YAY!! A military-themed series!! And I have a feeling I’m gonna love ‘em considering a few of her other reads I picked up last year. I loved this author’s bad-boy tattooed short story called Hearts in Darkness. I read it and was absolutely smitten and wanting more by the end of that one. I picked up her vampire book (Forever Freed) and I quickly realized that her hero’s were totally my thing. And now I hear that her “Special Forces” series might just take the cake!
I remember when book one was released, everyone seemed to be talking about it. The recommendations started pouring in. The reason I held back? Only because it was a “shorter story”, and I wasn’t all that experienced with “shorts” back then (I was a full-length book snob ). But I’m mostly over that. I realized some of these “short stories” can still entertain me for hours, and now that the sequel has just been released, I’m all over this! I’m reading these next (you can consider this my “currently reading” post):
