Danylle: …I finally found a book that I couldn’t stay silent about. I love novels like Warprize by Elizabeth Vaughan and The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley and I’ve finally found one that has the same pizazz. All it took was one read through of the summary and I was sold. I one clicked. I just wanted to bring this jewel to your attention. I hope you enjoy it. The book is Pathfinder’s Way by T.A. White.
How could I possibly resist a cover like this? And that blurb CINCHED it for me. Reminiscent of one of my original favorites (The Golden Dynasty) – at least by way of Barbarian Warlord making a claim on her – and her not wanting anything to do with him), and I knew it was just what I’ve been looking for!
Maryse: OMG THIS WARRIOR KILLER JUST CALLED HER HIS WIFE AND TAKES HER… eeeeeeep!!! 😲😬 TOTAL BLURB JOLT!! It gave me a KA “Golden Dynasty” feel. 😀 I think I’m going to start it right now. I’m SO in the mood for the whole warrior MINE thing and that cover. *oooooomph*
BARBARIAN WARLORDS WANTED!!! Bethany is looking for recommendations, and while I have a list that we created a few years ago (and still being updated ➔ (Reader Question – Book Recommendations like “Game of Thrones” & “The Golden Dynasty” ) and I’m reading a book in the exact genre she’s looking for, I figured I’d post her question so we can get even more recommendations.
Hello fellow bookworms!
I have fallen down a ‘barbarian, warlord’ book Blackhole and am in desperate need of new suggestions. Anything like the Warlord series – Elizabeth Vaughn, Pathfinders way series, Tarien Soul, The Golden Dynasty & the kingmaker chronicles. Love me a warrior.
<— NEW SERIES FROM A MUCH-LOVED AUTHOR (our crew LOVES her!!) & book #2 just went LIVE and I’m reading it as we speak. And yes, I’m being SO bad, ’cause I’m reading it out of order (I started with #2), but OMG I got a total blurb-jolt from War. It gave me that “Drogo-Khaleesi / KA Golden Dynasty vibe and I was so in the mood for that!!! 😛 And since each book is about a different couple, I don’t feel lost.
P.S. I’m totally loving it. It is EXACTLY what I was hoping for, and the writing is great (and the heroine is modern, albeit in a very changed and horrible new life).
Ohhhh!! This is an interesting reader question, and I have NO clue what else would be suited, but I’m sure a ton of you do. This would almost be like a “What to Read After…” type of list. Calling all fantasy lovers!
