M/M romance series that has put SO many in our reading crew in a frenzy. Book one took ’em by storm (even a bunch of our fellow romance lovers that had never read M/M before). And now… book #3 was just released!!
Just look at how in love they are:
Kim: Loved it, loved the series! This will be the series I recommend when a book friend is curious about the genre but still a little reluctant.
Annie: just finished Try by Ella Frank last night…..I loved it! Tate and Logan sexy, adorable, endearing and definitely worth reading about….again!!!!!!
Michelle: I am reading Take, by Ella Frank the sequel to Try…. and I think I need a bag of ice to cool myself down. I have attacked my husband and it still hasn’t helped. It has me totally and completely turned on…. and it’s about two men!! Crazy, I know, but they are incredibly hot. I’m only 20% in. I will self-combust at this rate. Blay and Quinn who???? Logan and Tate are impossible to resist. If you are in the mood for steamy steamy steamy, give Take a Try!! (Fanning myself).
Shanda: Try by Ella Frank was my first M/M and I LOVED it. Finished it last night!!!! I will admit that I was apprehensive but thought I would “Try” because I love all of Ella Franks other books. So glad I did and I am glad you are recommending similar reads.
JenC: Just finished Try by Ella Frank. WOW! Best mm book I’ve read so far.
Jill: Try (m/m) by Ella Frank should be somewhere on your list! Great writing, witty and sexy dialogue, and two hot alpha males! They both start out thinking it’ll just be a little fun – Logan with teaching a ‘straight’ man some things and Tate experimenting – but of course things never go as you think they will! The second book Take just came out and it was just as good as the first!
Michelle: Jill, YES YES YES… I agree… Ella Frank’s Try and the follow up Take are must reads if you are in the mood for steamy hot romance. And I figured out why two guys could make me so over-heated…. because if one super hot guy in a book can do it for me, then two will just me double the heat… and sure enough, it does. Don’t miss a “heroine” at all. They are extremely hot romances. Loved these books.
Fabi: A few days ago, one of you recommended Take by Ella Frank. I tried to find your post again but I can’t. I just wanted to say thank you so much for mentioning it. I loved it. I’ve only read a couple of M/M books and really other than the BDB one, I wasn’t impressed. Since the one you recommded is a sequel, I picked up Try first. I always have to start at the beginning. Lol — Tate and Logan’s story is fantastic. A really beautiful love story. While there is steamy and descriptive sex scenes, they are so much a part of the story that they only add to the plot. I’m hooked for sure. These guys are awesome. I’m in love with both of them. So glad there’s a 3rd book coming out. So sad I have to wait for it. But maybe good since maybe I’ll catch up on the sleep I missed the past two nights. I’m on to Word Play next. I was planning on starting it the day it came out, but I’d just met Tate and Logan and couldn’t break away then. hehe I hope the one who recommended Take remembers doing so cause this big ol’ thank you is for you girl.
About book #1:
Sex. Logan Mitchell loves it, and ever since he realized his raw sexual appeal at a young age, he has had no problem using it to his advantage. Men and women alike fall into his bed—after all, Logan is not one to discriminate. He lives by one motto—if something interests you, why not just take a chance and try? And he wants to try Tate Morrison.
Just coming out of a four-year marriage with an ex-wife from hell, a relationship is the last thing on Tate’s mind. He’s starting fresh and trying to get back on his feet with a new job at an upscale bar in downtown Chicago. The only problem is, Tate has caught the unwavering and unwelcome attention of Mr. Logan Mitchell – a regular at the bar and a man who always gets what he wants.
Night after night Tate fends off the persistent advances of the undeniably charismatic man, but after an explosive moment in the bar, all bets are off as he finds his body stirring with a different desire than his mind. As arrogance, stubbornness and sexual tension sizzles between the two, it threatens to change the very course of their lives. Logan doesn’t do relationships. Tate doesn’t do men. But what would happen if they both just gave in and…tried?
Thank you, thank you , thank you for your blog. It’s the only way I can keep track of new releases. I’ve been waiting impatiently for this one to come out. Fabulous series!
