Aleatha Romig – Consequences Trilogy Reading Order

in Reading Order Guide:

I’m continuing with my “dark reads” weekend ’cause now I’m reading “Truth” as we speak. I thought I’d go ahead and put up the reading order guide for this series. I need to know when book #3 will be out (alas… it’s still listed as TBA). These books are making me crazy (but I love it). I’m scared, titillated, appalled, and every time I hear his voice now, I tremble (and not in the good way). Psychological thriller with that touch of stockholm syndrome romance. Er… if you can call it that. Hey I don’t know yet. I’m still reading. Yep. If you like this kind of very dark read, I can certainly recommend this one!

And so can these fellow “reading thrill-seekers”. In fact, some love the bad guy. And lemme tell you… he’s a REAL BAD guy. Not a “bad boy”, not a misunderstood alpha… he’s a BAD GUY!! But! I hear… things are not all that they seem. *hrmph* I’m not so sure about that, as I’m anti-Tony, but I’m still curious to see how some of these girls are on “team Tony”. *shudders*

Don’t forget, I’m still on book #2, but apparently by the end of it, I *may* have a different opinion.

Katie: I just finished TRUTH and WOW WOW WOW…. You must read Consequences first but this is my favorite book/series this year! So GOOD! For the record, even though it may be controversial, I LOVE Tony!

Tracey: Just finished Consequences! Wow!! Angel keep going…so good. Starting Truth now….,just not happy that we will have to wait for book 3!

Angel: thanks girls, I love books like this, and I love knowing I have book 2 waiting for me.

Julie: See, I think he’s HORRIBLE!! I’m reading Truth now and I like bad boys just as much as the next girl but he’s just mean! Great books tho !:) lol

Maryse’s Book Blog: Yep, sometimes it’s fun to hate on the “guy” in the book. I call those dark thrillers and I love ‘em!! We don’t have to crush on ‘em all, right? Sometimes it’s just as fun to get anxious and angry without falling for him. I have a few “heroes” or anti-heroes that come to mind.

Katie: Julie tell me if you still feel that way about Tony at the end of truth…

Kirsten: @Katie I love Tony. I loved him in Consequences, yeah I know a little messed up, but in this he’s even better.

Reading Truth now too. 23% in…dying to find out what is going to change my feelings about Tony. I saw somewhere today that the final book isn’t due out til the end of the year. I was so disappointed!! I want it NOW!! lol

Kirsten January 20, 2013 at 9:43 PM

It takes time to weave this tale Bonnie, but I’m sure it’s going to be worth the wait.

LucyLou January 20, 2013 at 11:35 PM

Just finished “Consequences” and it is just as psychotic as “Gone Girl”. Loved the book, but I feel that Tony is beyond bad and is rooted deep in EVIL TERRITORY. Okay, now I’m starting “Truth”. Go Claire Go!!! I am on “Team Claire” and probably “Team Sophie”!! Girl Power!!! (Don’t know if I would trust any guys in these books… just saying :)

Oh no I did not realise this was a trilogy before I started reading Consequences!! I get so frustrated when I start something then have to wait for the conclusion… note to self I need to check first :) I am about 20% through so I have a bit to catch up :)

I read Truth but it did not help me love Tony at all. What a psycho! I thought Claire made some really dumb decisions in Truth and did a lot of things that were out of character for her.

I just finished Consequences last night and I truly have mixed emotions. I kept praying that they would diagnose Tony with split personality disorder and he could be “treated” lol! He was so Bad and yet he could do such sweet things at times. I’m looking forward to Truth but I might need just a little break before I start it. Can’t wait to hear when the 3rd book might come out.

Consequences made me sick, started truth and really not sure about this one either, but need to know how it goes. Just a glutton for closure

Shannon M January 21, 2013 at 10:01 AM

“Glutton for closure”….perfect! I think that’s why I finish a lot of books I hate, or continue with a series that has gone boring (HON). I am reading Truth now. I just have to know how Tony gets the readers to like him. I am so disgusted with him!

Michaela January 21, 2013 at 10:58 AM

UGHHH! That is all I can say after finishing Consequences! Here’s to hoping Truth can calm my nerves! Going to keep my fingers crossed though. Aleatha Romig sure knows how to push and pull my emotions!

Tina January 21, 2013 at 5:49 PM

Just finished fearing Truth. Read both back to back over a three day period and Ughhh!! Roller coaster RIDE! Haven’t been through that kind of ringer for a long time!

