This one was absolutely EXALTED in my “books that stayed with you” post. OMG WHAT A REACTION!! I have never read this, or even heard of it until the comments started coming in, so I MUST dedicate a post to it.
Amber: The Giver by Lois Lowry… …amazing and I always recommend them to anyone I can.
parklygoddess: I love the Giver and I feel that is different from all other dystopia books out there.
Rebecka: My absolute favorite book ever has to be The Giver by Lois Lowery. I was 10 the first time I read it but it’s the book that made me fall in love with reading. And I’m still a sucker for some YA dystopian drama. lol
Sarah: favorite book of all time….. The Giver by Lois Lowery. It left such an impression on my as a young person it made me realize my love of reading.
Jamie: when I was in like 5th grade which seems like a million years ago I read the book “The Giver” by Lois Lowry…I still love that book and cant wait for my children to read it..I remember being really mad when it ended and hoping for another one. I was informed today that she does have other books that follow this one and I had to order the whole set including her new one “Son” I am excited now because I can start at the beginning and re read all of them!! I was in the 5th grade and now I am 26 years old working on the last year of my Bachelor’s degree crazy hug? LOL…FYI this is amazing that you are doing this and I am grateful for getting to be a part of this!
