Here are some quick miscellaneous pictures of the aforementioned Vampire Ball (held at the 2009 Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Orlando)

The big screen so for those who couldn't see the skit close-up

Vampire Ball "COMIC-ula" skit

COMIC-ula's superheros

The famous "Thriller" dance of the night. One girl started it (she knew the whole dance) and everyone was able to follow. It looked like a choreographed movie!

more costumes (notice the character out of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series)

The teeth are so cool! They're not even permanent! Well done!

Maryse, I just got done reading Single White Vampire last night and couldn’t believe when I got on here today and read about you attending that exact Convention written in the (almost) entire book.
Thank you for posting them, I enjoyed it very much!! I had e-mailed you a few months ago about the Succubus Series (Richelle Mead)& was wondering if you’d gotten to them yet?? I’m assuming my favorite author, JR Ward, wasn’t in attendance this year, too bad
Anyways, have a great day & happy reading!!!!
I absolutely loved the pics and stories from each day
Hi Sherry!
Wasn’t that book awesome?! One of my absolute favorites in the series. Being already such a recluse, and on top of that, being a vampire and having to interact with all the humans. LOVED it. So many funny moments.
And yes, it was so cool to read a book about an event that I had once attended, and about people that I actually met. Kathryn Falk (owner of the magazine, and that convention event) is wonderful. Very friendly. It was neat to “read her character” in Lynsay’s book.
In case your interested in my review of that very book, here it is:
