HAPPY NEW RELEASE DAY (the last one of the year!!!) and HAPPY BOXING DAY to my fellow Canadians (today is essentially THEIR Black Friday), so I can imagine the fun and terror they’ll be having in the stores right now. Anyone braving some shopping today? I’m tempted to find some Christmas decoration deals… I just may do it. π I think I have a total of 16 balls on my new tree and just a few cute tidbits here and there. It was a bit naked… LOL!
But!! I will also be reading ALL day, and I’ve found my next read right off of this list. π It’s a funny one, it’s been recommended like CRAZY (the cover had me kind of giggling and also not sure if I’d be up for it) but by the glowing reviews (and this awesome super-bargain today), I’m ON IT!!!
But… take a look at what else we found. π Original indie favorites like Willow Aster, and Jane Harvey-Berrick have new releases today, and some hugely popular series have just been bundled (like that one up there to the left) and have just gone live at bargain prices. And then of course, the big names are on here, too. YAY US!!!
P.P.S. Let me know if Iβm missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere).

“Iβm so excited to share βMy Best of 2017β list with you. Iβve made it my mission this year to keep an ongoing list in my iPad of books that really stood out for me! Last year I felt like I left some out and didnβt want to do that again.
Book Review – The Hookup by Kristen Ashley
The Hookup (Moonlight and Motor Oil Series Book 1)
The latest Kristen Ashley book promised tons of romance, family and friends, super-steamy scenes…Β and of course, our favorite…Β alpha-male bossiness. π
And GAH!!! THAT BLURB!!!!! Unrequited love and she knew the deal going in?? I was SO in!
Yes. Oh God, please let it be yes.
This was the beginning of something.
She’s the master of starting and ending a book. Her starts always have me hooked and already anticipating the angsty journey I’m about to embark upon, and her endings fill my heart to overflowing, with that huge smile on my face. But it’s the middle that makes it. It’s the realistic reactions, the fast, often one-sided, head-over-heels attraction, and the insecurities of falling for a man that has a whole lifestyle and demeanor that he’s not necessarily ready to change.
Reader Favorites – Tessa’s Top 12 Favorite Books of 2017
It’s Tessa’s turn and she’s one of our frequent-flyer recommenders. π Or er… frequent-reader recommenders. She’s our resident “bully-book” lover (she loves hating on them alpha-jerks!!), but those aren’t her only guilty pleasures.
Oh yes. She’s a power reader indeed and she’s found us some EXCELLENT books to indulge in! π
In regards to our “favorites lists”, she says:
“We all have a few books to go through! I think the yearly is more significant than the monthly. All those books that you read in Feb, what stood out? I know one I rated 4 stars when I read it, got bumped to a five and is one of the best of the year. I admit it! Making these types of list are fun!”
