It hooked me from the start. I loved being in the wife’s head, mulling over everything she was going through, all her trepidations, her suspicions, her fears, her reasoning…
She hasn’t stopped thinking about it either. Still, if she could undo it, she would. She’d give quite a lot for it never to have happened.
5 STARS!!!! I just finished it, and it was fantastic. I read this one going in pretty-much blind, barely paying attention to the synopsis but I trusted I’d love it ’cause Taylor Jenkins Reid is one of my absolute favorite authors in the world. When this latest release was on super-sale a few weeks ago, I one-clicked it SO HARD!!!!
Seriously guys, if you haven’t read her yet, or you think the premise of this book might not be for you (as I almost did when I realized what it was about) you’re missing out!! What shocks me is that, if I had heard the description of what it’s mostly about, I probably wouldn’t have read it (thinking “eh… not my thing…”), but I am so glad I did.
The crazy thing is that it’s been on my TBR list since its release, but it’s another one that I forgot over time. It went on sale again recently, and I one-clicked it SO hard and finally… all of my wishes for a book that I couldn’t put down came true!! LOL!! It’s true! 😉

Lynn: I have just finished reading Still Beating by Jennifer Hartmann and before that I read her latest release, The Wrong Heart. They were both incredible emotional reads! If you want to experience feels and epic love stories then these two books are a must read! This is a new author to me and I am so in love with her flawless writing and storytelling.
WHAT. A. PREMISE!!!! Don’t forget… that title says it all (well… the premise anyway). 😉
