How I Found the Perfect Dress
Hello followers of this blog. This is your faithful progeny Lily, reporting yet another book to you. I read “Why I Let My Hair Grow Out” by Maryrose Wood not to long ago, and liked the book. Now I am not in love with it, but I do like it. This is my first official book of 2011, and I hope this doesn’t start a precedence of “ok” reading. As a matter of fact I know it won’t because Fever comes out in 3 days people! 3 days! Ok, sorry, I’m a little excited about the Fever Finale. What was I saying? Oh, yeah Maryrose Wood’s “How I Found the Perfect Dress” book two in the Morgan Rawlinson series.
When we last left Morgan, she had discovered she was half goddess and had fallen for her hunky bike tour guide in Ireland. Now she’s home and it’s Christmas time, but she’s not finding what she really wants under the tree this year:

Book Review – Evermore by Alyson Noel
Evermore: The Immortals
I read this one in just two evenings and it was just what I needed to get a little “break” from the intensity of the Outlander series I’ve been involved in. While it didn’t blow me away, it had a bit of everything to keep me interested. A little personal (and warranted) angst, a love interest that ends up causing even more angst, some questionable behavior (that is never answered until the end – so it keeps you guessing), and of course, plenty of paranormal activity 😉 Be forewarned, it is a YA series, so a lot of the drama is due to personal inexperience and typical teenage hormones, and you get the usual “mean girls” cattiness, but I always get a kick out of those things (now that I don’t have to suffer them).
Tracey O’Hara – Dark Brethren Series Reading Order
As per the author’s website:
A modern alternate earth where paranormal creatures co-exist in a tenuous peace with the human race.
A world where the shame of the vampiric Aeternus, the death-high addicted Necrodreniacs, hunt and feed on hapless humans.
Where shape-shifting Animalians feud with each other.
And where corporations can be run by actual magic-wielding witches.
But there’s a veiled danger that threatens them all – human and parahuman alike. Stirring behind the scenes is the pure, beautiful evil of the Dark Brethren.
Book Review – Voyager by Diana Gabaldon
Voyager (Outlander)
QUICK NOTE: While I don’t think I gave anything away in this particular review (in regards to the storyline), I couldn’t help but quote my most memorable Jamie and Claire moments from this book. *somewhat* spoiler-ish (in regards to their situation), but then again, I don’t give away the “circumstance” so, it should be okay 😉 If you’re like me and like to go into a story not knowing anything, (I LOVE surprises), then proceed at your own risk, with this review.
S.L. Naeole – Grace Series Reading Order
As per the author:
… She’s not exactly the most popular girl in school – well, not the most popular girl in school to like, anyway – and everything seems to be hinting at another status quo year for her until she bumps into a stranger who leaves her stumbling for words and chasing after her heart. The new guy in school is different. Robert doesn’t care about the rumors he’s heard about her or that no one else seems to see her the same way that he does; he only wants to be her friend. That’s when things get complicated. When Grace learns that he’s not your typical high school boy and that he’s actually a wingless angel who’s looking for someone to trust, she’s thrust into his world where not all angels are meant to protect human beings, and where the changes she brings into his life changes everything in hers.
