in Reading Order Guide:

So many in our crew LOVE this author (me too!!!) and especially LOVE this series!

Jennifer: I’m in Jennifer L Armentrout heaven…. Finished Deity last week… finished Elixir yesterday…I just LOVE her series!”

Rebecca: Yes to the Covenant series, by JLA!! I’m currently on book #3, Deity. Love Love Love!!

Amy: I LOVE hearing when others love the Covenant series! It’s one of my *rare* re-reads. Such an unexpected ending to the series, but I think that’s what I loved about it. ;)

Fabi: Yup Amy, and I’ll never forget one of the greatest series ever was your rec of The Covenant Series.

Cristina: Amy – The Covenant series is a rare re-read for me too. I just LOVED the greek Gods and myths storyline. I had that series read in about a week! Lots of late nights during that series.

About the series (as per the author): “The short and dirty version: Butt kicking girl, a forbidden guy, a fate and aether starved creatures. And kissing.”

About book #1:

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi—pure-bloods—have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals—well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.Unfortunately, she’s crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn’t her biggest problem–staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.
