Shelley just sent me this recommendation and I am intrigued!!!

The Forbidden Room – JP Barnaby and the follow on book A House Of Cards have had me in a funk for two weeks now!

I just cant get these characters out of my head. The character dynamic is incredible. The writing is addictive and the sex is full body blush worthy.

Now I know that this genre is not for every one, but I do know that you read and reviewed Kele Moon’s Eden series and these books are reminiscent but OMG I just loved them. Yes it’s BDSM but more B&D than S&M (thank god).

Now I know that your TBR has a heart beat like mine, so I just thought that if you fancied another look at one of “those” books again. These will be worth your time, I promise:)

Haha Shelley! I love that TBR list with a “heartbeat” comment. You are not kidding, but I’m glad to receive recommendations that will keep my own heart racing, and these look like they just might do it!

About the series:

When Jayden Carter applied to be Ethan Bryant’s roommate, he never expected his whole life to change. Drawn into a world he knows nothing about, Jayden joins the beautiful and mysterious Lexi as Ethan’s submissive. He then begins a journey of self-discovery that teaches him more than merely BDSM.

I recommend these books too. I couldn’t get the characters out of my head. these books definitely give you a roller coaster of feelings throughout the two books (not including the short story) Happy, Sad, Frustrated at the lack of communication. I also recommend the Little Boy Lost series that he wrote.. that is heart-wrenching, but I couldn’t put them down and couldn’t wait to see what happened next in the series. It’s definitely heavy on the m/m and a lot of it revolves around the male porn industry, so may not be for everyone, but the characters are so real…
