<— LOVED!!! This one put so many of us in a somewhat crazy, frenzied state. And many of us (me included) couldn’t figure out what team we were on! (see my review). The romantic angst was delicious and the slightly taboo subject matter, exciting! If you haven’t read this book yet, DO NOT check out the synopsis for book #2. Too much info there, and part of the fun in book #1 is not knowing… who. 😉
And YAY!!! Book #2 will be out in just a few weeks!
Cindy: A Little Too Far …wow! Great!!
Julie: I really got into this book. The author did this really good….where else can you read about 2 taboo subjects and in the end feel all good about it? Amazing!
Yashira: WOW!!! Just finished a little too far. I started it last night and figured hey let me read a couple of chapters to get the feel of the story. Well after 5 hours of reading I’m officially in a book hangover induced state.I couldn’t put it down.I’m a little disappointed that there was no epilogue but was so relieve to find out that *spoiler’s* story is up next. ( swoon..sigh !!!) … This is definitely going in the top list of 2013 books.
Angie: Oh my gosh…best book…this one is definitely going to stay with me for a while.
About book #1:
Have you ever gone just a little too far?
Lexie Banks has.
Yep. She just had mind-blowing sex with her stepbrother. In her defense, she was on the rebound, and it’s more of a my-dad-happened-to-marry-a-woman-with-a-super-hot-son situation. But still, he’s been her best friend and confidant for the better part of the last few years … and is so off limits. It’s a good thing she’s leaving in two days for a year abroad in Rome.
But even thousands of miles away, Lexie can’t seem to escape trouble. Raised Catholic, she goes to confession in hopes of alleviating some of her guilt … and maybe not burning in hell. Instead, she stumbles out of the confessional and right into Alessandro Moretti, a young and very easy-on-the-eyes deacon … only eight months away from becoming a priest. Lexie and Alessandro grow closer, and when Alessandro’s signals start changing despite his vow of celibacy, she doesn’t know what to think. She’s torn between falling in love with the man she shouldn’t want and the man she can’t have. And she isn’t sure how she can live with herself either way.
Hey, Maryse! Thanks for posting! And, actually, you can easily read the third before the second. It’s Sam’s story, who everyone loved to hate from ALTF. And there are no bk 2 spoilers! I promise!
I just finished the third book in the series. Are more books coming??
I loved the first two books! Still need to read the third!
