in Reading Order Guide:

Gorgeous cover, super-angsty sounding romance read

After returning from a semester in Paris, Alexa is back in her hometown of Boston and looking for anything but the drama that surrounds Noah. He’s intense, gifted, famous and a bastard through and through.

Heh. Wow. He sounds right up my alley. ;) And it’s come highly recommended by a few from our reading crew!

Fabi: Vain part two is out! Oh ladies, if you haven’t yet read it…I mentioned it before but didn’t want to yell and scream until part two came out. *yelling and screaming* has a really original plot.  It’s a hot one with a moody, reclusive alpha jerk and an ultra modern heroine that we don’t often see.  The short book grabs you right from the beginning and ends with an umph.  I had to download the author’s other works after this one.

Tanya: just finished reading it and ugh…I need the next book…I want to strangle that man!!!

Hehe. Er… that just makes me even more excited to read this. ;)

About book #1:

Sex. That’s all Noah Foster wanted when Alexa Jackson showed up at his apartment. After returning from a semester in Paris, Alexa is back in her hometown of Boston and looking for anything but the drama that surrounds Noah. He’s intense, gifted, famous and a bastard through and through.

Alexa doesn’t take life too seriously. Noah doesn’t do calm and easygoing. Their unexpected meeting sets them both on a course towards an unlikely connection. As Noah embarks on a journey to teach school teacher Alexa the ways of his dark and mysterious world, she’s fighting her own demons and the memory of a stranger in Paris.

When Alexa’s past suddenly becomes her present, she’s forced to face the reality of whether the passionate moments she’s spent in Noah’s arms, in his bed, and in his life mean anything to him, or has it all been in vain?

Sounds good, although I think I will wait till book 3 comes out before starting this series. Think I saw August 22nd as the release date. Not to long to wait…

I recommend it. :-)

It’s really good, but wait for Book 3 . The author said it was going to be in 2 parts – it was seriously annoying to find that wasn’t true…

Janet August 11, 2014 at 6:20 AM

Okay,I’m an idiot. I misread her blog, she never said it was in 2 parts…

It is best to wait for the third one to come out. I have been sitting on the edge of my seat for it to come out and I cannot help but keep checking. It drew me in that much. I hope I find an end to this soon.
