Happy Thanksgiving friends!!!! I’m so thankful for all of you (my wonderful, hilarious, romance-savy book-friends that I love to cry with)! I’m thankful for my always entertaining books and the wonderful authors that have put their wonderful stories out there. I’m also super-thankful for my very patient and always supportive husband, sharing me with all of the exciting “book boyfriends”. He’s awesome!

And I’m thankful to have this awesome final installment of Courtney Cole’s serialization novella called Until We Burn, which is all about her upcoming main man Dominic Kinkaide from Before We Fall: The Beautifully Broken Series: Book 3 (releasing December 3rd 2013). read more

Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – November 26th 2013

Some highly anticipated books (like that sexy MMA fighter to the left), and the re-release of Sempre (he’s a Mafia prince!!) plus a new one from Laura Kaye Hard As It Gets (tattoo artist/ ex-military) and more!  But I found a bunch of new and different sounding romance reads in this batch.

A few Christmas love stories (perfect timing!) including a Christmas series comprised of novellas that happen in a small town, and each synopsis had me grinning and curious (each installment by a different author). Also, We’ve got a pro poker player that gambles a bit too hard and gets herself in serious trouble, a new sexy sounding rock star read (TWO bands touring together with an “ex” in each band), a down on his “popularity” actor that meets a super-fan, and a bunch more. I dunno, I haven’t read ’em yet, but we’ve got some great look choices to sample. Likely some brand new gems in this list! read more

Book Review – Mine by Katy Evans

Mine (The REAL series book #2) *slight spoiler alert* If you have not yet read book #1, skip this review as this is the sequel. If you love MMA fighter super-stars that are uber-alphas and are big with the whole “claiming” thing… if you love lots of angst and drama, this series just might be for you! (Here’s my review of “Real” —> book #1)

Mostly… I really liked it, because of Remy. He made my stomach swirl and my heart skip beats with his extreme-intense self. His big, sad, LOVING heart. His overwhelming heart. But being overwhelmed by a character like Remy just seems to work for me. 😀 read more
