to figure out how to work together before they become two more notches in the murderer’s knife.

Ans what’s this! I thought Stars and Stripes was the last book! Maryse, you just made my day.
YAY!! I love making days!! 😀
Do it! They are so good. Touch & Geaux was amazing. I remember reading the first book and screaming at my nook, “get your life together agent Grady!” lol.
i’ve read this series and let me just say…it is awesome!
I purchased the first book in this series a few month ago but haven’t gotten around to reading it. Might need to push it up the list.
Love this series. I need to finish stars & stripes asap because I heard touch & geaux was amazing. I loved book 1. Book 2,3,4 I enjoyed, book 5 was amazing almost as good as book 1 & I heard great things about book 7. All in all an extremely fun series.
These are absolutely great books. Each one seems to get better than the one before. Enjoy!
My first time posting here, Maryse! Please read them, the writing is excellent and both guys are hot. So happy to see these on here.
Maryse I’m so glad you’ve mentioned this series it really is brilliant. Each book gets better and better. Once you start you will become completely addicted to Ty and Zane. Whilst a angsty there is plenty of romance and humour along the way. This is my favourite series ever mm or otherwise I hope you enjoy it as much as I have 🙂
Oh I was hoping you’d spotlight these books! How I adore Ty and Zane *swoons*. This is probably my favorite book series ever. While I am fond of M/M books in general, I have friends who aren’t, but still love these books; they have the perfect mix if humor, angst, action and steamy romance that tends to transcend genres. Definitely give these books a go, you won’t regret it. 🙂
I’ve read these and they are an absolute favorite series of mine!!! The last book killed me…. Let’s say I cannot wait for the next one! I’ve had to put Ty and Zane out of my mind because the waiting is……. well lets just say, I’m impatient. Try them, you’ll love them!
This is by far my favorite M/M series. Ty and Zane are great together, I just love them. I have already pre-ordered book 8 and I can’t wait to read it!
Loved Cut and Run sooo much read them all in a week then reread them again and again. I am still in a book funk cant seem to get these guys to stop running around in my head. This is not my usual book type maybe that is why they impacted me so much. Each time I read them I see something different. I MISS THEM, like when your done with the latest BDB book. I keep picking up books start reading and at the end of the day go back to them. They are strong, cute, broken and hysterical. I have never laughed out loud as much as I did with these and I read ALOT. Hmmmm
Hi! I loved these books too! I thought Touch and Geaux was awesome! Here’s a recommendation though. If you liked these try A Matter of Time series by Mary Calmes. It has a great alpha hero and the other hero is freakin hysterical! And….oh, the angst!!!!
I spent a week reading the whole series so far. I haven’t done that since the Rock Chicks. Best thing I’ve read all year by miles!!!!! Loved ’em.
Based off this list I saw in your blog, I started these and didn’t stop until I read the whole series. Maryse, this is the best series I’ve ever read. Ever. The depth to these characters is amazing and Abi is a master storyteller. I’m so obsessed with this series I think about it everyday!! You need to check it out!!
I agree Tracie, I’ve lost count of how many books I’ve read but this series is without a doubt my all time favourite.
THank you so much for mentioning this series Maryse. I have never read m/m before and when I saw the posting you had on the genre I gave a couple of them a try and loved them. Then I saw that other readers loved this series. I am now on the fourth installment-reading them straight through. The first book is kind of slow for the first 60% but I am so glad I hung in there!
OMG…I ran across this series after reading the comments on your “Collide” review. Collide was great. THIS is a whole other animal. I’m reeling on how outstanding this series is. I am forever changed, and I can’t even put it into words. I feel like this did the same to me as Christian Grey did a couple of years ago (before he became a thing). I feel like it’s the best kept secret…and I keep going back to get my fix. This is a beautiful story, and I love how the relationship unfolds. *sigh* C’mon March 2014! Ball and Chain is #8 and I’m just going to be a wreck until it’s living on my ipad in my hot little hands.
Cut and Run Series, is one of my all time favorite series!
Book #7 was by far the best!
Can’you wait for book 9 but also dreading it. I will be sad to see the end of this series but hoping all loose ends are taking care of 🙂
