<— KIDNAPPED & HELD CAPTIVE WITH HER SISTER’S FIANCÉ ALERT!! HOLY MOLY THIS BOOK BLEW MY MIND and now there is a book #3?? IT JUST WENT LIVE?? I didn’t even realize this was part of a series (I just knew our fellow readers were crazy for other books in her repertoire), but the fact that the author mentions that we should read Still Beating & Lotus first, clues me into the fact that we’re going full circle, or revisiting certain characters and I AM SO EXCITED!!!
Mary Ann: Maryse looks like you just gave me my new series to read! Yay . I enjoyed a tv series regarding WITSEC.
Maryse: It’s the first time I’ve ever heard of WITSEC!!! Now I’m going to do some googling. 😉
About book #1:
One year ago…
My family is gone. My parents. My twin sister. All of them murdered by the man who has stalked me for years. He nearly killed me, too. But I got away and he’s still out there, searching for me. He won’t find me. At least, I hope not. Thanks to WITSEC, I’ve been given a new life with a new identity.
Looking for a novel, where heroine was a bartender… I think she was a stalker…
the hero is manipulative and tried to manipulate her emotions,
I think the hero had a female partner in crime
Anyone have a guess?
Shelly: The Fixed series by Laurelin Paige. The first book is Fixed on You.
Jen: Sounds like Fixed series by Laurelin Paige. Good series!
Precious: Yes, it is fixed on you by Laurelin Paige.Thank you!
Its a book about a woman who’s an author running away from home due to a stalker.
She ends up saving a bikers niece in a gas station. The woman and biker fall in love and he deals with the stalker
Anyone have a guess?
Niki: I don’t know what book it is, but it sounds good! Hope someone’s able to solve it!
The Last House on Needless Street <— Okay so it was good but not my 5-star level of greatness that I was hoping for. I wanted that bone-chilling, sleep with the lights on horror read, but this is not horror. It’s more of a psych-thriller (which I love, also) but I was expecting something… different.
Maryse: …this one was given some great recommendations in regards to the scare factor. Then I saw that Stephen King and another author I love (Sarah Pinborough) quoting how good it was, and I knew I had to give it a try. I’m in at about 20% and enjoying it. Not scary yet, but I definitely see where it will be soon. P.S. I LOVE the pet cat. 😉
