UPDATED 09-12-2019!!!
Hrmmm… this one looks good. A “gothic” nightclub and a regular girl that gets a job there and realizes there is more to the place, and to her boss. That’s definitely my kind of eerie romance. 😉
Brought to my attention by Michele (and now I realized a few other of our fellow readers suggested these, too) on my Facebook page when she said:
Michele: I am going to start it this week after I finish the Afterlife saga. I am loving this series so far…
Jillian: I just checked out the Afterlife saga… looks GOOD!!! So many books to read so little time… *sigh*
Michele: It is gooood Jillian.
Holly: If you haven’t read them already then please read the Afterlife saga by Stephanie Hudson. Your blog is my bible so I am confident that you will love them. So far there are three books out with four more to come!! You will ‘crave the drave’ 🙂
Justine: Have you yet read the Afterlife Sage by Stephanie Hudson? The first is Afterlife, the 2nd The Two Kings and the 3rd The Tripple Goddess she is writing 7 books altogether and so far the first 3 are so incredible you must read.
Elane: Afterlife Saga is one of the BEST series I have read in a very long time. I wish Stephanie Hudson would release the rest of the books soon. I cannot wait to read how it all ends 🙂 .
About book #1:
Afterlife… just some gothic nightclub where gossip is fuelled by the presence of a rich and unearthly, handsome family or Afterlife…the strange place where time seems to stand still and guests feel the presence of something more powerful held within the confines of the VIP.
Keira is new to this small, cold town and is running from a past that seems to feast on her darkest memories. She finds living with her sister away from English soil to be just the ticket to the new life she is trying desperately to find. So when the offer of a job at the infamous Gothic nightclub Afterlife comes along she thinks that lady luck has finally found her. That is until its seductively dark and forbidding owner Dominic Draven sets eyes on her. All at once she is captivated and plunged into a world she never knew existed but the deeper her obsession with Draven becomes, the harder it is to decide…should she stay and continue to work within the shadows of the supernatural or should she run from a madness she thinks may consume her?
Warning: This book is amazingly addictive, with its dark mystery, haunting horror, seductive twists and one sexy dark lord that has the reader drooling every time the name Draven appears on the page!

This is an amazing series. Its refreshing, unique and totally unpredictable. The first book really sets the scene, a slow build but with good flow. You will fall in love with the Draven family and book three delivers a shocking twist. A must read if you love anything Vampire, Angel and Demons.
This series sounds good can anyone tell me is it YA or a bit raunchier?
My own opinion, it sounds adult simply because she is working at a goth bar (suggests they are adults)… and where there are adults… hehe!!! 😉
This is definitely NOT a YA book series in my opinion. They are the best books I have ever read, not a day goes by where I dont think about the story/characters and that’s when I’m not reading it! Addictive it is! It is raunchy but not in your face and constant like some others I have read.
Are they along the same lines as Mac and Barrons from Karen Marie Moning’s fever series? Always keeping my eye out for something that grips like that series did.
I just read the first one of these and I really, really loved the storyline. However, I cannot get over the excessive use of exclamation points. It is so bad I almost couldn’t deal with it. In all seriousness, there were points in the book where there were half a dozen on a single page. This may be trivial to some, but I rely on the author giving voice to the characters and when they run around exclaiming everything I have a hard time believing the characters. I am going to get the second book and hope it’s better. The storyline is so good that I want it to be better so bad!!
OMG just finished reading these books and I must say they are amazing! Totally on my top 5 of series. I am totally addicted. If you haven’t started this series then I suggest you bump it to the top of your tbr list. I even read the free 3 chapters of the next book that’s out next as I just couldn’t wait. I’m desperate to know the release date of book 4. Anyway read it, fall in love with Dominic Draven and enjoy the ride 🙂 x
I feel like I am reading a different series to everyone else. I don’t feel like I have connected with these characters at all. I am only 78% through the first book and it’s really easy for me to put down and carry on with something else. I love paranormal books especially where it is still based in the world that we know but I just don’t feel its been written in a manner that you can emmerse yourself in, say like the Fever series. I also find that the grammatical errors break my concentration while reading. I’m not saying it’s a terrible book and I might enjoy it more once I’ve learner more; I might even buy the second book; but I cant say it would rank in my top 5.
I love love love these books, they are my favorite, by a mile, im totally hooked. I would not class this as YA at all.
i also struggled with the first book but decided to give the second a chance and i loved it and have just finished the third and cant wait to read the next.
One of the best series of books i have read for a very long time, have just finished re-reading 1 – 3 in preparation for book 4, has been a wait but am sure it will be well worth waiting for
I just want to say how much I love the afterlife saga books by Stephanie Hudson. It has helped me to escape from my difficult life and I have read them over and over. Cannot wait for quarter moon.
