Time for Audiobook Favorites list #3 and this one just may be the biggest one yet! And I’m so excited, cause I’m officially a member of Audible and paid up for the whole year & now I have lots of credits!!! So I took it to Facebook, and received a plethora of recommendations AND Audible & audiobook tips.

And I just realized while building this list. Not only is this a composite of our favorite audiobooks, but better yet, our favorite narrators!!! Because we’ve all come to realize, a narrator can make or break an audiobook. SO YAY!!!!!! 😀 read more

She asks:

hi, there was an audiobook that i was listening to and the page had nothing about the book.

The book was about a girl whose dad (tilia) died and her grandparents took her in,

Tilia had no idea about her grandparents because they were on her mom’s side and she died, early on.

Talia’s grandparents send her to a boarding school and she meets a bunch of guys who are in charge of the school, the boys turned the school on her and bullied her, somehow they started to be nice to her and she trusted them, but then they backstabbed her and her grandparents disowned her. read more

Audiobook Review – The Decision by Kevin Hart

The Decision: Overcoming Today’s BS for Tomorrow’s Success <— There is no better title than that one!!! 😀 This is the first audiobook that I’ve ever preordered and it was everything I was hoping for. Absolutely PERFECT. I LOVE Kevin Hart’s motivation and inspiring outlook on life, and this will be one I will listen to, time and time again.

So some of you know, I’m a motivational audiobook junkie (I start my day off every morning listening to them). They’re a bit hard to review, ’cause I can’t easily quote my favorite parts or even highlight them to get my point across as to why they are must-reads (or listens). But some of them are so easy to relay, because the message hits home, and it sticks. This is one of those and it’s at the top of my favorites list in this genre. read more

Okay so I say book review, but this is actually my very first fictional audiobook that I’ve listened to in its entirety (and on top of that – lucky me – ’cause she’s one of my favorite authors ever). This one came HIGHLY recommended, and I knew I was in for some serious drama so I one-clicked it with glee!!!

Robin: This was also a great book on audible. Probably the best I’ve listened to. The narrators (there are a few) did an exceptional job. read more

Reader Confession – My strange book listening vs. reading realization…

So you know how I always say I can’t listen to audiobooks (or I’ve tried and can’t quite get them)? Well, I just realized (yet again) that… that’s not true at all! I just remembered… I listen to audiobooks all the time. BUT!! There’s a caveat:
