I remember when this one was released (what a cover. Totally grabbed me). The angsty sounding synopsis had me even more! A girl that gets discovered, becomes a model and falls for another sexy top model that she’s been paired with for a photo shoot. YAY!!!
And so many of our fellow readers highly recommend it!
Amanda: Hi! Have you read Tragic by JA Huss? I just devoured it! I love Rook and Ronin! The plot is original…not the college/high school love triangle there is so much of and its bargain priced on Amazon right now!!! Check it out, I think you will love it. There will be a sequel but your not left with a cliffhanger.
Jennifer: OMG THIS BOOK WAS FANTASTIC (yes, I’m shouting!!!) I felt like I ripped off the author! It is a definite must read!!! Dying to hear your thoughts once you’re done!
Jodie: I just read this and I LOVED IT!!! I have to say the cover completely is what got my attention seriously there is glitter but the story inside is totally worth it
Stephanie: I just read it…I bought it because I fell in love with the cover…I was a little nervous when I started it that i wasn’t going to be that into it…I was so wrong ! It was so good and I love reading about Rook and Ronin ! Really great book

Kandace: YAY!! Manic by JA Huss was released this week. I’m reading this one next. Can’t wait to see what happens next with Rook and Ronin.
Lori: This looks good! Loved the first one
Kandace: Me too. I asked the author if there was going to a third book and this is her response, “There are three books in the Rook and Ronin series. The second book (Manic) comes out this week and the third book (Panic) will be out October 24th. I will also have two spin off books about secondary characters in early 2014.”
About book #1:
Rook Walsh is TRAGIC
Because life so far – just sucks. Some girls get parents. Rook got the foster care system. Some girls get Prince Charming. Rook got an abusive frog. Some girls get lucky…
Rook got a second chance. And she took it. Because when fate throws you a bone – you grab it with both hands and run.
Antoine Chaput knows the minute he spies Rook in his photography studio that she’s got The Look. The dark and desperate look he must have to land the exclusive TRAGIC media contract. Rook is paired up with top model, Ronin, and he’s everything her abusive ex-boyfriend wasn’t. Patient, gentle, happy, attentive, and sexy! He knows exactly what to do to make Rook blush for Antoine’s camera.
Rook’s luck changes in an instant and suddenly she’s the darling of the modeling world. It’s a dream job to go with a dream guy and all she has to do is look pretty and follow directions. But there’s always a price to pay – and Rook is about to get the bill.

Oh my I LOVEd Tragic. Didn’t know the second book was out. Am highly considering stopping the current book to start Manic. Something I have NEVER done!
Wow this MUST be good, then. I can’t wait to get to these! Maybe tonight!!
I read both of these books straight through. I think they should have been one book but in any case I loved them. Really different and refreshing plot. An author to watch. Can’t wait for #3 because this series keeps you guessing.
There are so many good books and so little time 🙂 I’ve just discovered this series. I’ve read the first 3 and am working on the spin off books. I really loved the first and third book and liked the second. So far so good on the spin off books. Good plot, quick read. Not to much of a cliffhanger between books. I would recommend.