Sarah January 22, 2013 at 5:42 PM

OMG just finished Truth and cannot wait for book #3 when you said dark read that was an understatement lol but oh my these were long a little drawn out but I kept going and I am in LOVE and yes I could possibly be a Tony fan ;) we will just have to see how much more redeeming and revenge he can do in book 3!!!! Hope there is an early release for #3 I can’t wait till the end of the year I have to know how this plays out :)

Cindy January 22, 2013 at 6:28 PM

Very disturbed after Consequences! Just so wrong!!!

Dulce January 24, 2013 at 2:17 AM

Tony is bad bad bad and a sociopath! And I love him! WTheck?? This can’t be right, right? Maybe reading these books into the wee hours of the nite has made lose my mind. I mean I know he’s hot, immensely wealthy and charming (even when he’s mean) but hellooo he’s CRAZY! The unforgivable kind of crazy.. but yet some way some how I wanted Tony and Claire to have a happy ending. I rooted for the bad guy and not the good one (Harry).. hmm Fiddle-dee-dee I’ll think about that tomorrow.

LucyLou January 24, 2013 at 5:46 PM

Finished “Truth” and all I can say is WOW!!! The ending was awesome!!! Can’t wait for “Convicted”. Hoping for an earlier release than end of 2013 or beginning of 2014.

Sweeta D January 24, 2013 at 5:47 PM

INFURIATING!!!!! If I could reach through the pages and SLAP the heck out of Claire, I swear I would! GROW A PAIR! Well, I’m glad when she finally does grow a pair, but its too little too late from where I’m at. I just finished CONSEQUENCES, and truthfully, I may need real therapy because my friends are SICK of hearing me rant and rave! However, I did not hesitate to purchase TRUTH and will delve in tonight. Hopefully, part 2 will ease my nerves a little. Oh, and Tony sucks. He just plain sucks! How he has fans is completely beyond me!?!? I will keep reading…..

Traci B. January 25, 2013 at 4:22 PM

So I’m 28% into consequences and not sure if I should keep going…it kind of interests me but I’m kind of bored…I’m really not like Anthony yet
..should I keep going??

Tracy January 29, 2013 at 9:53 AM

OMG!!!!!!! Ladies ladies ladies. Really! This is one sick, demented, egotistical B*****d that needs to die. I have never in my life read a book that makes me want to jump up and down, throw things, or hurt someone(not really, lol. But u know what I mean) and scream to the top of my lungs……I HATE TONY!!!!! Even though he is handsome, Ugh. Rich, UGH, who cares. Did I mention I HATE TONY!
Fixing to start Truth, God help me.

kristen January 29, 2013 at 8:36 PM

Ok I have not been able to function the last week Bc of this series. Holy crap I have never been so mad angry or wanted the scream at a book in my life lol! Now I have to wait until the end of the year or next year to read the next one ahh what are we doing to ourselfs

Kristi February 7, 2013 at 4:10 PM

Wow….just finished Consequences. I cannot begin Truth yet..I need a lighter read. I really hate Tony and I can’t believe people like him. Why? Gah…this book made me so angry I had to keep putting it down. Yea I definitely need a break before the next book lol.

Nikki March 11, 2013 at 9:41 AM

I just finished reading Consequences and this book is a pitch-black dark for me. Like it made me want to be a murderer myself, get a pen and stab Tony in the eyes multiple times!!! That ***hole is sick!!! Ugh! I’m afraid to read the next book but I’ll probably do it anyway because not I only did this book made me want to murder someone, it has apparently made me a masochist also. Lol! Tony Tony Tony, I swear to the effin galaxy, given a chance I’ll poison you with every freakin drop of poison from the poison dart frog.

shannon March 30, 2013 at 9:47 AM

just finished both books….tony “fan” may be the wrong term. But, by the time you finish truth you will be hoping the answers to your questions will provide the happy ending you WILL want in the 3rd book….trying to be vague as not to give away to much.

Sandra Pika April 19, 2013 at 6:53 AM

Finished both books..love Tony…love Claire..these two go together like cream and sugar….Aleatha, please write write write…I cannot wait.

Dawn June 19, 2013 at 2:02 PM

am on edge now waiting for next book “convicted” have hated, detested and also loved and adored Tony through the whole 2 books, there is an ending i would love but there are so many twists in this story its hard to put my own conclusion to. Ihope its soon coz i am on the verge of a break down its so tense xxxx

Sarah P October 28, 2013 at 6:40 AM

I am a week and a half coming off the final book Truth. Like amusement parks, like rollercoasters? Then ride this one!! I had to put it down with 40 pages left, because my thought was “No way, No, no, no, no!!!!!” I didn’t pick it up for a day, I didn’t want to know the ending, I couldn’t. The third book was such a mind warp that I am having trouble bringing myself to read anything else. Usually I am a read a book, read a book, read a book kind of gal. This one left me read a book stew over it, and compare it to all others you might purchase. Read this book, it will not let you down.
