The Darkest Pleasure (Hqn)
Reyes… Reyes, Reyes, Reyes. Reminded me somewhat of “Z” (from BDB series) so I ummm… kinda, put my brain picture of “Zsadist” and superimposed it onto Reyes. Not bad, if I do say so myself. Made for a mighty enjoyable read, and kinda like re-reading Z’s story (okay, maybe Z’s cousin or something). Oh, did I ever tell you I did that with “Tegan” from the Midnight Breed series? Yeah… if the hero has “Z-like” qualities, my “Z” image becomes the default in my head 😉

Latest Free & Bargain Paranormal e-Books – July 6th 2011
You guys!!!! Looooook!!! Some really awesome finds!! Most of these are full length and I want ’em all.
Today’s bargains and freebies include one of my favorite authors (Lynsay Sands) and one of her books is in serious bargain mode. Now mind you, this wasn’t my favorite of this series, but it was still PLENTY good, and so many books that follow, rocked my world! Oh!! And a Sherrilyn Kenyon bargain fine too! Again – I loved this book, but the later Dark-Hunters that continued the series were amazing!
Book Review – Sheet Music: A Rock ‘N’ Roll Love Story by Ann Lister
Sheet Music – A Rock ‘N’ Roll Love Story
A couple of weekends ago, I went on another “rock star book” hunt, and I found a bunch (all nicely loaded into my iPad). None of them are “main stream” or very popular (some didn’t even have reviews yet), but that’s okay. There’s a “first time” for everything (and some of my favorite books recently, have been relatively unknown). Each of my “finds” had a synopsis that tickled my fancy, (you know… the whole, normal girl accidentally runs into her favorite star or, maybe even someone she doesn’t personally recognize) but quickly gets caught up in the whirlwind of insecurities and fangirl crushes that go along with dating a rock star. So it was good enough for me.
Today’s Paranormal Book Releases – July 5th 2011
HUGE release day, again!! Books that stand out to me in this list (either from popular series that I have read, or have heard of): Vampire Instinct (Vampire Queen) by Joey W. Hill (I’m DYING to get started on this one, but I keep getting sidetracked by my “dying” to get started on all of my other TBR pile), Skin Dive by Ava Gray, Bloodlust (Nightshade, Book 2) by Michelle Rowen, Night Veil (The Indigo Court Series) by Yasmine Galenorn, and Undead and Undermined (Undead/Queen Betsy) by MaryJanice Davidson (LOVE LOVE LOVE this series – super funny, romantic, and involves so many paranormals you get a bit of everything in this one!)
Nathan Kamp – A Cover Model
Happy 4th of July everyone! Let’s celebrate it with another man-candy post! He counts as fireworks, right?
In my last “Cover Model Feature” post, I focused on Paul Marron, the model that took up the majority of my Top Ten Steamy Paranormal Book Covers. At that time, I hadn’t put two and two together that “Paul” represented the majority of my favorite book heroes. *blush* How silly of me, ’cause now I can spot him a mile away. I’m not cover model savvy just yet, but Paul remains my favorite for now. These “focus posts” are bound to make me a cover model pro one day. I’m gonna collect ’em like baseball cards 😉
