The next highly anticipated movie of the Twilight Saga (New Moon) is creating a fan frenzy! Here are some sneak peaks to this upcoming sequel, that I have been able to gather together from online details:

Some of this information, despite being old news, I will rehash here, since it is part of the New Moon news:

• We know that the Director of Twilight Catherine Hardwicke, will not be a part of “New Moon”. Instead, Chris Weitz (well known for the American Pie series), will be the director.
• NEW MOON is expected to be released in movie theaters on November 20, 2009
• It was speculated that Jacob would not be played by the same actor that portrayed him in Twilight (Taylor Lautner), due to his young appearance, since Jacob will look quite different in New Moon. However, he has been cast again, and he has put on some muscle weight to accomodate Jacob’s upcoming changes.
• The “wolf pack” of New Moon has been cast. The actors are: Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman
• The Volturi Vampires from Italy have been cast. “Caius” will be played by Jamie Campbell-Bower, “Jane” will be played by Dakota Fanning (good choice!!)
