Highly Recommended Psychological Thriller Books

Y’all know I’m on a big psych-thriller kick, and even better, if it incorporates a love story – especially the unconventional kind 😉 *waggles eyebrows*. One that really messes with my heart AND my mind, ’cause that’s the best of both worlds, for me!

Something with a bad guy, maybe even one that we fall for (and get the surprise of our life), or maybe one that we didn’t even realize IS the bad guy/girl… whatever. 😉 I wanna “be” the victim… OR… I wanna “be” the bad-guy. Either POV is full-on chills and thrills. read more

I’m looking for domestic suspense/thriller book I read (or listened to) a few years ago. And honestly, I wonder my memory of it is mashed together out of other suspense type books!

Main character is an ex wife, unreliable narrator.

Ex-husband, who’s a teacher is missing/or found murdered. And she is main suspect of course. He has new woman/wife who is not a “***ch” to main character. read more

The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen <— This one sounded right up my domestic thriller alley (had that stalker quality that gets me on edge), and I’ve already loved a couple of other books by these authors, so when it went on sale I one-clicked it SO hard.

It hooked me from the start. I loved being in the wife’s head, mulling over everything she was going through, all her trepidations, her suspicions, her fears, her reasoning…

She hasn’t stopped thinking about it either. Still, if she could undo it, she would. She’d give quite a lot for it never to have happened. read more

The Last Flight: A Novel <— HOLY MOLY EPIC BLURB JOLT & THIS BOOK DELIVERED!!!! WOW!! If you like books about a women (in this case, two completely separate women) on the run escaping abuse (or a bad situation) this one is for you! A thriller through and through and one I couldn’t help but devour.

The crazy thing is that it’s been on my TBR list since its release, but it’s another one that I forgot over time. It went on sale again recently, and I one-clicked it SO hard and finally… all of my wishes for a book that I couldn’t put down came true!! LOL!! It’s true! 😉 read more
