Finding Home
I’m an emotional book-zombie mess again!! I stayed up all night, reading this un-put-downable book. I ended up caring too much for a couple of characters that have both elated me, and disturbed me (well, especially one in particular). They made me sad, made me happy, made me sigh with the sweetness, made me worry, made me say to myself over and over again… “Oh no. This is not good. This can’t be good in the long run. This is trouble.” And yet, I loved it.

Latest Author and Book News – November 5th 2011
Today’s latest book and author news (including a limited time bargain priced e-book, an early ScanguardsVampires release, and an update on Cat and Bones)!!
- Jamie McGuire announced a short delay with the print version of her book Beautiful Disaster:
“I have some good news and bad news: Bad news… Beautiful Disaster paperback version has hit a small snag, which cost us a couple of weeks. :/ Good news…it’s coming!”
- Jessica Park‘s highly acclaimed novel “Flat-Out Love” (I loved it, too!)! Not sure how long that will last, but if you want a funny, sweet, romantic read with an interesting twist, get it!!
- Tina Folsom has released Zane’s story early (Zane’s Redemption (Scanguards Vampires #5)!!! It’s up and ready to go on Amazon as we speak.
- Laurell K Hamilton is currently writing, and has given us a progress update:
“Kiss the Dead (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter) was loud in my head, though confusing. The character growth and the plot are sort of arguing with each other, or rather the large cast is puzzling me as a writer. Tougher job for me, more fun for all you guys. :-)”
Simone Elkeles – Perfect Chemistry Series Reading Order
For those of us looking for more “Alpha male” intensity reading (sort of… a la Travis, so I hear), this one has been recommended over and over again. It is YA, but supposedly still very addictive, and very emotionally heart-wrenching.
As per Corrina:
“Ok he’s not a rock star but a pretty bad a** bad boy… it’s got some real danger and sizzle to it too. So no bubble gum love story here.”
And Elizabeth commented:
“As for Perfect Chemistry, Rules of Attraction and Chain Reaction I thought they were really good, definitely YA but worth the read.”
Michele Bardsley – The Wizards of Nevermore Series Reading Order
About book #1:
Lucinda Rackmore is a witch cursed…
Desperation sends her to the last place anyone would think to find her … the small Dragon-protected town of Nevermore, Texas. To escape the wrath of her ex-lover, she must plead her case with the town’s Guardian—the man her family betrayed a decade ago.
Gray Calhoun is a wizard scorned…
Gray wants nothing to do with the Rackmores, especially not the spoiled younger sister of the woman who sacrificed him to a demon lord. But when Lucy shows up at his door begging for sanctuary, he can’t turn her away.
Suzanne Brockmann – Tall, Dark and Dangerous Series Reading Order
