Ashley: …listened to the new book by Kendall Ryan called Playing for Keeps and I really really liked it! It made me smile a lot and I caught myself laughing a few times! I love Jason Clarke as a narrator…he could read me almost anything and I would love it.

About book #1:

I’ve never been so stupid in my entire life.

My teammate’s incredibly sweet and gorgeous younger sister should have been off-limits, but my hockey stick didn’t get that memo. read more

Latest Romance Book Releases – 09-24-2019

HAPPY TUESDAY NEW RELEASE DAY!! 😀 OMG!!! 85+ new releases and I’m still adding them in as we speak!! That said… it IS already loaded in awesomeness (and the reader recommendations section have me a few jolts!!)

In fact… blurb jolts!!! All the Way (Kendall Ryan’s latest… that one to the left. 😉 He’s a hockey star and he’s teaching her how to use a dating app), Gym or Chocolate (comedy romance that had one of our readers laughing ou loud – it’s a recent release), Immortal Born: An Argeneau Novel (I used to be so hooked on Lynsay Sands and this series, and this one gave me a definite blurb jolt!! She’s taking care of an orphaned baby vampire!!!), The World That We Knew (she creates something to protect her daughter… sounds scary and amazing!), Misadventures in Blue (Sierra Simone’s latest!! Older woman/younger man alert!! And he’s a sexy rookie cop!)… and of course I highlighted a bunch more that sound awesome too!! read more

Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 09-23-2019

<— Happy Monday everyone and LOOK WHAT’S LIVE!!!!! 😀 It’s the start of a new week AND it’s officially fall!!! I’m starting to feel it in the air here (well… to an extent). Afternoon sun is still pretty hot, but I’m loving the cool down parts. And to start the new season off, we have a list of new releases with a  bunch that I highlighted.

But first…

THREE THINGS:

1.) I found a ton of various (yet similar) frames at Walmart (all Home & Garden frames) on clearance!!! They look so good, and I spent yesterday morning printing out photos and placing them on my shelves. SO fun!! read more

This author came to my attention when her book “Wreckage” kept popping up as a suggestion for “stranded/castaway” favorite list (and I LOVE that trope).

While each book in this “series” can be read as a standalone, they all appear to be emotional-dramas and I LOVE those too!

JulieO: Just saw WRECKAGE and remembered how good it was. Think a re-read is in order.
