Sooooo many books, soooooo little time. 😉 Actually, these are the ones I read back in my print book collecting days before ebooks. Ebooks has made me so much worse. 😛

BOOK HOARDING! Tee hee!! Yes. I am so guilty of this myself. I love that we can struggle with the same “book collecting” needs, the squirreling over awesome reviews and blurb jolts, click to our hearts content and feel guilty about it together. Although Nay doesn’t seem to feel so guilty about it. 😉 *snort*

My “Desperate to Read” list… (my latest TBR list)

Going over the fun “TBR list” quizzes that I’ll be posting in the next few weeks, I realized, mine was in sore need of an overhaul. Or at least an update. ;) From what I can tell, I haven’t posted an official one since October 2015! I’ve been meaning to make a new list for some time now. I have many unfinished TBR lists, but I hear many of you do, too, so I don’t feel so bad. Tee hee!

But come on!! How can anyone blame us? Considering all of these new releases coming out, or when we’re in the mood for a little genre-change, or when our best book-addict friends INSIST they’ve read one they know we’ll love like crazy, it’s impossible for a book-addict to stick to just one. read more

Oh… don’t mind me. 😉 Just making yet another TBR list of the latest from my “mini-blurb-jolt* reels. I simply cannot let these go without being their own I WANNA READ THESE list, and well… considering how crazy all of our TBR lists are, and how bad of a book-hoarder I am (or how GOOD of one I am), I don’t even feel in the least bit ashamed to be posting yet another one. Yep… my TBR list is outta control. And for awhile I had a “book-Dom” (you know… the imaginary kind) that kept me in line with my reading. Tried to keep my whole crew in line with their reading. But apparently, he’s only so much “Dom” and we all… well. We were a bunch of bratty readers. He couldn’t handle the whole bunch of us, and while we WERE sticking to our TBR list for a week or so… a month? He (they – we had multiples taking shifts 😛 )… left us to our own devices. 😉 read more

What the heck is the peanut list you ask? And what do peanuts have to do with books? Welllll…. it appears we have our very own “peanut gallery” here at Maryse’s Book Blog, and our comment crew has taken to throwing peanuts at those of us that have not yet read the SO OBVIOUS favorites. Well… can’t blame a book-addict for that, right? If it’s you favorite, why the heck haven’t I (or others) read it yet? I get ya!
