It’s reader question Thursday, and Kim JUST sent this one over!! She only read the blurb and wants to know which book it is so she can read it… Maybe y’all know?

She asks:

“I read a synopsis of an upcoming release several weeks (maybe months) ago and I didn’t make note of the title or author and it’s driving me crazy – I want this book!

What I vaguely remember…female inherits the CEO chair of a multi-million dollar department store/chain.  She goes into hiding to escape the hounding press – to the swamps of Louisiana, in a run-down old house.  A hit-man is hired to “take her out” but as he is stalking her he realizes she is not what he has be led to believe – a spoiled tyrant. read more

You guys!!! Pure Abandon‘s blurb had my attention BIG time upon it’s release a week ago, and one of our fellow readers jumped in, and loved it! It’s of the forbidden-love, angsty tumultuous love triangle nature… you get the picture. 😉 And it’s next on my TBR list. I just gotta experience this one!

Cheryl: Just finished Pure Abandon. LOVED it!!! Well-written, angsty, love-triangle. It reminded me of Arsen, maybe not in the level of angst, but a h who is married, thought she knew what she wanted in order to be happy, but she ends up questioning her life, her husband, her choices. I knew all along who I thought she should end up with, but I still felt maybe she should choose the other MC. *my heart hurt for him* That said, I think it ended how it should. Lisa: I loved, loved the first book its on my best of the year list…

Lisa: Just finished Unwound and it was great! I LOVED the first book Bound. Ron in is just great and we get to hear his perspective in this continuation of his story with Amery. I hate cliffhanges but so glad the story wraps ups in Unwound. You won’t be dissapointed.

Today’s latest new release “parade of books” is READY!!! 😀

Which are my most exciting finds today so far? Easily… Truth or Beard (Penny Reid’s latest TWIN brothers – she’s hilarious so I know this will be fun!), Chaos (he broke her heart when they were teens, and now she just joined his famous band – yet he doesn’t remember her…) and OMG CHARLOTTE STEIN’S Never Loved: A Dark Obsession Novel (<—she’s been sheltered, abused and she meets a bad-ass street fighter!!!) THAT is my next read. I LOVE this author, she can write the HECK out of sheltered abused girls and the bad boys that they meet). Pretty much, if it goes as well as her book “Sheltered” this one will be my book-dream come true!!! Oh and Finding Master Right (she just wants a simple D/s relationship and he wants a slave…) and The Lessons (she hires him to get rid of her virginity… blurb says forbidden love!!). 😀 *waggles eyebrows* read more
