in Reading Order Guide:

This one comes highly recommended by many:

Becky says: “have you ever read the Vampire Queen series by Joey W Hill? I love that series, have read them all and I highly recommend you at least give it a try!”

Heather: “the Vampire queen series now that is just plain yummy if you are of a more unusual bent. it is heavily lifestyle oriented and beyond good. …very heavily BDSM oriented which is what i meant by lifestyle biggrin wasn’t sure if i should put it down as BDSM so i just went with what we normally call it. it is definitely not historical it is more contemporary with some major differences. highly sexual too. i found it on amazon when i was searching for lifestyle oriented books. there are several series on amazon that people have listed.if you have a problem with major dominance oriented series Vampire Queen is not for you but it is always fun to be a little wicked and stretch your comfort zone…”

Musette: “What about Joey W Hill’s Vampire Queen series? BDB was my favourite until I found Joey…then all bets were off!! Absolutely brilliant, read all 6 in a week, books 7 & 8 due out this year.”

As per the author’s website:

Lady Elyssa is a centuries old vampire who finds herself in desperate need of a new human servant. Jacob Green has been a wanderer all his life, trying to stumble into his destiny. Nothing can prepare him for everything that Lyssa demands of her human servant. Besieged by her enemies, guarding secrets that could result in the loss of her ability to protect her territory and those who inhabit it, she needs a man who can stand by her no matter what she asks of him.

Ahhh, ladies, I’ll make a wild prediction that you will devour this series. And since your posts were back in September, you may already have! Although her VQ books all have the BDSM element, Hill writes it incredibly well rather than raunchy. The romance and the build-up of seduction is off-the-charts erotic. IMO, there are not many who can match JWH’s storytelling. Just love her!

DO check out her Nature of Desire and Daughters of Arianne series (mermaid & hot alpha angels.) Enjoy!

Hi. I am a huge fan of Joey W. Hill. I just read Vampire Instinct recently. She is a fantastic author. She has a website at Descriptions of all her works are found there. She even writes some short stories based on her characters and posts them there. My favorite series the the Vampire Queen series, but all are worth the read. Thanks for listening.

I read the first book to this series last week. I found it at a used book store. I remembered it was on my wish list at Amazon because its about vampires (my fav) so I bought it and started reading it even though I have at least 7 other series on my TBR shelf. After having enjoyed the BDSM chapters in J.R. Wards books I figured this would be just as good a read for me. LOVED it. As soon as I finished it I ordered the next book in the series. Who knew I was a closet fetishist? :)

Joey W Hill writes like no other author…she has spoiled me for anyone else now!!! Can’t recommend the Vampire Queen series highly enough…the best vampire books ever (yes, even better than BDB..forgive me JRW!)
I love all Joey’s books…but the Vampire Queens are my absolute faves of hers, especially Vampire Mistress and Trinity, #5 & #6 in the series.
Definitely top of the ‘must read’ list!

I just finished a novella (but full novel size) by Joey call The Scientific Method in a brand new book out called Mastered: Ten Tales of Sensual Surrender. I got it for 99 cents but I see it listed for 2.99 so look around for the best deal. Oh my Goodnes was this book AMAZING!!! I am now looking to buy the first in the series!! I cried, I felt, and I rejoiced with the characters. Very powerful!!
