Happy Monday! I found 8 Monday Earlybird Book Releases (and a few awesome bargain finds), plus look what’s going live tomorrow!

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! We’re now up to TWELVE earlybirds!!! (including Abbi Glines just went live!)

YAY MONDAY!!! Today has a bunch of awesome things about it. It’s my mom’s birthday, and she’s visiting with me this week (and I LOVE my mommy, so I’m going to make her a birthday breakfast!!). Also, it’s Canadian Thanksgiving today (Happy Thanksgiving my fellow Canadians!!) so we’re going to have a mini-one here. YAY! Two Thanksgivings for me this year!! 😀

Plus, I just opened the door and it’s FALL outside. Finally, Florida is getting its fall season. Brisk and crisp  (my mom’s not as excited about that, though 😉 ), and not humid at all. Oh happy day!!! I had to commemorate it here since it’s the first official fall-feelingday for me. Although it’ll be back up in the 80′s later, but at least for now, I can bask in that crisp-fall scent and brisk air. LOVE IT! Time to pull out the pumpkin stuff! read more

Book Review – Evelyn, After by Victoria Helen Stone

Evelyn, After: A Novel
One of the best tales of a character’s “downward spiral” I’ve read all year!! WOW!!!!! It’s considered a psych-thriller, but mostly because we were so busy trying to figure out where this one was going, the entire time, feeling like it could totally blow up in our faces. What was going to happen?!! My lips are sealed, other than I can promise that it will have you addicted, feeling the main character’s every single emotion.

It’s the story of a woman’s emotional, personal devastation, and we get to live it with her, via three dramatic storylines going on at the same time. All interrelated… a domino effect, if you will, and ALL connected to the heroine. read more

Jessica Lemmon – Second Chance Series Reading Order

I am LOVING the sound of this author’s stories (pure contemporary romance with a kick… and maybe some sweetness, too) and when I saw THIS adamant recommendation, I knew I had to look this book up!

Laura: oh my god u guys I found us a gem!!! I’m only 39% into this book and I freaking love it!! It’s a grief/love story and it has the hot tattoo artist single dad and she’s his dead wife’s best friend oh it’s soooo good it’s totally us!!

I don’t know if anyone has read it but from the other characters in the book I’m sure it will turn into a series and even thought the title of the book says so he’s not totally a bad boy, the writing is so real it could happen really and so could all their conversations oh u have to read it! Maryse I know u like to search for stuff realllllly go search on this I know u will love it – bringing home the bad boy by Jessica Lemmon!!! read more

Oh yes, this series is calling me, ’cause it features two of my favorite things. Untamable bad boys… AND they’re billionaires??! *ooooomph* for sure! Challenge accepted! 😀 *snort* Book #2 is coming out soon, and these gorgeous covers caught my eye, so I had to post this!

P.S. Book #1 (about an arranged “marriage contract” YAY!!) already has tons of great reviews!

Friday Finds! We found some book-bargains and… awesome five-star reader recommendations!

Just to let everyone know, I’m on the other side of Florida (on the west coast) and all is well here. Of course we’ll still be experiencing some tropical storm force winds, from some of those outer hurricane bands, but I am safe and sound. Just worried about trees that might not handle the wind gusts as well (and the next few hours will give me an idea), but! It looks like I’ll be here reading and playing books with you all day. LOL!! Yay electricity!! :D!!!

P.S. While I was heading into “Crosstalk” next (and still will, on Sunday), Amy tempted me with her squeeing over THIS “Kindle First” book (Evelyn, After: A Novel up there to the left), and it just so happened that THAT was the one I chose too. So if anyone wants to buddy read with us, this is what I’m reading as we speak! I LOVE crazy thrillers (and that BLURB. Yikes… a love story gone wrong for sure). read more