I love this series!! The only problem for me is I love it so much I can’t read anything else!!!!
I absolutely love love love The Afterlife Saga, I can’t recommend them enough. You are hooked from the first page. I have read the first 3 books over and over and can’t wait for the 4th book which is released on December 13th. They are a must read, Stephanie Hudson is an amazing writer and anyone who reads the books will love them.
This is such a fabulous series!! Absolutely LOVE it! Stephanie Hudson draws you into her world and she paints such a vivid picture.
The first book is an introduction to Keira and Dom and personally, I thought it could not get any better but then Stephanie, in June this year, released a re-worked version of it and she took it that one step further.
The books that follows are absolutely marvellous and I am eagerly awaiting the release of The Quarter Moon on the 13th of December.
Highly recommend the series to everyone! This is to be the next big thing! Can’t wait to see who will play Dom Draven in the movie version!
I’ve been addicted to this saga for over a year now,, was completely different to my normal read but I absolutely love it, I’m in love with the characters, the descriptions , the humour, the anticipation,, I’ve list count if how many times I’ve read these books and am chomping at the bit to get my hands on The Quarter Moon, out 13th dec!
I love these books! I kind of fell over them whilst looking for a new series to sink my teeth into ha ha and it helped that amazon recommended Afterlife to me. I did a little homework on the author and after finding out she was dyslexic I thought hats off to her and downloaded the book. A few people had mentioned about the grammar issue but I was gripped from the get go so didn’t even notice it at all. Stephanie is a role model to anyone who wants to do something others tell them they won’t be good at and I haven’t been disappointed. The books are amazing and getting more captivating so keep reading 🙂
Have you heard anything on this new release for book 4? This series is wonderful and I’m dying for book 4. Can’t find ANYTHING on the author site.
Tracie, it just went live today! 😀 I posted the link up above.
I am on the last pages of book 4 and I find myselv reading slower and slower. I dont want it to end! It is by far the best 4 books I have ever read. I go to bed around 12 every night, and end up reading until 3.
Since I dont want it to end I have been reading dozen of your reviews to find something similar that I can begin with after this one. Thank you so much for providing me with the most useful blog ever! 😀
Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Kristin!! *hug* I’m so glad you’ve found us!
Love this series!! One of my all time PNR favorites! Definitely a page turner. Each in the series gets better and better. The picture she paints with her words is so vivid I feel like I am there with the characters!
Absolutely Fantastic!!
Thanks Rebecka!! It does sound so good!
I just love this saga. The author has a way is sucking you in and you lose time. You think you have only been reading for a short time and it has been over a hour. I have to set an alarm when I am at work, so I get back on time. Does ANYONE know when #5 comes out.
When is Pentagram 2 coming out. I have laughed and cried through all the rest. Even staying up till we hours eating chocolate. Series is going to make me fat
THIS IS IT! I have been racking my brain trying to remember this series. THANK YOU for putting it up.whew, happy camper here.
Just came across your blog when searching to see what you would recommend to fill in between Afterlife series releases. Can’t believe you don’t have a list for next 🙁 Afterlife is probably the best paranormal romance/new adult book I’ve read in years….more addictive than twilight (which was excellent for a YA series)…Afterlife just gives was more….sauce!! Great reading lists…have found a few I will definitely follow up on. Cheers!
YAY! Thank you Debra. I’ll see about making an Afterlife list. 😉
I’m going to have to agree with the masses. This is a fabulous story. Fight through the format and punctuation issues and charge right into the meat of this saga! You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
This is my favorite series ever i love the afterlife saga
It really is a must read you will find there is no turning back once you are into it
Hands down the best story I’ve ever read.
Hi, I have just finished Afterlife Transfusion, but the last book has been left with a cliffhanger. Could anyone please tell me what the next book is please, as I really want to know what happens to everyone, or has it not yet been published? Such a brilliant series, I couldn’t put it down.
What’s the point in commenting and trying to get help when no one answers?
Nobody knows yet. As soon as I find out, I will definitely post it.
Thank you for replying, I shall eagerly await.
Can anyone tell me where to get the hell beast claim book 4? Apparently it’s available on paperback but can’t find it on kindle and I need to finish this series like NOW
Hi Lily!
I don’t see it anywhere (not even as a paperback option).
No me neither 🥲
I’m after Hellbeast Sacrifice it’s so annoying when I am so into these books and then come to an end. I have read the books, on Amazon where it says,”read now”
Up to book 6 can’t find that, it’s so frustrating
Book 6 isn’t out yet. Join her group on Facebook and will give you updates on the entire series including afterlife, transfusion ect.
Is there a Hellbeast Sacrifice? I can’t find it
